This place has good service and food. They're known for their Florentine steak - we didn't try it…read morethough. The vegetable flan with fondue was bland, osso bucco good, and penne with meat sauce was also good (a little too salty for me). Cheesecake was also bland but recommended by the waiter. The restaurant is not friendly towards those with mobility challenges. There's a cute exterior covered patio with a few dining tables but too cold for dinner in mid-February. Prices were fair. Interior is really charming with bookshelves lining all the walls and heavy with books and wine. Family friendly.

DINNER REVIEW I'm…read moregenerally no fan of traditional local restaurants since my mum is a pro in making Tuscan food, but I was brought here by a few friends coming from Piemonte and I was extremely glad they opened my eyes on this little corner. The restaurant is outside the center, in a more "industrial area" and this is why it is probably the one you want to go if you're on a business trip and would like to have some serious cooking before heading to bed. They also have an interesting new deal, since you can buy the products you eat, directly in the restaurant. The selection is wide: cured meats, the famous steak, home made jams, Tuscan cheese, jellies, durum wheat pasta, tomatoes, pickled veggies, olives, paté and of course wines and liquors. You can make your purchase online as well. As for my dinner, it was simply special: Appetizers of pickled onions, artichokes, eggplant, dried tomatoes, olives, olives paté on bread, selection of cheese with two different jams, the incredibly tasty vegetarian little tart, drowned in melted cheese Main course: tagliatelle with Porcini mushrooms, divine Second course: Florentine steak, fried mushrooms and fried vegetables All to be appreciated with different kinds of Dosio wines. It's enough to feel happy at the end of such a meal!

From the burgers, the French toast to the assorted alcoholic beverages, fresh juice and smoothies this place was a 10/10. I am so sad I cannot recall our servers name! She was so cheerful and appeared so excited to be at work. We even attempted to tip her and she politely declined and instead wished to receive a review about the restaurant. I had the French toast with their spicy syrup and it was really yummy! I also enjoyed my over easy eggs. I chose the Pink Pleasure as my drink and I found it to be very fresh but just ok however it was still drinkable. My hunny ordered a cheeseburger which was absolutely delicious. The fries were crunchy and fresh. He also had Purple Drank which was very good and rich drink. Overall the restaurant was busy, clean and the staff were very attentive. I will for sure dine here again in the future!

The joint is very much like the breakfast places in Los Angeles, so we felt right at home. To top it off the staff that was helping us, Emmad (sp?) made us feel so welcomed and that made a huge difference. Of course he made everyone feel great at the restaurant. Today, I am trying the chicken waffle. At 9:17 the place is almost full. The place has a seating area in the front and another in the back. There are ten seats bar style as well. It was delicious. I highly recommend the place.

I wanted my egg poached medium…read morebut I was told by an unfriendly dry as dirt Italian waitress that I could only have it runny. I then had to take a little more time to find something else. A lovely American waitress came over and helped me.(I'm not saying she's lovely because she's American, she just was really friendly) She explained that the cook makes all the poached eggs in one big pot and can't specialize one for a customer. She said they could fry it medium well and that worked for me. The other waitress offered to fry the egg or scramble it but she just wasn't friendly, and she didn't give me all the choices of how I could get the egg fried. That really helped me make my choice. The egg's Benedict came with American pork bacon and not Canadian bacon. The hollandaise sauce was deliciousness, but they give you such a small amount. They need to double it. Another reviewer mentioned how good the green hot sauce was, so I tried it. It was spot on great!! I made sure every bite had the green sauce on it. I usually only like shredded hash browns but their breakfast potatoes were perfect. They weren't hard and had a good flavor. The restaurant was clean but very small. It had a nice relaxing feel. I love to try the food of the country I'm visiting, but after traveling for two weeks it was nice to have something I eat at home. The eggs Benedict was a treat. I had the hot amaretto coffee drink and that just hit the spot and made the waiting to be seated all worth it. The had many types of milk you can put in your coffee, for example, they have soy milk, oat milk, etc. I would definitely recommend this place and come back. Oh and the less than friendly waitress served my food to me with a smile, but she never smiled again and never accepted my thank you's no matter how much I said them. Word of advice don't have a sad face if they can't provide something the way you want it if the waitress is blond and Italian. That will not go over well. You're not allowed to be quietly disappointed.

We had the avocado, salmon eggs plate and the eggs benedict. Both were perfectly prepared and exactly what you would hope for in a top-tier cafe.
