I tried the Paneer Mahkni and butter chicken, and it was a lot sweeter than other Indian restaurants... not sure if that was on purpose or not. I make butter chicken at home a lot, so I'm pretty good at picking out the different flavors in it. The naan bread was pretty good, I didn't see any kulcha on the menu tho. Maybe they have it on special order, who knows.

Well, their website, right on the home page, it says delivery. When we asked if the food was cold, they said that if it was, they were not going to reheat it. So, I contacted American Express to chargeback the order. The look and feel of the place says it is going to go out of business.

They have two other locations (another in Kelowna and one in Lake Country). We dropped in on a Thursday (around 8:30pm). No dine in so we grabbed our order to go. We were quoted a 20 minute wait but it was closer to 10. The menu consists of meat, veg, appetizers, rice and bread, salad and desserts. We were asked how spicy we wanted our order and opted for medium. - Spinach naan ($3.00) - a touch soft in texture but the spinach was plentiful and tasty. - Basmati rice ($2.00) - good amount especially for the price. - Lamb saag ($14.00) - we always enjoy the lamb spinach combination. Decent but the flavour was lacking and the lamb was slightly overcooked. - Goat curry ($15.00) - this was the better of the two entrees. Goat was tender and the curry was much more satisfying. Portions are a good size and we had leftovers for the next day. Made in India was decent Indian fare but we weren't blown away.

Absolutely love it here…read more The service is always so welcoming and kind. It's a small restaurant but very pretty inside. A combination of booths and tables. A Flavorful Find If you're looking for an authentic Indian…read moredining experience, this spot is a fantastic choice. The menu is incredibly extensive, offering a deep dive into traditional flavors that go well beyond the standard fare. Ordered the Fish Vindaloo. It was portioned perfectly for one person, a rarity that makes solo dining much more enjoyable. While I requested the dish with spice level "hot" and it arrived closer to a "medium" spice level, it still packed an appreciable amount of heat that didn't compromise the complex, vinegary tang the dish is known for. The service made this exhausted traveler feel welcome. Ramandeep was attentive and friendly, ensuring everything was well-timed without being overbearing. Highlights: Atmosphere: The vibe is great both inside and out, making it suitable for a relaxed dinner or a more upbeat evening. Convenience: If you are staying in a nearby hotel, it's a very easy, short walk. Authenticity: This is clearly "legit" cooking, with quality ingredients and traditional techniques.

But we did appreciate that the wine prices were very good. Since it's grown in our own back yards, and often restaurants are way over charging for a glass of wine. Making me forgo it altogether, til I get home. Big thumbs up there too! And also, he was slow to remove the dirty plates. Seemed to spend a lot of time in the back. And doesn't seem to be bringing anything out etc. And there was only two other tables of two people each. So he wasn't running off his feet, or anything to make up for his absents. Anyways over all it was great. And if the waiter was a more attentive then I would have been completely satisfied. But he was polite and eager to help when he was around. Although it's a little dated it seemed clean. That's important. At least what I could see anyways. I google mapped this location and it kept taking me around the block. Did the same for our friends we were meeting there. Might want to fix that.

The aromas from the kitchen were incredibly wonderful and we could hardly wait to order. We got the Tandoori chicken, the chicken Vindaloo, the Raita (yogurt + shredded cucumber and seasonings), along with rice and Naan, plus Mango lassi. Everything was really special and delicious. The Tandoori chicken came from the kitchen ripping hot, crackling and sizzling. What a sight, and what an amazing flavor. The breast meat tends to be drier, and that is where the raita comes into play as a dip for the drier meat..amazing. The vindaloo was just spot on as hot/spicy as requested. Fluffy rice and hot naan rounded out the splendid meal. Our seating was great and the establishment was not crowded at all at the hour we ate. Wait staff were very attendant to us w/o being pests.
