The barista was friendly and helped my friend out with several things. I felt the service was great to be honest. My buddy did feel the regulars were treated better, but I kinda think that's just how it is. I have my regular coffee spot in Texas and I feel like while they treat everyone great, I get special attention. So for me, no worries there. My buddy was impressed by their espresso, especially since it was "single source" or something like that. My friend is more into straight espresso, I'm more of a mocha type coffee drinker. I did think Perkatory coffee was slightly better, but honestly only slightly. If I lived there, I could see me bouncing between the two shops where as here, I only go to my local coffee shop.

Glenda with a very delicious and first class prepared sixteen ounce Matcha and yours truly with a double espresso latte with whole milk. Delicious as well. A few years ago I sold my 1977 Swiss Cremina espresso machine, an original pull design. Since then, I make French Press, black, whole beans brought in from Nossa Coffee in Oregon. Being that the Cremina is long gone, sometimes I crave a really good whole milk latte, double shot. Mutiny delivered. As mentioned, delicious. Highly recommended for their quality of product and execution. Sorry, no pics. My bad. We were on the move.

The employees/baristas and customers were so friendly here! I'm from San Diego and was visiting Santa Fe for a week with my family. I tried to sample many of the coffee shops in town and this one stood out for its friendly service and warm atmosphere, plus quality coffee. I ordered the horchata latte and it was delicious! However, it didn't seem very strong coffee-wise (I believe my latte had two shots of espresso?), so I had to come back like an hour later to get a second one to satisfy my caffeine needs. The breakfast/brunch options looked amazing and were reasonably priced, but during our stay we did not end up eating here...we simply ran out of time! The space is within a shared work building right off the street, walkable from where we were staying and close enough to walk to the Plaza. I enjoyed walking here on a few mornings and getting the feel of what it might be like to be a local in town, while scanning the many clothing and other types of shops along the way. Overall I'd recommend this coffee shop for friendly vibes and yummy coffee drinks...but next time I'd add an extra shot to my latte.

I got the roasted shishito peppers as a light snack and they came with a creamy dipping sauce. The staff were chill and helpful. The ambiance is one of my favorites because It's very calm and chill and people are working or just hanging out. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We wanted to sit outside but it was busy so we opted for a high table indoors. Overall I enjoyed my coffee and food and will definitely be back!

We had such a great experience at San Luis Coffee Company!…read more My husband and I were passing through on a road trip from Costa Mesa, California and stopped in for breakfast after reading the reviews. I'm so glad we did! What we loved: * Friendly, welcoming owner and staff. * Excellent coffee. * Freshly made panini sandwiches. * Homemade pastries. * Clean restroom. * Fun local folk art throughout the café that gives the place such a great community vibe. What we ordered: * #1 Turkey Pesto Panini: Absolutely delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and made to order. It also came with a bag of chips and a large pickle, which was such a nice surprise. * Cherry turnover: Flaky, buttery, and filled with plenty of cherry filling. * Strawberry rhubarb pastry: Just as delicious. The perfect sweet treat with our coffee. I also wanted to mention that I respectfully disagree with the review that called this place "just okay." I've eaten at cafés all over the world, and this didn't feel or taste average to me at all. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and thoughtfully prepared. You can feel the love that goes into running this place. Whether you're a local or just passing through San Luis Obispo, I would absolutely recommend stopping here. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town!

Not only do they brew some of the most delish coffee, but they also sell the beans. I judge coffee by the taste of a cup of ground black coffee, nothing else. This coffee is rich in flavor and has a smooth finish. It makes you want to enjoy the view outside while listening to your favorite musicians. This place also sells artwork by local artists which I love. You definitely want to get here early so you have time to try one of their fresh baked goods. They go fast so plan ahead. Oh, and the best thing is that when you get home to wherever home may be, you can contact them and order their coffee beans to be shipped to you. You will never meet sweeter people than the ones in this coffee shop

. I woke up grumpy…read morethat sunny first Saturday in April. I remember it well. (it was 4 days ago) My wife suggested we try this coffee shop. Begrudgingly I went along; not quietly but more "respectfully pissy" i would say. Navigating our large van in the parking lot we still couldn't find the business. I started bitching about the crummy location, poor signage and how I just wanted a cup of quality coffee. That life shouldn't be this hard on a Saturday morning. Where is this coffee roasters shop? Finally: We located and walked into Candlestick... ...and POOOF !!! We meet (and want to marry) Zach! The enthusiasm, passion, knowledge, mission and love this guy has for his craft is amazing. We are so impressed. We decided Zach's wife is soo lucky! Mia M. did a review calling this an "intimate coffee experience" and I agree. When we relocate to Corrales, we will become frequent customers of this business. "Like really good like customers as they say in the valley." Thank you Zach for an exceptional coffee "pour over" experience ... we loved our individual cups of coffee. We support your fair trade mission, and wish you very well in your business. After our Candlestick Visit: My mood improved from a 3/10 scale, to a 10/10 after my visit to Candlestick Roasters ... YMMV of course, but please give it a try :)
