Chuy's is my all time favorite Tex-mex restaurant to grab a bite at during my time away in Florida. Featuring a very full menu that satisfies all of your south of the border recipes, there's something for everyone to bite into. My favorite savory appetizer comes free with their creamy jalapeño dipping sauce for your tortilla chips. Their frozen margaritas are some of the cheapest and best values in the area as well. Be sure to grab a tshirt on your way out as well, they're always changing! Enjoy! read more

My advice is "go somewhere else." Food took 40 mins to come out and was not good at all. My son's burger had a piece of plastic packaging cooked into it. We asked them to make him another burger but I was surprised a manager didn't stop by to address it at all. The tables all around us sat with dishes on them during our entire hour+ meal. They are clearly understaffed. I can't imagine this location will remain open; I won't be sad to see it go. Terrible experience. read more

Horrible food, i did not think it was possible to mess up Tex Mex, but this restaurant excelled at that. Service was good and ambiance is good read more

Sinceramente no iría a comer otra vez allí. La comida es regular, el sitio huele a comida como si estuvieras tú mismo cocinando allí en la estufa. No me gustó. read more

Chuy's is tex- mex type food. The inside reminded me of a carnival. ( not your typical Mexican type restaurant) The fajitas were very dry. (Steak and chicken) the soft tortillas were fresh but had a ton of flour all over them. The enchiladas were good. The service was absolutely HORRIBLE. The young lady we had struggled from the beginning to the end. - forgot one of our margaritas ( had to remind her after 15 minutes) - places food down with wrong ppl (there was only two of us and two dishes) - never came to check on us once our food was down. - asked her for a plate to make the fajitas on and she came back empty handed - 3/4 of our way done with our meal and both our mouths were on fire and out of water. (Has to suck on ice until we finally flagged her down) Only giving a 2 because the enchiladas were good. We will not be returning to Chuy's. read more

We were in the area and looking for something for lunch. My companion said they wanted a burrito so I started listing all the places in the area that we could go. When I said Chuy's they said it sounded good as it had been a while since we had their food. The parking garage by this location was a new thing for me but it was fairly convenient. Upon entering we were greeted in a reasonable time and seated promptly. I took a few to peruse the menu to see what would be good this visit. My companion got the Chuyichanga which is their usual. Since I have never had one I decided to try it too. I asked which was the hottest sauce they had, and it was the Hatch Green Chili I got. We enjoyed some chips and salsa along with the jalapeno white sauce which was all excellent. I really like that they have the really thin chips. You just have to be careful scooping with them so they don't break. When our food arrived it looked fantastic and I forgot to get pictures. They let us know that the plates were really hot and that helps keep the food a good temperature while you eat. During the course of our meal our server came by to see how everything was and I made a verbal faux pa. I told them it was really good but that I like it 'hotter'. What I really meant was that I like it 'spicier'. They proceeded to go off to get the manager to apologize to us and reprimand the kitchen. Thankfully she came to talk to us first and I was able to divine the mistake and head them off from giving the kitchen a good talking to. We ended up having a long discussion about spicy food and some other topics. She did bring me some samples of some of the sauces so I could see if any of them were 'hotter' to my taste. I ended up putting a couple of them plus some of the salsa on my chimichanga and is was even better. I must say that we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and I felt they went above and beyond in making sure we were happy with everything. In the end our server came over and I apologized for not being clearer and we had a good laugh over it. read more

Couldn't ask for better tasting and cooked food. I had the fajita combo. That thing comes jam packed with mouth watering flavor. I still taste it now. I might go back tomorrow. Lol. Chloe was my waitress. She did a great job. And she had those happy hour drinks flowing. Don't think because it's happy hour the drinks didn't pack a punch because they sure did have me buzzed. Very relaxing environment and experience. And do try the sample platter with sauces for the complementary chips. read more

Amazing take out. My favorite Mexican in the neighborhood. Always reasonably priced and good service. Get that green sauce!

