Amazing service! I went with a group of friends and although we were loud and obnoxious we were still given top notch service. Our waiter overheard us talking about how hungry and thirsty we were becaus we were fasting due to it being the month of Ramadan. And as a result, our waiter made sure we always had full drinks and chips and salsa. Service was extremely nice and understanding! I would definitely come again! Oh my. I will never eat here again! First it took 25 minutes to get a table. We finally got sat and I ordered queso and got queso with no chips. I didn't like the salsa, I could smell the cilantro from the salsa. I ordered a ground beef burrito and didn't like the meat inside. This is my first time here. It was recommended to me at the outlet mall. His place is awesome. Packed at 2:30 in the afternoon. Numerous sauces to try. Living in virtually nowhere Louisiana this was a great experience. Although they have other locations the food quality did not taste factory made. I ordered the Chuychanga and it was big and the waitstaff at the bar was very helpful and I received two types of sauce to try. Usually I go to chuy's when I crave a good petition of enchiladas. I always get the queso so addicting it makes me forget I have food coming. The staff is pretty friendly but not too personal. I usually go for the green Chile rice though because the Mexican rice is pretty bland and dry. And if you're struggling between refried beans and charro beans I say go refried. Me and my small group came in for a quick dinner before we had to make our meeting at 8:00. We walked in at 7:00 and are leaving now at 7:32. We walked in and said we needed to be out by 7:40 and our waitress Rose said okay let's go and was amazing the whole time. They even forgot to put one girls food on the tray and she made them remake it so she didn't have to eat cold food. I really like this place. It's simple with a lot of flavor. I'm addicted to their chips, queso, and salsa. The servers are one of the nicest and funnest! I don't have any specific suggestions, because I honestly like it all! The only thing I would change about it would be that the happy hour nacho bar needed some help done to it. This use to be a great place. However, last night went beyond the pale. We were told there was about a 15 minute wait for 2. After 30 minutes, we watched as several parties that arrived after us were seated. When we inquired with the host how much longer it would be before we were seated, he replied that were were "coming up." Immediately after this, another party of 2 who just arrived, were immediately seated. It appeared that the host knew many of the parties that he was seating, so we concluded that since we were not in his social circle, we would only be seated as a last resort. However, a waitress by the name of Lily W. needs to be trained on how to be professional. My Hubby and I went to have dinner for our usual date night. We ordered 2 watermelon margarita's and 2 waters while looking at the menu. This was my hubby's first time and my first time was one week prior where Dalton explained the menu to me so thoroughly that I had to come back. This time Lily W was our waitress. From hello you could tell she did not want to wait on us. Once our drinks arrived she asked if we were ready to order. My hubby stated "No not just yet but can we get the water we ordered with the drinks?" She stormed off returned and then asked my husband in a real F'ed up tone "You ready now???" This made us both look at each other and then asked if she could explain the menu as I told her about Dalton and his EXCELLENT Service. She quickly explained the menu in such a dry tone, which was NO help at all, took our order and the rest of the night acted as if we were holding her up. This bothered me so That I called and spoke with the manager Craig who not only remembered us by the food we ordered, but he also took the time to apologies and make us now want to return. From the minute you walk in this place you relax and have fun. The decor is very funky with Elvis and hubcaps everywhere! They have a separate bar area that colds a happy hour buffet outta the back of an old car! The wait staff is all very sweet and helpful! I had a Sirloin Burrito. Man are they big.
