Well, their website, right on the home page, it says delivery. When we asked if the food was cold, they said that if it was, they were not going to reheat it. So, I contacted American Express to chargeback the order. The look and feel of the place says it is going to go out of business.

They have two other locations (another in Kelowna and one in Lake Country). We dropped in on a Thursday (around 8:30pm). No dine in so we grabbed our order to go. We were quoted a 20 minute wait but it was closer to 10. The menu consists of meat, veg, appetizers, rice and bread, salad and desserts. We were asked how spicy we wanted our order and opted for medium. - Spinach naan ($3.00) - a touch soft in texture but the spinach was plentiful and tasty. - Basmati rice ($2.00) - good amount especially for the price. - Lamb saag ($14.00) - we always enjoy the lamb spinach combination. Decent but the flavour was lacking and the lamb was slightly overcooked. - Goat curry ($15.00) - this was the better of the two entrees. Goat was tender and the curry was much more satisfying. Portions are a good size and we had leftovers for the next day. Made in India was decent Indian fare but we weren't blown away.

Korma had a mix of vegetables, sauce was creamy - Non-vegetarian lunch ($13.95 regular) - naan, chicken curry, chana masala and aloo gobi. Chicken was tender. Ambience was nice and quiet, not loud or crowded, spacious when we came in for lunch! Only thing I'd say was a miss for me personally was the paneer masala.

Given the name of this restaurant, we weren't sure what to expect from their menu -- traditional…read moreSouth Indian dosas or French crepes or both. It's definitely far more of the former with an extensive menu of dosa, idly, vada, sambar, biryani, and curries. The crepes portion of the menu was limited to only 4 choices - plain sweet; banana chocolate; mixed berry; and mango maple. There are also dosa pizzas, rice biryani dishes, and more. I ordered the very good butter chicken dosa (4/5) with a side of potato masala (5/5). The taste of the butter chicken was excellent but the quantity of the curry in the dosa was quite small. The Dosa also came with 4 sides -- a sambar (lentil-based vegetable soup, 5/5)), coconut chutney (5/5), red chili sauce (4/5 for my husband; 1/5 for me. Too spicy!), and a bland coleslaw (1/5). My husband ordered the vegetable dosa (3/5), which also came with the same sides. The taste of the filling was good, but was somewhat mushy/overcooked. Pros: (1) extensive menu of both traditional South Indian menu items; (2) availability of some creative, non-traditional fillings for dosas, such as spinach or beef BBQ; (3) large selection of beverages, from Masala tea, to lassis, to beer; and (4) good prices, especially for an area with a lot of tourists. Cons: (1) we visited around 7 pm and the one waitress, while pleasant and responsive, was clearly insufficient staffing. She was running to-and-fro doing everything but also wasn't able to bus some of the tables. (2) not the fault of the restaurant, but there were a few individuals who were behaving erratically hanging around the front of the restaurant who came in and out of the restaurant a few times.

The inside is massive but we were the only people dining in. They were playing an interesting mix of music (wasn't expecting Indian EDM, but it turned more chill after). The menu is extensive but we were here to try their lunch thalis (only available weekdays from 11:00am to 2:30pm). We were asked how spicy we wanted our dishes (mild, medium or hot); we opted for medium. - Veggie pakoras ($5.00) - you get 10 pieces with two sauces. Pakoras were crunchy and not too greasy. Both sauces were great, especially the green chutney. - Non-vegetarian thali ($11.99) - chicken korma, dal, vegetable balti, rice, salad and naan. There was a good amount of chicken and the sauce was well balanced. The dal had a hint of heat (think potentially from the gunpowder). The vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, peas, potato) were decent. Liked the carrots that were included as part of their Indian green salad. Basket of naan was fresh and plentiful. - Vegetarian thali ($11.99) - the only change here was palak paneer in place of the chicken korma. Spinach was tasty but wish they gave you more. We'll be back next time to try their momos.

The menu is incredibly extensive, offering a deep dive into traditional flavors that go well beyond the standard fare. Ordered the Fish Vindaloo. It was portioned perfectly for one person, a rarity that makes solo dining much more enjoyable. While I requested the dish with spice level "hot" and it arrived closer to a "medium" spice level, it still packed an appreciable amount of heat that didn't compromise the complex, vinegary tang the dish is known for. The service made this exhausted traveler feel welcome. Ramandeep was attentive and friendly, ensuring everything was well-timed without being overbearing. Highlights: Atmosphere: The vibe is great both inside and out, making it suitable for a relaxed dinner or a more upbeat evening. Convenience: If you are staying in a nearby hotel, it's a very easy, short walk. Authenticity: This is clearly "legit" cooking, with quality ingredients and traditional techniques.