Consistently good food but their serving size leaves me still hungry when I finish. Fran and I decided to leave them off our list of places to eat. read more

I just love how fresh their chips and salsa are. We always ask for some sauces on the side. The boom boom and creamy tomatillo also go really well with the fresh chips. I had a Grand Ma's Margarita, it was perfect, then a house strawberry Margarita once happy hour started. You can't go wrong with any of their margaritas. My picky toddler loved her cheese quesadilla and fries. I wanted to try something different this time so I had chicken enchiladas. My husband had my usual favorite combo fajitas. We all really enjoyed our meals, Chuy's never disappoints! read more

First time at a Chuy's in Florida. Did not disappoint. We enjoyed our lunch and had a really sweet waitress. She accidentally put me down for an enchilada instead of a relleno. It wasn't a big deal as they got my correct order out timely. She still offered us a card for a free queso because she felt I had to wait a long time for my correct order. We don't have issues at Chuy's ever. They take care of their customers! We'll be back! I love the hatch green chilie sauce. It's spicy but so good. read more

This is a really neat area. Lots of interesting places to try but we wanted to try a chain we don't normally get to eat at that was casual. This place was super busy but they seated us right away. Chips and dip came out immediately. The red salsa is about medium spicy and heavy with an onion taste. The other standard sauce was a creamy jalapeño. It was very smooth and maybe a mild on the scale. The food was quickly prepared and brought out (our waitress was really hustling!). My little guy who is super picky ate most of his plate and they brought out chocolate ice cream which was included. My fajitas were good. They included a lot of bell peppers when most usually just include a heavy amount of onions. The tortillas were thicker than normal (think naan bread texture and thickness). The only thing that was just kind of ok was the rice. It was fluffy and thick but relatively dry. My wife loved it though. She also likes the cheese enchilada and chose to top it with a deluxe tomatillo sauce. Overall it was very good and our waitress was awesome. We would do it again. read more

Large portions, great drinks, and very friendly and accommodating staff. Came in with a party of 4 adults and a baby on a Saturday night. The waiter seated us towards the back and made sure we had enough elbow room as we had a toddler that wasn't big enough for a booster seat yet. We ordered a side of queso and guac for the house chips that were delicious (devoured before I could get a picture). From the drink menu we had the King's Punch as well as a frozen watermelon margarita and some tequila shots. Both the Punch and frozen margarita were pretty strong, definitely not watered down. King's Punch was a bit sweeter than expected and the frozen watermelon was a bit more bitter. I had combination platter #5, that was a chicken chalupa and chicken enchilada. While the portion was large, the food was nothing out of this world. The chicken lacked flavor and the enchilada was dry. Thankfully, the tres leches dessert was just the sweet dessert we needed. A local advised we couldn't leave without trying it. Tres leches is a very sweet dessert, so with the large portion, it is definitely meant to be shared. The cherry on top for Chuy's was the memorabilia that was for sale at the front of the restaurant. Very cute and puny tshirts as well as caps, plus they happened to be on sale, so we couldn't resist. We bought a Juan Solo t-shirt and the last tiny taco cap! Chuy's also gets extra creativity points for the bar decor; framed pictures of pups and the trunk of a '59 or '60 Impala. read more

We sat outside on the patio and although the server was busy, she was very attentive. The menu had a good options and I always get the enchiladas and they were very delicious. Had an amazing time food was good the kids loved everything. Had amazing service. Thank you will be back.

Good service, good food, good atmosphere! Headed here after hitting the nearby spin bar. We sat on the patio since nighttime is cool enough now, and they have fans! Our server was out in a couple of minutes to grab drinks. He let us know about the new white sangria, we both tried it and loved it! For food I had the taco salad, hubs had the #6. Both were made to order and tasted good. I opted to top my salad with the fajita steak. I think I'll do the chicken next go. The steak was just a touch chewy, but the flavor was great. If you have been to the one by the airport, the vibe is the same, with Fiesta style deco all around. They have tons of cute and funny shirts that they sell, so check those out too! Overall: A Solid experience and glad to have one closer than the airport! read more

