The quality of the massage is horrible, these people do not seem licensed, The customer service is horrible. Do not come here and waste your money, the lady was also very eagerly asking for a tip at the end.. I came to this place expecting to be relaxed and I was annoyed the whole time, the room I was in I could hear people talking and I smelled cigarette smoke for half the time I was there. I also left more sore, the lady would not listen to me when I said softer. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. I've been here several times and they progressively got worse. Tonight was the final time I step in this door. I can't believe this is a business. My husband and I were in a couples room. The two massage therapists kept talking LOUDLY and mine was going in and out of the room to answer the phone. I cannot believe my experience here tonight. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. Worst customer service. Such a joke. I feel like I was on the show "Punk'd" read more

This place is the worst. I basically felt like I was being strong armed for a tip. The lady talked on her phone the entire time. She left out often and other workers came in while I'm naked on the table. Last but not least she did not use her hands she placed a towel on me and did the massage. Yes the open late but you will regret going here read more

I went here yesterday for a 30 minute, full body couple's massage. We both really enjoyed the massages, but there was an issue after payment. Both women who massaged us DEMANDED a tip and began to yell at us in another language. We were planning on becoming returning customers because of the great massages, but the customer service was horrible. read more

The woman was very nice but this really was a terrible massage. The woman did not understand English and basically just rubbed cheap body lotion on my back. The room was freezing cold and I asked her multiple times to adjust the temperature but she did not understand. I also repeatedly asked for more pressure but nothing changed. I would not recommend, not worth the money. read more

Not the best place I've gone to historically, yet not as bad as some of the reviews made it out to sound. Was clean and comfortable. Price was fair. Didn't seem pushy on top. Massage lady English was weak, but we were able to convey key elements - softer or harder and questions at checkin. I came as a walk-in. I would not have hesitation visiting again. read more

I have been coming to Asian Magical Spa for years. As an on-and-off runner, a good massage can make a big difference in how quickly I recover. This place is one of the best for a professional massage that is not trying to please you for a big tip. Wendy has been there for a while and is my go to therapist when my body is aching. Tonight she was amazing as always. read more

My husband and I had time to spend while awaiting a flight. We called last minute on a Sunday and were able to get 90 min combo reflexology and full body massage. It was very nice and relaxing. Good deep pressure, spa music, and sweet ladies. We always look for places like this and it's hard to know the good ones vs the bad ones. We would return here again and highly recommend it was very therapeutic. read more

As stated in a previous review, the quality of this business has progressively gotten worse over the three visits I made. On the last and final massage ,the therapist continued to leave the room to answer the phone. Additionally, the price of a massage has steadily grown while the quality has decreased. The therapist whispered in my ear several times during my session, and I was unable to understand her, but it made me feel uncomfortable. Lastly, the therapist added three dollars to the stated amount of the tip without telling me until my card was billed and ready for signature. I will be taking my money to another service from now on. read more

Wendy gives a very good deep tissue massage. I have been a client of her's multiple times over the past 2 years and her deep tissue massage is excellent. Also, when shown which areas of my back hurt the most, she will focus on those areas when needed. The music is also very relaxing. read more

I dropped my husband off to get a massage. I came back and I went in to pay. I paid with a card, she asked for a tip and I said ok but she was not satisfied and began to scream at me. Saying she get paid by the tips she get. I didn't want to get upset. I actually was embarrassed to be treated this way in front my husband. I had to ask for my card back, she acted like she wasn't going to give it back. She threw my card back at me and continued to fuss about the tip. I ended up giving her a bigger tip and I left. I will never return and I would not recommend anyone to go here read more

I drove by this place in a little strip mall and decided to give it a try. I'm determined to find something in the New Orleans area that compares to the thai massage place I loved in California . I've had countless massages over the last few years so in terms of quality/experiences I feel I know what to expect. This place looks great on the outside, and the interior is beautiful. It seems very clean and quiet. The pricing seems more than most walk-in massage places, but it looked like a place I'd like to try, so I caved. That's where the good part ends. There were frequent loud bangs on the ceiling. It took me a second to realize it was from a gym upstairs and the sounds were dropping weights. The room I was shown to had the proper table with sheets on it. However, the top sheet was just thrown on there like dirty laundry. For a second I wondered if it had already been there or if she put it there when she showed me to the room. She asked me how much pressure I liked but didn't fully understand my short/clear response. I figured we'd work it out as we go. Her phone was not on "silent" so I could hear every text/update that she got. I sighed when it happened, hoping to be subtle, but then it rang and she answered it. Not only that, she carried on a conversation while rubbing my back with her free hand. I cleared my throat several times and still - she kept talking. When she finally hung up she was oblivious to her rude behavior because she kept telling me to relax when she felt my back tense up. I was so shocked as to what just happened I didn't even know how to react. I just wanted my massage. And forget about proper draping - she uncovered my whole bum while massaging me and just left it. I moved the sheet back up where I felt comfortable, and she left it until she moved on to a different part of my body where she again, basically removed the whole sheet. This happened a few more times. When I went to the front desk to pay (I probably shouldn't have paid), my "therapist" offered me water. Good job. The cashier seemed to run the place so I told her what had happened and how it was unprofessional and unacceptable. She didn't understand me either. My "therapist" was standing there smiling and nodding. I had to basically sign what happened and my tone was obviously not happy so they started to understand. A man came to the front who overheard what I'd been trying to explain and told them for me. They still seemed "meh" about it. They certainly took my money - but then she asked if I wanted to leave a tip. Are you kidding?! It doesn't matter WHAT language you speak you should know what's professional and what is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. read more

I am in the army and just graduated Army Infantry School. Me and my friends celebrated by come to New Orleans. I am very sore from the past 14 weeks of hell and wanted a massage to relaxed my muscles. I call them and asked for a 25 min chair massage and they told me to come at 9pm. I showed up at 8:45pm. And she looked at me, said hold on. She went to the back and for about 5 mins all I heard was the staff and her talking and laughing. She came back and told me that they could not service me and told me to go else where. I don't recommend this place at all and am very upset. read more

My boyfriend and I called and got a last min appointment for a Swedish and foot massage. The place is new and very clean. It was a great spot and we will be back again for sure. read more

Went for an hour massage. Massage was extremely rough and not relaxing. Table had just a sheet and a towel on it. I don't think they change the linen since i could still smell the previous customer's cologne on the face rest. The woman talked on her cell phone at least 6 times throughout the massage... on speaker phone. She also ran out of the room to greet people coming in the door. Then as she was checking me out she demanded I tip more than I did and as I declined she snatched the paper and pen up and threw it behind the counter. I was gobsmacked. Definitely won't be back and will be checking my bank account just in case. read more

I've been here a few times and never had a bad experience. Staff is friendly, inside is clean and pleasant, also prices are affordable. You can get a relaxing and professional massage here; highly recommended. Also, they are very accommodating. I've went in near close one night and they still provided service to me for 60 minutes. Try this place, you will like. read more

My boyfriend and I were looking for a last minute couples massage. After calling around to a bunch of places, we came across Asian Magical and they were able to get us in. The place is very very clean! Therapists were great! One of the best massages we have had in a while for a great price! We will be back! read more

I have tried this massage for a few times. The place is quite nice, but the service is just so so. The lady requests at least $20 tip for one hour massage. read more
