Super fast turn around time . Very professional and answered all my questions. I will definitely use their services again in the future .

Horrific customer service! The agent refused to let me apply for the Vietnam Visa again when I made a mistake. She even got into an argument and was very nasty. You can get better and less expensive visas at other places. read more

Do not under any circumstances use this service. CIBT visas must be shut down. 3 weeks to get the visa, but it was clear no work started until a week before our departure. Only after following up personally many times was any progress made. The person handling my case took Out of Office without telling anyone. 2 days before my flight, my passport was shipped out... to another customer. As horrifying as the exposure of my PII to some other person was, I was more horrified to see a $1000+ charge on my credit card, before even receiving my passport. Where they pulled this figure from I have no idea. Ultimately I had to take time out of my day to ship the other customers passport to them. I think in the end I did more work than CIBT. The halfhearted partial refund was enough to quell my rage, but once I return from vacation I will do everything in my power to inform potential customers to avoid CIBT, and hopefully someday this wretched money & time pit will be filled. read more

Best experience securing a visa, ever! Travisa SUCKS! I had to process and expedite a visa for one of my 8 bosses, who is travelling to [insert Western Asian country here], and needed the visa in less than five days, which I thought was impossible. CIBT made it happen in three. Their online process and customer service is stellar. Without requesting, a CIBT rep called and politely updated me on the process each day. This morning when I went to pick up the visa, I mistakenly arrived at 8am, though they open at 8:30. Oops. Fortunately, a CIBT employee just happened to arrive when I did, they let me in, gave me the visa, and I was out the door before they officially opened. CIBT is efficient, courteous, and I'll definitely use them for any business or personal visas in the future. read more

I can't say enough about the decency, competence and professionalism of these good folks in the Connecticut Avenue office in DC. I found my way there after two hours of hell trying to apply for a visa at a nearby embassy and basically showed up in their office crying. They were so sympathetic and immediately counseled me through my visa options, even knowing that since I was coming from a USG agency I would not be a paying customer for them. They took visa photos for me and made me aware of options in case the visa didn't come through in time. My visit there restored my faith in the general kindness and decency of my fellow humans. Whenever I do need visa support for personal travel in the future, I'll use CIBT in a heartbeat. They were amazing! read more

A horrible experience trying to get a tourist visa to India. CIBT was not willing or able to offer any assistance beyond what is posted on their website. Their stock answer is that the Indian visa process is in transition and they have no control over the consulate or the process. They just keep sliding the "Requested back by" date and take no responsibility. No visa, Can not get my passport back because it is somewhere at the Indian Consulate and I'll get it back when I get it back. What a disappointment. read more

The worst. I don't even want to recount the experience. Seriously, use Travisa or someone else. These guys are not looking out for you.

I have worked with CIBT visa for basically three separate occasion over the past few months and specifically used the concierge service. Katrina has been my customer service rep and she has been tremendous. I have never met her in person but she is always accessible over phone and extremely responsive to email. I used their support in completing paperwork and upon my in person visit to the consulate, everything went perfectly. If you are in need of visa support, highly recommend these folks. read more

I used their service for a visa to India ,on the advise of my travel agent, the process is somewhat complicated by the application itself, apparently the consulate requires a company to do all the process , that is what I understood, the service was efficient but outrageously expensive!!!, I paid more than $ 695.00 dollars for 2 people, my advise is shop around or try with the consulate itself,as I learnt later ,they do give appointments read more

If you're in the process of looking for a Visa/Passport service, your search is over if you go with CIBT! All I can say is THANK YOU to the team at CIBT, specifically, Tyrone, Michael, Pete, & Mark, for assisting me with my boss's China Visa. With their incredible knowledge wrt processing and the solid relationship they have with the Consulate, they were able to have this done and back to me in record time. I promise, you're in good hands - they sincerely care about the service they're providing to their customers!! read more

Everyone was so nice to work with, but they are not upfront about their prices. I thought I authorized one price, then they surprised me with some hidden service fees that they said I should have known of..... wound up getting charged about the same amount as the cost of my whole trip. Would have just gotten the visas on my own or upon arrival. Not worth it in my opinion. read more