First time at Chuy's tonight and it won't be the last. Always a little skeptical of franchise food especially trying to find vegan options but Chuy's delivered a tasty vege fajita and avocado tacos that were delicious. Refried beans and rice were also excellent and vegan too. A lot of discussion in the reviews relative the fresh flour tortillas, I'm in the positive camp. Loved them. Service was OK and food arrived in good time. Thought dinner for 4 + tip $60 was very reasonable. Glad we gave Chuy's a try and looking forward to more vegan Tex Mex. read more

Solid Mexican place in town! Was visiting and my family recommended this place for some Mexican. I ordered the chicken fajitas for one. Delicious! I was given way to much chicken! And so freshly moist cooked! Just amazing! We also had the queso as an appetizer and it was plenty for the four of us. I also had the house margarita which was really delicious and refreshing. My only complaint would be the chips, I feel like they are super fragile. When I dipped into the queso they kept breaking. read more

This is my second time eating here. It really is very good. I seriously love their white salsa or whatever it is called. It is very delicious a must start with before your meal. It's a good thing that I can't buy it in stores or make it. That would be very dangerous . The restaurant staff is so very on top of things and they're always making sure that things are okay with you. The waiter we had seemed to really in the ball. He was always running around taking care of his tables. The Mexican rice, that was really tasty. The flavor was really in point with this Mexican rice. Then you have the Frijoles, which are just as amazing and it completes the rice and brings everything together for a perfect side dish. We had the Delux Chicken Enchiladas and that was a bit of a let down this time around. The chicken was very dry and didn't have much flavor to it. That was the first time that it had happened. Usually they're very moist and are loaded with flavor. My mom and I were really looking forward to having the Tres leches cake. It is her favorite cake. We were disappointed to find out when we went to order it that there was none. I guess the oven had broken down. Still feeling missed out about that. One of the main reasons we stopped in was for that deseret. All in all was a decent visit. Just a couple of misses this time, but still a great place to get some decent Mexican Food and not get gouged. I know we will be back again though. If you haven't eaten here abs enjoy Mexican food this is the place to come. You'll be glad that you did. read more

If you learn anything ask for the complimentary jalapeño white sauce. They'll give you chips and salsa, but ask for the white sauce. It'll change your life. I've been to Chuy's in TX, but never in FL so I was looking forward to it. We had an AMAZING server Roselyn (sp). We had a conversation with her about her brother Ivan always stealing her leftovers. It nice to have a server actually take the time out to have a real conversation with you just not forced small talk. Now onto the food. Holy cow. The portion sizes are HUGE! As usual my eyes are bigger than my stomach and I ordered the Elvis Presley Memorial combo. I took most of it home, but my favorite was the cheese quesadilla. So gooey and delicious. My boyfriend got the sirloin burrito and was amazed how big it was. Needless to say it was also boxed, lol. Last, but certainly not least the margaritas. Yummy! Just enough liquor to mixer ratio. Chuy's will be my go to spot when I'm feeling like a big cheat day! read more

I visited the Winter Park location and boy, the decor was interesting :-). For those who like this sort of thing, it is the sort of thing they like. To be transparent, i'm not a chain restaurant guy, I'm not a noisy, sombrero-wearing drinking guy. I don't love crowded and more isn't better. However. I can't complain about a nacho bar. It's good--good crispy chips and evil chili con queso. If you like super American chain Tex Mex, it's good. My son and his girlfriend love it here and judging by the crowd, so do a lot of other people. Me? I probably won't return but if they would bring me some of that chili con queso and chips I would eat it happily. read more

Chuy's is one of the few Mexican food chains that I really like. Everything is made fresh and they have ten signature sauces. Their tortillas are delicious and the salsa is amazing. I'm not sure what the garlicky white sauce is but I always ask for it. On my last visit I ordered the Chuychunga. Ninety five percent of the time I ordered this entree. The fresh pulled white meat chicken with green chilies, cilantro and cheese is my favorite dish. My husband ordered the Relleno & Enchilada. Both were very good but the relleno batter turned out a little greasy this time. The service was good and the restaurant was clean. We enjoyed the free chips with salsa and added Queso. read more

