Husband and I camping at the Holiday RV park right down the road from Interlochen and decided to try Cicero's Pizza, take out. Ordered a medium 5 meat pizza cooked crispy. Told us 20 min and it was ready when hub arrived. Workers were very pleasant and appreciated our business. That was one delicious cooked perfect, lots of cheese and toppings, tasty crust pizza, I have one suggestion, put a little more sauce on! The service was amazing! The gentleman who helped me (I assume the owner?) was so incredibly nice and even walked from around the counter to open the door for me as I left. We were sadly disappointed in the food, but we will definitely be back to give it another chance read more

My family and I came for a quick vacation and Cicero's Pizza really hit the spot for dinner! The staff was incredibly friendly, the restaurant was very nice inside and the pizza was very well made. Overall, I definitely recommend if you're in the Interlochen, MI area! read more

Order was ready really quick for a Saturday night. It was really good, we got the deluxe pizza and it was really good, the bacon was nice and crisp on it. Kids got the cheese and loved it too. Got a couple of pizzas and a salad for dinner one night while staying not too far away in August 2020. Young lady taking the orders on the phone had no idea what size the salads were, we were trying to figure out if they were shareable. The pizza was no better than 'OK'. Very disappointing. read more

Excellent friendly customer service and great pizzas. We were late on dinner plans and decided on pizza because this one was on of the few places open. We ordered the Mediterranean pizza, a custom pizza and the buffalo chicken pizza. Each one was delicious and my kids had a great time eating them. I tried to do delivery and I live about 10 minutes away. The man on the phone was willing to take my order until someone next to him said "uh yeah no that's too far." So I decided to call another pizza place that is 12 minutes away and they were more than willing to deliver! It just goes to show that this place is lazy and obviously doesn't want business. We end up eating a lot of pizza on road trips and who doesn't like a nice slice of pizza with loads of cheese on it? We saw this place when we were going to our camping ground. We were making mental notes of eateries, delis and other stores nearby. On Sunday, we came here to buy some food and they had an offer going on at that time. You buy one pizza and you get any other item at 50% of it's price. We took 2 large vegetarian pizzas as a couple of guys in the group were vegetarians. We also got pineapple as and extra topping on the pizza. I was thirsty so I asked for some water and our server got me a new bottle of water, on the house :) :) That was really sweet of him as most of the places charge you for the water bottles and he gave it to me for free even though I told him that I'm absolutely fine with glass of regular water.. Their service was real quick and we got our pizzas in about 15 minutes. Cheers to the service. The pizzas were an absolute delight. The crust was nice and well cooked and so were the toppings. Pretty good stuff...it's not going to make your cravings' list but it's pretty solid round pie. That said we got their basic pizzas in a few varieties and it was all good. They use the balled up style sausage, their jalapeno is nice and spicy and their peperoni is the standard. Their bread had bacon on it, and their ranch is OK too. read more

A solid 3-star. Nothing to write home about, but nothing to complain about. We ordered a bunch of pizzas and a couple orders of Vinny Bread as we were staying in the area. Everything was serviceable. I thought the pizza sauce for dipping was a little on the bland side as was the crust in general. Like I said...not bad, not great. Seemed like nice people on the phone though and I always try to support local whenever I travel, so this did the trick in that regard. read more

Good pizza, but amazing customer service earns them 5 stars. Love Cicero's!!! Their crust is a little bland, yes, but the toppings are always packed on and the breadsticks are to die for. We usually have a household of picky eaters. We've lived in traverse city for years and never knew of this place. We tried them once during the lockdown. The employee was super nice and extremely helpful and brought the food right to our car while observing proper distancing. We got home and tried the food and it only gets better from there. Best pizza in the traverse area! I cant say enough great things about this place or its employees. Amazing service, great prices, EXCELLENT pizza! read more

Established in 1984.

Family owned and operated for over 32 years. The current owners purchased Cicero's in 2015 after being customers for fifteen years. Their entire family works at the restaurant as well as the previous manager. Pride in ownership is obvious by the product they sell and the service they provide. Delivery service has been added within a two mile radius and the dining room has been updated.

The best pizza in Northern Michigan for 32 years and counting. Under new ownership and the place looks great and delivers again, even to the campground and boat launch. Cicero's now has AC, free WIFI, and satellite TV. They make their dough daily, use whole milk mozzarella and bake their pies on stones in old school ovens. This is not a chain pizza place with punk kids working there; this is a family business that takes pride in their product. Treat yourself to any one of their pies and become a fanatic about this place. read more

Great customer service...always answers the phone with a cheerful voice...they've really spruced the place up! Very good pizza and they've always opened the door for me on my way out and thanks me for our order. Last pizza we got was so yummy gooey with cheese (without ordering extra!), that my 86 year old mom, who eats like a bird, had not 1, not 2, but 3 slices of the pizza! And some of the Vinnie bread. We did take-out while camping at Interlochen State Park. Would do it again. The pizza was good and it was easy to run in and pick them up. A fun memory on our camping trip. read more

But the attitude I get is, if they aren't slammed busy, they don't care about having fresh food, and you just get what you get. It seems the employees don't care, they are like robots now, and unhappy robots at that. They've got the NY magic and the special sauce, they just aren't using it anymore. Maybe the chef quit, maybe it got sold, I have no idea. The last slice I had, I threw it in the garbage, and went to Toby's dog house, the hot dog trailer outside. But it was closed on a day it was supposed to be open. The guy behind the bar at Silver Spruce brewing has the same dismissive/dumb attitude. I wouldn't be surprised if all three places closed after summer 2026 ** since they are capable of making a good New York style pie, at least in theory now, just order a whole pizza.
