Really good buffet and great value. Good service and a nice clean place. I'm here for lunch at least once a week.

It was a good lunch. Not enough of a variety though. Samosas were missing. But overall everything was tasty.

Service was very attentive, without being overbearing. As per our M.O., we wanted to try a sampling of everything, but we settled on a number of dishes. All the food was excellent and we'd highly recommend you try your favorite dishes here. We had the beef samosas, lamb saag, and tandoori chicken which were all very good. We also had the Palak paneer, which was ammmmazing. I eat a lot of spinach paneer, and Lachi's is in my top three all time favourites. Their flavour profile was great: complex, yet balanced. I can't wait to go back and have some more.

The inside is spacious with plenty of tables. Our server wasn't talkative but came by several times to refill ones to refill our waters. The menu is typical Indian fare but we were here to try their lunch specials (available until 2:30pm). Their dinner special ($32.95 for 2) seems like a great deal. We were asked how spicy we wanted our meal (we opted for medium). - Aloo gobi adraki ($9.95) - more of a home style, comforting take on aloo gobi. Plenty of rice and the naan (sprinkled with parsley) was fresh. - Lamb saag ($11.95) - it's an extra $1.00 to substitute for lamb/beef but totally worth it. Lamb was tender and included a couple of chunks. Satisfying, tasty eats at Lachi. Will be back for more next time we're in town.

The lighting and decor was very modern, trendy, and intimate, with spacious enough seating to be comfortable. The food.. was divine. Hot, fresh, vibrant, and clearly made with love. For the price it was a good deal, as well - we ordered the Dinner for 2, for around 50$, which came with 4 pieces of tandoori chicken, some rice, some hot naan, butter chicken, Chana masala, and dessert. They gave us a choice of rice pudding or gulab jamun, and let us have one of each! The naan was fresh, hot, crisp, and delicious, while being soft and buttery. The butter chicken was smooth, with a decent amount of chicken pieces, without bone, and a mild flavour one would expect. The channa masala was flavourful, cooked perfectly, and had a nice kick to it. The rice was flavoured and seasoned with turmeric and carrot slices making it so pretty and so aromatic at the same time. The tandoori chicken was wetter than I'm used to, due to the marinade being cooked with the chicken, but my gosh was it flavourful! We got it medium spice and it was just perfection. Not too spicy but hot enough, and just the right seasoning to be delicious through and through. The rice pudding was cool and decent, and the gulab Jamun was hot and absolutely fire! 10/10, will definitely go here again next time we visit Osoyoos. It's a no brainer!

The inside is massive but we were the only people dining in. They were playing an interesting mix of music (wasn't expecting Indian EDM, but it turned more chill after). The menu is extensive but we were here to try their lunch thalis (only available weekdays from 11:00am to 2:30pm). We were asked how spicy we wanted our dishes (mild, medium or hot); we opted for medium. - Veggie pakoras ($5.00) - you get 10 pieces with two sauces. Pakoras were crunchy and not too greasy. Both sauces were great, especially the green chutney. - Non-vegetarian thali ($11.99) - chicken korma, dal, vegetable balti, rice, salad and naan. There was a good amount of chicken and the sauce was well balanced. The dal had a hint of heat (think potentially from the gunpowder). The vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, peas, potato) were decent. Liked the carrots that were included as part of their Indian green salad. Basket of naan was fresh and plentiful. - Vegetarian thali ($11.99) - the only change here was palak paneer in place of the chicken korma. Spinach was tasty but wish they gave you more. We'll be back next time to try their momos.

As far ambiance, it's a relatively small restaurant with India / Nepal landscape pictures on the wall. Tidy and very clean. The ambiance won't woo you, but the food certainly will.
