He was very nice, and he applied good pressure to the knots I had. I will be back, but I wanted to leave this information out to those who may want a female masseuse instead! it was my first time here and I just didn't want to be an inconvenience! I did book for a 30 min massage but the chair was making me a little claustrophobic so I ended up stopping him at 20 min exactly. He didn't try to charge me for the 30 minutes, so I appreciate the last minute accommodation:) My type of work gets very chaotic around holidays, and I know I'll be back for a quick massage for those long shifts!

The prices are competitive. Wendy did a great job on my deep tissue massage. She made sure I was comfortable with the pressure throughout the massage. I chose an hr and a half and that incorporated hot stones. The ambiance was nice and relaxing. There was on site free parking which is always a plus. I would definitely return again and see Wendy but next time I would make an appointment. Wendy had an appt when I arrived and right after I left. She seems pretty booked up. So if you go make an appointment.

I arrived as the owner was wrapping up with a client in one of those massage chair things you see in the airport where the people kneel lol. I was led to a back room with a table and tranquil music and told to change. I like a firm massage and let me tell you this tiny little lady delivered. She got my knots out went deep did fully body including my feet which were last (saved the best for last) and adjusted pressure as requested. Since there wasn't another masseuse we did get interrupted by walk in's a few times and lost a few minutes but overall it was a great massage. I've paid double for worse and have walked away feeling like I needed another half hour or more. Whereas here I felt fully relaxed and so much better within that limited time frame. The music was tranquil and not too loud. The masseuse could not tell me exactly what was in my massage oil so if you have allergies steer clear. I really felt I got the best bang for the buck and left feeling like a million bucks.

However, all the massage places in the area have the same increase. There is free parking with two designated spots since it is a busy strip. They do well with limited English. Things they could do to make it five stars: my roommate and I noticed, they do not consistently have the same amount of time. I set my watch now. They could put a sign on the door when full so the workers don't have to leave to answer the door and phone. I'd love if they could get the hot towels ready in the room--they are all big enough--so no one is freezing while waiting for the massage personnel to return. And don't ask for more of a tip; it's just tacky.

Definitely the chance you take when you go to some of the massage places in Metairie. Kinda run down, furniture in dark corners, out of service makeshift Vichy, the air conditioning barely works. Dreary at its best. She was not a massage therapist...her timing was off, kneeding was unbalanced--no wonder they collect pay upfront.
