    The adorable animals

Great place. Very friendly staff members, work very hard. Wines and mocktails were delicious. The food...eh. The flat bread wasn't cooked all the way through, the charcuterie plates were different from everyone, each has more or less or something from everyone else's. Didn't have knives for the cheese. The chicken kabobs were cold and precooked and then cut and put onto stewers. The lamas and baby cow were quite friendly though. The patio had a large amount of different kind of patio furniture, it was all mixed up and all over the place. Although we had a great time.

We enjoyed a nice glass of wine and the arugula and prosciutto flatbread on their outdoor porch. The services was good but busied with a large amount of people there. The food was great and the wine was tasty. They had live music, beer and a full bar for those who are not into wine. This is a nice place to go for a weekend outing where you can just sit and visit and listen to live music.

Very lovely venue. The owner and staff pleasant and helpful.... Nice patio. The alpacas are adorable.... We had wine and cocktails.... A bite to eat. No complaints...

    Don't order the pretzel.

The wine selection was horrible. No white wine available! Food selection was worse! Will not be back!

Something about the pictures I seen made me interested in going and the Italian food . What an amazing experience food was amazing as I ordered the meatballs Caprese salad and the margarita pizza . Food was fresh and delicious and waiters were super friendly . The atmosphere was quaint, comfortable, and refreshing to sit on the patio that felt like I was sitting in the middle of a vineyard I purchased three bottles of the Zin pom wine can't wait to share with my friends. The most exciting part was to find out that the owners Sandra and her husband were from the bay area where I'm from and we're so nice and familiar to us and made us feel At home . She even offered next time to let her know if I was coming, she would show me around her vineyard . If I lived closer, I would definitely become a member as I hope to purchase more of this wine when I get back home

We used to come here…read morewhen it was Lara Vineyards, and the service and overall experience were noticeably better. It's disappointing to see how much things have declined. My sister is a member and hosted her 50th birthday here, so we expected a much higher level of organization and service. The party had already started and the rest of our group was there--we arrived late due to work and ordered food immediately when we got there. Right after placing our order, we were told we had to leave soon, so we asked to cancel it. Instead of handling this professionally, a staff member (River Dan) laughed and told us the food was "almost ready" because it had supposedly been placed 15 minutes earlier--which was not true. Another person in our party had ordered the exact same pizza before we did and was still waiting on theirs. We canceled our order, and their pizza didn't come out until about 10 minutes later. That makes it very clear ours was not "about to come out" like we were told. The explanation we were given simply didn't add up. Throughout the evening, staff seemed confused about orders. Drink service was also frustrating. I asked what a "zinpom" was, was told it was basically a juice wine, declined it, and specifically ordered a Sangiovese--yet I was still given the zinpom and then it was attempted to be charged to us. What made things worse was how the event itself was handled. My sister was never clearly given an end time when reserving the table. We were only told to leave about 15 minutes before the cutoff. At other wineries, guests are usually allowed to move to a general seating area after a private event ends, but here the only option was to leave entirely. Overall, the lack of communication, poor organization, and dismissive attitude from staff really overshadowed what should have been a special celebration. We expected much better, especially for a member-hosted event. If this is how members are treated, especially those who continue to frequent this place despite ongoing service issues, I can't imagine how non-members are treated

I visited this highly rated wine tasting room when I was visiting Boerne for the weekend. I was…read morethe first to arrive around 130pm, but about 4 other couples walked in not 10 mins after me. It was a fairly hot day for the end of winter, so I chose to sit inside. They have a handful of high top tables and about 17 different wines on the tasting menu. The prices for the bottles range from $24 - $165. One interesting note, the grapes are currently grown in Lubbock due to the water shortage in this area, but they have some vines that are being replanted on this property so maybe in a few years they will be ready. They do have some snacks to try/purchase in the cold case, and more dry snacks that aren't refrigerated on the other side of the room. Since we hadn't eaten lunch yet, we grabbed a meat and cheese from the refrigerated case for $10 Restrooms are in a side building adjacent to the tasting room building. I tried the El Jardin, Albarino, Cinsaut, Sangiovese, Mourvedre, and Cabernet Franc. We also sampled a 1/2 pour of the Nectar du Terroir which is a fortified dessert wine instilled with brandy. I liked it but just be warned that it is strong at 17%. El Jardin - light white wine easy to drink; would go well with seafood Cinsaut - sort of like a pinot noir but slightly bitter Sangiovese - fruity similar to cinsaut but not as bitter Mourvedre - tasted similar to cinsaut but slightly better Cabernet franc - the best of the bunch, pretty smooth Overall, we enjoyed our experience here but are not huge wine drinkers and didn't really find one we were in love with. We didn't end up taking home any bottles but will always enjoy the memories. One note, their wine is reportedly not sold at liquor stores, but it is sent to select wine bars throughout Texas, so you may find it in your town; otherwise, the only other ways to get it is through their website, or by visiting the tasting room just outside of Boerne. They do not have a tasting room in Lubbock where the grapes are grown.

Arrived on a rainy Saturday to a very welcoming bunch. Peggy met us at the door and said to sit wherever and they would come to us. Made our way to a cozy table and Connie came over with bottled water, a tasting menu, and a great smile. She went over options, asked about what we like, and we settled on a nice bottle that we could both drink and enjoy. By then, the owner, Pat, was set up and started playing guitar...he's a pretty good picker...and he sings about as well as I do...but still very entertaining. Great guy to talk with... Peggy did take me on a mini tour of their production facility...would classify this place as a nano winery...small batches done in a not so traditional way...mostly West Coast grapes and made in single batches and aged in carboys. The results speak for themselves...damn good wine at fair prices. Great venue...too bad it was dumping down rain...they have a couple of pergolas out back as well as lots of open seating..next time. When we finally had to go...2.5 hours later, we felt like they were family...very genuine people who love what they do and have a passion about their products.