I would give them 10 stars if I could! Last Thursday night I started to pack for my Carribean trip only to discover my passport was nowhere to be found, we were leaving in 10 days. I was in a complete panic. I hooked up with CBIT the next morning through an internet search. The intake on the toll-free line was prompt and helpful. The instructions they email to you on what to do are completely clear. When I went to the passport acceptance facility they praised me for how perfect my paperwork was. That is completely due to CIBT's clear instructions. I dropped off the sealed envelope at their office on Friday at 3 and my passport was issued on Monday!!! I could have overnighted it to them and they would have overnighted my passport to me, but I was too nervous and just wanted my passport in hand! The whole process was seamless and CIBT's fee was by far the best value advertised. For less than the State Department expediting fee (which you still have to pay on your own), CIBT got me my passport in less than 2 business days. I am so grateful that this service exists and would recommend them to anyone that finds themselves in the same bind! read more

STAY AWAY!! I would give zero stars. My family and I were scheduled to move to China in August 2017, and as such, I engaged CIBT to assist with one Z-visa (work visa) for China, and three S-1 visas (Dependent) for my wife and children. However, on August 4, two days prior to our scheduled departure from the US, I noticed that my wife's visa was actually a Z visa as opposed to an S-1 visa. They requested we send the passport back to them, and they would correct this issue and return. As this occurred two days prior to our scheduled move to China, my wife was unable to make the move to China with the rest of our family. For Wednesday, CIBT instructed my wife to go to the Chinese consulate to meet with their agent (Kenny) at 9am. She arrived, but the CIBT agent was not there to meet her. After following up, we were told he was "stuck in traffic" (email from K. Eliste). My wife waited at the consulate, took a number, and the CIBT agent arrived an hour late with the visa application documents. While waiting though, the CIBT agent (Kenny) walked away, without notice. Of course, this is when our number was called. My wife went to the window, they listened to the request, and upon review of the application, they informed here there were 3 errors on the application. Unfortunately, the CIBT agent was still not there to assist, so my wife began sobbing as she sat there, half way around the world from her family, not knowing what to do. Showing compassion, the consulate agreed to fix the errors on the application (note that CIBT had fully reviewed the application and provided it to my wife that morning), and that, best case, it would be 48 hours before she could pick up her passport. After contacting CIBT about their disappearing agent, they noted that he went to grab something to eat, and could not locate her when her returned. Nor did he try to call or text her apparently. So we change flights again, extend the hotel reservation for one more night. And wait for Friday. For Friday, CIBT instructed my wife to go to the consulate, and again, noted that their agent (once again Kenny) would be there to assist, as well as to pay for the new visa charge. She waited in line, was called to the window, paid the visa fee herself, and once again, the CIBT agent was a no show no call. My wife then made her Friday flight and was with the family on Saturday. In an attempt to recoup unnecessary out of pocket expenses due to their error, CIBT continually stated that our case was under review by upper management. However, they have sense stopped all communication with us and we have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. They repeatedly did not live up to their word, missed a number of deadlines and expectations they set themselves, made a difficult situation even worse by not showing up in person at the Consulate to assist, and displayed poor customer service at each step along the way. STAY AWAY!! read more

I wouldn't recommend CIBT to anyone. There is a lack of customer service and follow-up from their side. For example, my passport (verified by me) has been sitting awaiting pick-up from the Indian Embassy in Atlanta for two days now and all CIBT will tell me is that they are going to pick it up on the 18th. But I travel on the 16th. Fortunately it's not to the country that requires the visa. So now I have to lose a day of work and go apply for a second passport from the Miami passport agency. Not bad, but this requires a 4.5 hour drive each way when CIBT could pick up my passport and overnight it. Emails go unanswered and if you call, forget it, they are clueless and not willing to listen, help or follow through! read more

The absolute worse experience I EVER had. Applied for a Business Visa to India, should have done this myself would have taken a few days. According to CIBT helpdesk CIBT submits multiple passports in a package. Which would be OK if they were the actual entity submitting the package. They turn around an use CKGS who is the actual processor. I contacted the CKGS help desk who at least stated they would have someone check into it, they also said the same thing in a response to an email I sent a day earlier (never received a call). Bottomline, runaway from CIBT and CKGS, do it yourself and save the grief and your money or companies money, 13 days and counting. read more

Terrible! Kept promising me I would have my visa to China in time and then couldn't get it done. Had to rebook flights and hotels--cost me a fortune. They don't care, and they had weeks to process. read more

DO NOT USE CIBT to renew your British passport!!!! The worst experience ever! Had to cancel flights 2 times because of the very long delay in getting passport; their excuse was that it's not their problem that the British embassy was taking their time..it has been more than the 10 weeks that they said would normally take to process. I finally called the British Embassy myself, and was told NOT to waste my money going thru CIBT, that I could've submitted my passport for renewal directly to the embassy; would've been processed within 5 weeks! Worst part, the CIBT rep, Stacy, has the worst attitude. Never again! read more

