The venue itself is spacious and handled a large crowd well. The multiple margarita stations were a great touch and added to the experience, though a few could have used a bit more ice as the day went on. There was a long line for tacos and at one point we had to wait for fresh batches, which slowed things down a bit. I also wish there were more options for those with food allergies or dietary restrictions. That said, we enjoyed connecting with a mix of new vendors and familiar faces, which made it feel like a great local event. The nachos from Casa Azul Taqueria were definitely a highlight. We also loved the photo booth, it was hysterically fun trying to switch props in three seconds. Another standout was making succulents with @sassysucculentsri, such a fun and unique addition to the event. Medici staff were friendly and kept things moving during a very busy event, which I appreciated. The music added to the energy, though it was a little loud at times. One small note, GPS brought me to the wrong entrance, but signage helped once I got close. It was a fun experience overall. A few tweaks would make it even better, but I'd absolutely check out another event here.

On a summer weekend, it gets very busy up there, but on a fall weeknight, we had the outdoor area all to ourselves. We just did drinks, so I can't comment on the food, but the atmosphere and view alone are worth the visit. Blu Violet has both an indoor and outdoor seating area, making it suitable for all seasons. The bar is located indoors and there are a variety of tables indoors. Last night we saw couples dining, as well as hotel guests working on computers. The outside patio is lovely, with tables & chairs, and also comfortable couches. The view looks out to the East, and is very lovely. For drinks, Blu Violet has a cocktail menu, with most of the drinks in the $17 range. They also have a few beers on tap, bottled/canned beers, and I tried the most delicious cider I've ever had: Pumpkin Jack, Made by McKenzie's in upstate NY. My husband had the Narragansett Musik Express IPA, which was on tap. Loved our visit to Blu Violet last night and hope to go back again soon!

Indefinitely recommend this place.

There is a bar on the first floor and the Blu Violet rooftop restaurant onsite. We had a room with two full sized beds. The lobby space was very open and good for groups to hang out either at the bar or by the billiards table. I would have checked out all the other amenities more if I was planning to do nothing else but hang out at the hotel. But heck, I'm by downtown Providence and my goal was to drop everything off and run off into the night like I'm young again. The room was very clean and well maintained. The style is very different from what I'm accustomed to. Those who recommended this stay weren't joking about it being trendier than just another hotel. It's obvious that it caters to a much younger group that likes technology and gadgets. You can see it in the details. I also love the shower head and rainfall combo and the provided personal care items. Definitely love the overall layout and design. Shout out to Ariani who checked me into the hotel.