My favorite chain TexMex place! The restaurant is decorated so cool. There's one room done in hubcaps and car parts. Things to look at all around. Once you are seated they bring you homemade chips which are delish! And I LOVE their Jalapeno Ranch sauce! The dishes vary from "traditional" types (tacos/ burritos ect.) to more creative dishes. I almost always get the Elvis Green Chile Fried Chicken and you can chose which sauce comes on it to help manage the heat factor for people like me who don't do super spicy foods! A fun place to take a group or go for date night. The staff have always been nice and service great! read more

Food is always good Chuy Rita's are always good but they do close super early at 9pm and the waitstaff will lie to you if it's 8:00pm to 8:30pm that there's a 45 minute wait time when clearly there isn't. was told the wait time and not even 10 minutes later I was seated. Hostess will walk around the restaurant and ignore the guests coming in to eat at the podium if it's after 8:00pm My jalapeño sauce and my queso had old chips in it. and they skimp you on the queso! I come here often and see this everytime I'm here. your restaurant doesn't close when you wanna go home. if you don't like your job work somewhere else. Went to this restaurant for my birthday and I absolutely loved the vibe, the food and the drinks. Service was very attentive and overall I definitely recommend if you like authentic Mexican food. read more

What if I told you that Chuy's was the best Mexican in town? Well, that's exactly what I'm doing because this place is bomb. The frozen house margarita and fresh, crunchy chips should start you off, but sub the salsa for the cool jalapeño for the chips and dip equivalent of crack. Next, move on to the enchiladas. I am a HUGE fan of their stacked enchiladas or their pulled chicken (so juicy and tender and flavorful) but have also heard the chicka chicka boom boom is out of this world. If you are feeling bold, skip the enchiladas and get the fajitas. Tender steak, moist chicken marinated in Shiner Bock, with rice, beans, HANDMADE tortillas and a smattering of sides--it is truly a delight! Now, the service is good and the patio is enjoyable (a little loud though, it's right on 17-92) but the food really is incomparable and the prices right, especially because you can usually have leftovers. Every date night we end up here and are never disappointed! read more

My husband loved his and I detested mine. Oddly, for Tex Amex you would think they would offer more than two vegetarian options. I took the enchiladas and couldn't eat them and the refried beans are NOT vegetarian. About an hour after eating a few, I was so sick, like food poisoning. The service was just barely adequate. Not impressed at all. read more

Once again, I personally am not a fan of chains. But hey! Good food, is good food. Decided to give it a shot due to friend's recommendations and was very pleased. It was packed and didn't have a reservation or anything, so there was a wait. No big deal. We were seated quicker then told, which nobody ever complains about. So already off to a great start. Even though packed and busy, it was so clean!!! Tables, floors, staff and so on. Once seated our waiter Olivia was attentive and efficient. Being that the place was packed, she deserves a 5 stars. Excellent service. Food portions were large and shockingly inexpensive for the amount. The food itself was tasteful, but overall your Americanized Latin inspired foods. I would recommended if you want an inexpensive and filling meal outside the house. I resist giving a full five stars only as the food itself was not particularly unique. Once again, worth the money, filling, and clean. read more

I'm not a constant customer of Chuy's and this experience was not much of a supporting experience to want to return. The staff was having a bad day. The table was not fully cleaned and the floor was dirty too. The waiter was nice, but you could tell that they were off center. We ordered some chips, salsa, guacamole and queso. It took a long time to come out even though the place was fairly empty. I did not like the queso. Please stop putting taco seasoning in your queso! The chips were salty. Mega salty. So much that we were using our napkins to wipe off the excess. The dips have enough salt. We don't need any more. We gave our main orders and waited, and waited, and waited, and waited. We went through so many chips that we were full by the time the order came out. The meal was OK, but it wasn't anything great. I think that I've had some Stouffer's frozen meals that were just as good or better. Overall we weren't pleased with the experience. I don't ever want to go back. It just wasn't worth the effort. read more
