Ordered pizza here because there wasn't a better option within 20 miles of where we were staying. We ordered a cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza. The pizza tastes like little Caesar's....but more expensive. The total was $25 for 2 pizzas (about 12" or a little smaller). If anyone was wondering, the "A" in A. Papanos doesn't stand for anything. I've lived in Interlochen for two years and finally decided to order a pizza. I chose A. Papano's because the prices were better than the other places and they didn't charge extra for every little thing (like flavored crust). I got a coupon on my three-topping medium and a Greek salad with extras, and the entire order (with delivery and tip) came to under $30 which is very reasonable. The pizza was delivered on time and still hot, while the salad was cold and had extra dressing. All food was very good, with lots of toppings. I'll definitely be ordering from them again. read more

Called at 6:30 on a Friday night, they said it would be 55 minutes. Delivery guy never showed. I called an hour later and they said he would call me if he could not find it, I called again 20 minutes later and they said my pizza was back at their store and I could come pick it up. They offered a 25% discount and to "Reheat" my pizza. I went to the store and the first thing the manager said was, "So here is the mystery customer, why don't you answer your phone? My guy called you and you never picked up." I showed them my call history and my voicemails, there was NOTHING. They did re-make my pizza, and tried to give me 25% off, but would have had to do some cash back since I paid with credit card. Never once did anyone say, "I am sorry." I was accused and made to feel it was my fault. Pizza was pretty tasteless, crust was horrible card board. 3 cheese Cheesy bread was pretty good. Was visiting family and ordered from here despite the yelp reviews. Called and placed our order and picked it up about 45 minutes later. While making the order the employee told me about the specials and saved me a few bucks. Im always grateful when someone saves me money. Pizza was ok. The sauce was very tasty. The crust was tough but fluffy. The pepperoni was cooked well like I prefer. The toppings tasted fresh and they used a good amount of toppings. It had a burnt taste or I might have rated higher. Service was fine. read more

The one star is only for them at least giving us pizza. (And my butt tastes better than their pizza!!!) BUT I live allegedly 1 MILE out of their "radius" so they couldn't drive out of their way to give me their butt tasting pizza! I called two times! And spoke to two different people! And the lady was laughing at me for choosing Artichokes! Because I'm pregnant with twins and I'm craving them!!! We ordered from here during a recent stay in the area. Our pizza was fine -- in fact, it was very good, very fresh toppings, it was even visually appealing, with the colorful veggies above the cheese -- but when we got home and got our sides out of the bag, I was rather stunned to find out that my salad not only came without a fork, but was nothing but head lettuce in a clam container. I've given this place a ton of chances, but no more. They ALWAYS mess up the order ask for a sub without onion, they load the onion on there. Ask for flavored crust and the whole pizza is soaked in it. The employees are less then stellar, they always seem to be high or just plain rude. This was our most frequented pizza spot, but not anymore! Horrible customer service last night! We ordered and got it delivered, the order showed up wrong and payed for the right order. When they didn't offer to make it right, my husband suggested to come pick it up and refund our money. Believe or no that's what they did! Never did I image that a business would do this! This is a place that locals will swear by is great, but really, couldn't be more mediocre (saying this AS a local). What blows my mind is they will only deliver up to six miles away, BUT WON'T DELIVER BEFORE 3:30. They open at 11:00. What I'm saying is, they open earlier than other options, but the quality is so lacking, that the only redeeming quality would be the convenience of delivery, and they CANNOT even manage to do that. The only pizza worth driving to get in Interlochen is Maddy's 31 and Hofbrau. Also, Ciceros starts delivering around the same time to the same area, and makes better pizza. read more

had an issue with the pizza, I contacted A Panano's to compain.. the manager was jeff...he told me that it was not his problem but mine. I walked in this pizza place ordered it and came back in 15 min..Jeff looked for my order..he said it will be ready shortly..after waiting for my order..guess what..it was sitting on the warming area..Jeff said..oh here it is..I ask how cold is that pizza..being that I have been waiting for 5 mi. He said that "it can not be cold..it is on a warming area." Oh..so I live not only 5 mi away..well guess what..the cheese has set up..you could not bit into the crust. 12:00 dollars..it cost me for a med, pep, cheese it cost me 12.00 dollars. Not an issue really but it better be hot! I should be able to bit into the crust..nope can not do it.. So I contacted A. Pananos to complain..shortly after I got an e-mail from Jeff..not his problem, not his fault, things happen..I told him that JETTS deliver and it is HOT, I pick up with in 15 min..and It's cold he told me that if Jets had better pizza, and better service that may be that is where I should go for now on..
