this place is very cool and very kitsch. We went there last Tuesday for the first time (you need to make reservations) and we loved it. Very nicely decorated and stayed true to a real 1950's American diner. The owner really paid attention to detail when making this restaurant. The menu is rather extensive. I liked my bacon cheeseburger but I did not like my nachos (its almost impossible to find good nachos in Italy anywhere but yet for some reason I always order them). I recommend the salads & tex-mex items on the menu like chilli con carne, burritos & ribs. I also think the dolce-desserts were really good. Prices were normale-normal and this place is WAY better than the "wild west" in gigli. ;) Try to go during the week and make sure to ask for a divanetto ( booth).

Waiters/Waitresses serve with their skates on.

Nothing special. If you are Italy, try the cuisine. It is better than McDonald's. The breakfast plate is the best. Traditional American. Not much customers though.

Chicken burger, yum

Innanzitutto l'arredo é adatto all'ambiente universitario proprio di Novoli: moderno (quasi chic!), abbastanza spazioso, in generale carino sia all'interno che all'esterno.

Le Vespe Cafe - Avocado, salmon and eggs were brilliant. They had a hint of orange or mango citrus, making for a wonderful experience.

The food was a pleasure to eat. I ordered classic egg's Benedict. I wanted my egg poached medium…read morebut I was told by an unfriendly dry as dirt Italian waitress that I could only have it runny. I then had to take a little more time to find something else. A lovely American waitress came over and helped me.(I'm not saying she's lovely because she's American, she just was really friendly) She explained that the cook makes all the poached eggs in one big pot and can't specialize one for a customer. She said they could fry it medium well and that worked for me. The other waitress offered to fry the egg or scramble it but she just wasn't friendly, and she didn't give me all the choices of how I could get the egg fried. That really helped me make my choice. The egg's Benedict came with American pork bacon and not Canadian bacon. The hollandaise sauce was deliciousness, but they give you such a small amount. They need to double it. Another reviewer mentioned how good the green hot sauce was, so I tried it. It was spot on great!! I made sure every bite had the green sauce on it. I usually only like shredded hash browns but their breakfast potatoes were perfect. They weren't hard and had a good flavor. The restaurant was clean but very small. It had a nice relaxing feel. I love to try the food of the country I'm visiting, but after traveling for two weeks it was nice to have something I eat at home. The eggs Benedict was a treat. I had the hot amaretto coffee drink and that just hit the spot and made the waiting to be seated all worth it. The had many types of milk you can put in your coffee, for example, they have soy milk, oat milk, etc. I would definitely recommend this place and come back. Oh and the less than friendly waitress served my food to me with a smile, but she never smiled again and never accepted my thank you's no matter how much I said them. Word of advice don't have a sad face if they can't provide something the way you want it if the waitress is blond and Italian. That will not go over well. You're not allowed to be quietly disappointed.

We had the avocado, salmon eggs plate and the eggs benedict. Both were perfectly prepared and exactly what you would hope for in a top-tier cafe. There is seating inside for maybe a dozen people but we chose to sit at one of the 3 small tables outside to enjoy the nice weather. Draft beer was $6 euro and the mixed drinks varied from $8-12 euro. We met Alycia who is one of the owners. She was very pleasant and friendly. We stopped for a drink and stayed for 3 hours. We also stopped for a 2nd happy hour on our last day in Florence. Worth checking out if you happen to be in town and want a quieter spot. We loved it.

The owner and staff were fantastic, very knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. The wine bar itself is a small quaint little place. Probably seats about 12 to 15 people total and has plenty of windows so you can see passersby and people watch. The cheeseboard? Get the cheeseboard. They do a fantastic job of pairing everything together to really bring so many flavors to your tastebuds. Their house wine is phenomenal and they take great pride in finding the grapes/different varietals to make it come to life. They have a both a red and a white house wine option. The second time we went - and yes, we went more than once in the four days we were there - we enjoyed one of the sandwiches and it was absolutely amazing. The bread, I can't even explain, the bread it's so flavorful and so good and so light. That paired with the delicious meats and cheeses were 100% worth it. I definitely recommend this location to anybody who is visiting Florence regularly or for their first time.

The staff here are friendly and have such a great sense of humor. They were definitely a huge part of our good experience. Thier choice in music was sensastional as well. The semi industrial look of the inside blends well with the exposes brick walls and the comic printing plates decorating where we sat. I got the lasanga, which was perfect. The cheese is so creamy with the contrast of the tart tomato sauce- I couldn't stop taking a bite when it was fresh from the oven, risking burns. Of the dishes my family ordered the other stand out was the carbonara. I cannot find words to describe how good the sauce was. Anyways it was such an experience that I'm writing this while wating for breakfast at Nostrale.
