I mean I wish there was something negative to say so. It doesn't sound like a phony review., but this is truly a gem and should at least be tried once The the interior seating as such a bistro quality, upscale, but friendly, very professional, but friendly And I've been there twice now and I will say the second time I went they weren't open on a night they were scheduled to be. They extended their weekend for their employees and Restaurant staff which wasn't convenient for me, but I called and that's what a woman told me. I went back the next night, cause I'm only in town for two weeks and I've got the rest of the week left so I wanted to try it again and during my meal a woman walked up a staff member and asked me if I was the one that called the night before and I said yes and she said thank you for coming back and I said not a problem. I completely understand. It's nice if you were able to extend your staff's Fourth of July weekend. I'm getting ready to leave. I'm asking if I can cash out and I was told it was taken care of and I asked my whole bill and my server said yes it's our way of saying thank you for coming back. It was a nicest thing anyone's ever done for me in a while and I didn't order the least expensive items on the menu. I went for a taste good. It is a long review. I wish I had more time where there was an audio button, but I do want other people to read this. My favorite item on the menu is an appetizer is zucchini fritters out of this world, and I personally went for the duck confit , it's all great. Please try it out. Make a reservation to yourself a favor and just enjoy yourself. I understand the woman's name was Regan, would like to give a shout out to Regan and her staff. There a lot of great restaurants out there this one is absolutely one of the kind and it's not just my opinion, Ask anybody that's familiar with the name . Oysters Rockefeller and Duck Comfit. The oysters were outstanding. The oysters were small but tasted fresh and clean. The topping was creamy, nicely browned and well balanced. It was served with focaccia which was lightly toasted. You order the oysters individually, which is especially convenient as you can then order as many as it pleases your appetite. The duck comfit was excellent. The skin could have been crispier but the meat was succulent and well seasoned. Served with miso carrots and Boursin potatoes. The carrots were glazed perfectly and were a good compliment to the richness of the duck. The potatoes were the weakest part of the dish. I expected more flavor. There was no accent of chives or perhaps some creme fraiche to provide a herbaceous accent and/or acid to cut through the richness of the dish. They were placed in the plate from a disher so it looked a bit cheap on the plate. The wine was a Le Volte dell'Ornellaia red which was well balanced and very approachable. Not heavy on tannins. Overall an exceptional meal for $75. I would recommend it! read more

It had been a MINUTE since I had been to Ciao, and I was so happy to return. We were in town for homecoming, and it was such a nice way to kick off the weekend. Our server was personable and attentive, and really made our experience! I ordered a dirty martini and the chicken parm. The chicken parm was amazing and cooked perfectly. Outstanding once again. Writing this review a couple weeks late but all the better because of the memorable experience. I was part of a large group that was celebrating a birthday in the middle of the week. Appetizers were a great start with crab cakes, oysters, dips and bread served hot and very flavorful. Scott handled our orders and drink requests without hesitation and took great care of everyone. Fish, steaks, pasta and specials were ordered and prepared at a 5 star level. Multiple couples were first time patrons and were very happy with the level of service, drinks, and most importantly food. Hidden gem that is the best in the Cape area. My second time and here and both have been a great experience. First time I went on a date and our server Miles was personable and not like a robot which I love as a former server. The second time I my server at the bar was Tyler and again, great conversation. I could go on and on about service before I even get to speaking on the food. The first time I had the meatballs and crab cakes as apps and both were pretty good. The crab cake isn't like that Maryland style lump crab cake but all in all I'd definitely order again. First time around I got the Australian Wagyu which, as an avid steak eater, was cool to perfection with a good price point. My gf got the seafood mac which is what I got my second time around. They definitely did not skimp out on the seafood or flavor in this super rich and decadent dish. I cannot recommend this place enough! Everything is delicious and the food is 10/10, but the service is 20/10! I travel alone for work and was craving some good Italian food, so I booked a table here. I was unfortunate to come when they were hosting a private party so I sat at a table by the party, and while it was incredibly loud, it really didn't detract from the experience much as the meal, service, and atmosphere was still great. However, my server told me that the manager (or owner?) felt bad about my experience being disrupted by the party and comped my meal. Even though this was unnecessary, as I still had a great time, it was very appreciated. If you're a local, or just passing through, this is a place you DO NOT want to miss! read more