CIBT is the way to go! I have used them twice now, once for a tourist visa to Brazil and most recently (this past month) for a tourist visa to China. Before completing the paperwork, I had several questions (even though many of your questions are answered in the FAQ's). My questions were answered promptly and accurately. I completed the application, sent it in, and within 2 weeks (I did not expedite), my passport was safely returned with the visa firmly attached. Getting a tourist visa to China is not a "do-it-yourself" project, unless you have plenty of time to sit around the consulate and then return on another day to finally get your visa. Time is money and using CIBT for your visa and passport needs is money well spent. Thank you CIBT! read more

Found out the hard way that CIBT is only for expediting VISAs. That is they only check your application for completeness and then courier it to the embassy. In case of any other work, they offer no additional help or advise. If there is a problem with the application, they pass on the requirements whatever they may be, back to you, without any intuition as to what is being asked, why is it being asked or what may be asked next! In other words, they are absolutely useless if your application needs help and yet they advertise themselves as VISA experts? read more

A serious "meh" to this service. I used CIBT since my company has a contract with them, and I can't say that I would use them again if needing a visa for non-business reasons. Prices were high, communication was sporadic, and I was very worried that I would not receive my visa in time (despite my careful planning) due to the length of time it took them to process each document. In addition to poor customer service, one of their agents emailed me back an edited application so that I could sign and return it - but she didn't email it directly to me. Instead, she emailed it to a similar address, leaving out some numbers from my clearly stated email address. Luckily, the recipient of this form, which contained all sorts of juicy personal information, found my email address within and forwarded it on! I also lost a day in getting the visa/passport mailed back, as they again did not put on the correct address - which I clearly provided - and FedEx couldn't initially deliver it. These are easily avoidable and careless mistakes that make me very wary of ever using them again. Go with another service if you want to avoid needless headaches. read more

I just received two visas for China through CIBT's Washington office. Their online tool is great and we eventually received our visas as promised. The key word is "eventually." I noted on my CIBT form that I wouldn't be traveling to China until after several weeks. As a result, even though the Chinese embassy processed our visas quickly, CIBT sat on them for more than a week. I had to call them three times to inquire about the status. Only after I asked for the email addresses of their bosses did they finally see fit to mail me back the passports. Also, beware that they'll tack on a $25 "passport replacement service" fee for each passport -- essentially, unrequested insurance -- unless you explicitly tell them otherwise. When I called to complain about this, they were professional and helpful in removing the charge, but it nonetheless seemed like a dubious add-on to the hefty $206 they charged for their regular, non-rush service, which doesn't include the $37.80 return postage or the charge from the embassy itself. Overall, if you know someone in Washington, it would cost you less in money and aggravation to ask them to handle this for you instead (even if you treat them to a nice "thank you" dinner). read more

I went online to explore getting Visa for upcoming travel. As part of this, I put in credit card info to get the application package. Upon review, I decided to get visa directly from Embassy. I then noted $75 charge for "application package" that I did not complete. I never received a visa from the company, and the only service they provided was allowing me to enter my credit card number (I realize this was my first mistake). I called to ask them to remove the fee for a service they did not provide. The customer service agent was snarky. He stated I might have used the information I sent to apply for a visa elsewhere (I have no idea how this would even work). He went back to his manager twice while keeping me on the phone. Finally, the manager got on the phone and told me he would absolutely not remove the charge for the service they did not provide. In summary, seems like a total con. I'm sure if I sifted through their website I'd find some text stating that they will keep my money even if application not completed. Somehow I assumed that I would only pay for a service received. read more

absolutely awful. you can get very little information over the phone or help. we got two visas for india. we had all the forms filled out and pictures taken and took it all in to them and they still kept us waiting 40 minutes at their front check-in desk for people to take our credit card and get the process started. when we came back in person to pick up the visas, they made us wait 30 minutes while they walked 20 feet back to an office to pick up our passports and hand them to us. most importantly, they billed our credit card over $1000 for these two visas - several hundred dollars over the correct charge. it took another half an hour on the phone to get them to understand the error ... they could not even tell me what the fees were supposed to be - they said they need to "review it in thier computer." they said they would correct the problem and call back - neither of which they have done as of this writing. they think and behave like some kind of arrogant monopoly and hide behind voice mail and an answering service. use them at your own risk read more
