We ordered on their website for delivery. We have used them many times before. After waiting an hour and a half, we didn't receive the food or a call (?), so we called, and they said that they don't "do" delivery, they only offer pickup. Well, their website, right on the home page, it says delivery. When we asked if the food was cold, they said that if it was, they were not going to reheat it. So, I contacted American Express to chargeback the order. The look and feel of the place says it is going to go out of business. read more

We hadn't ate a real meal all day and it was getting late so we decided to try Made in India. It's in a small plaza that houses a couple other small businesses. They have two other locations (another in Kelowna and one in Lake Country). We dropped in on a Thursday (around 8:30pm). No dine in so we grabbed our order to go. We were quoted a 20 minute wait but it was closer to 10. The menu consists of meat, veg, appetizers, rice and bread, salad and desserts. We were asked how spicy we wanted our order and opted for medium. - Spinach naan ($3.00) - a touch soft in texture but the spinach was plentiful and tasty. - Basmati rice ($2.00) - good amount especially for the price. - Lamb saag ($14.00) - we always enjoy the lamb spinach combination. Decent but the flavour was lacking and the lamb was slightly overcooked. - Goat curry ($15.00) - this was the better of the two entrees. Goat was tender and the curry was much more satisfying. Portions are a good size and we had leftovers for the next day. Made in India was decent Indian fare but we weren't blown away. read more

My family and I were visiting from out of town and went here for the first time, the service was great and the food was amazing. We all left very full, with leftovers to spare! read more

Flavorful, authentic, good service. Delicious naan bread, rich curry, samosa was brightly flavored, very fresh-tasting, and not heavy. Small strip-mall location, minimal decor with just 4 or 5 tables - 90% of their business is takeout. read more

Visiting from Oregon, just wanted a quick meal. This location doesn't have a lot of seating, but the food was very good. I had the chicken tikka masala. The sauce was very creamy and full of flavor, the chicken was very tender and the saffron rice was just right. read more

Ummm ... wow! We've never had butter chicken made with Campbell's tomato soup before. You might think we're kiddin' but NO indeed. Reasonable amount of chicken but what's the point of calling it butter chicken when it literally is chicken in tomato soup. I know restaurants are trying to figure out survival strategies but cutting back like this? Also ordered fish pakora. Was so salty that we couldn't tolerate it. Wanted to enjoy since it's so rare that we order for pick-up. Paid $36. Basmati rice and garlic naan were 'just' ok. Benvoulin and KLO Rd location in Kelowna is take-out only. Maybe try somewhere else if you want any kind of authenticity. Also, I just can't help myself ... this walk-in location was disgustingly dirty. Floor, door, windows and sticky countertop. Not going to happen again. read more

Great food, great flavours. Little restaurant but great service. An order of one naan is enough for 2 or 3 people. We had the chicken buna and lamb roegan. Both ordered extra hot. The spice level was perfect. The flavours bold and complete. Big chunks of meat in both dishes. Ordered the jasmine rice, a must have. read more

.Well worth finding: Oyama location is a small frontage in a mall behind an A&W. We did take-out, like most customers. Quantity and quality were excellent value for approx. $15.00/dish. read more

Got the food delivered to my dive hotel at 1 minute before I requested. The delivery person was very nice & the food delivered was hot & excellent. I had butter chicken, rice, mango lassie & papadom(?). The review would have been a 5 Star but the chicken was cut into large cubes & was a little dry. Other than that, I was completely satisfied read more

Not the best food. Was pretty bland and not spicy at all. Not sure about the reviews.

I recently ordered from Made in India and had it delivered. I used their online ordering and it was great. The food arrived on time and was excellent. I'll definitely order again. Thanks read more

Ordered online.. check how much your actually paying it automatically adds a tip...the only reason I even double checked it was I wanted to make sure that the order went through...I'm not a cheap person but let me decide how much I want to tip if any read more

We asked our host about a good restaurant in Kelowna and she suggested this. This is a very small restaurant. When we went in, it was just the two of us. We ordered Palak Paneer, Shahi Paneer and rice. We were not sure of the spice level so asked if the medium would be spicy. Since we were told it would be we went with mild . Mild shahi paneer tasted like paneer in tomato ketchup. Palak paneer tasted good. read more

Very small room if you're thinking of dining in. The food is excellent and the service attentive and knowledgeable. Five of us went and were accommodated creatively and promptly, even our request to have the A/C turned off was granted. Our server engaged in conversation with us and shared his extensive knowledge of the place which really enhanced our experience. The menu has more than enough options to find something for everyone and an honest effort was made to accommodate those averse to spicy. The Veg Pakora was outstanding as was the Veg Kadhai. Highly recommend you support this local business. read more

Let me start by saying I am not an Indian food officianado, but I truly enjoyed my meal tonight with the help of the hostess. Great introduction to Indian food. Casual, inviting and simple. read more

If we could give 0 stars, we would. We ordered for delivery and quoted us a time of 1 hour and 45 min. That was ok as we were willing to wait. They asked for our phone number and we gave it to them, however, two hours later, we decided to give them a call to see what the situation was. They said they knocked and called but we were paying attention to the phone the whole time and never heard any knocking. They said they were no longer willing to deliver to us. We ended up delivering pizza instead. I work in customer service and am usually pretty understanding, but this experience left a sour taste in my mouth. Would NOT recommend. read more

Amazing amounts of food! I had this delivered to me and I got two entrees and it lasted me two whole days.

The butter chicken was a bit too salty, but otherwise the food was good. My family and I ordered tons of take out, and there was more than enough for everyone. The fish tandoori is nice, the freshness is notable. Spiced well and enjoyable. read more

I got delivery from here. It was super quick, faster than they anticipated. I got chana masala, aloo gobhi, basmati rice, and garlic naan. So amazingly good. For what I paid, I got a TON of food. I have so far eaten three meals from this order and I still have some left. Naan was incredible. I love how the cauliflower in the aloo gobhi was cooked--perfect. Medium spiciness level was good, but I might up the spice next time. I am from out of town and my husband is coming here soon to join me--we will definitely be ordering again. Wow. read more

Love it here. Prices are good and food is made to order. You can call your order in ahead and go pick it up. I work nearby and so I can do that without wasting time. read more

Made in India was great! The menu was varied and dishes flavourful. Medium spicy was plenty. Popped in for lunch with a couple girlfriends. We had 3 veggie dishes and 1 meat dish, with garlic naan and rice and it was plenty. The onion bhaji appetizers were excellent. The staff was friendly, and the joint was very clean and fragrant. read more

Made in India - Indian Near Me - Kelowna, British Columbia

I can't believe the low ratings for this place! It's by far the beat Indian take out in Kelowna. Authentic, nicely spiced and very accommodating for a began diet. We also love their meat curries and naan. Its a gem! Haven't tried the new location but the one in the Mission is spot on every time. The eggplant curry is a particular favourite. Try it a judge for yourself. read more

Absolutely awful service. Ordered 2 butter chicken dishes, 2 sides of rice and two orders of garlic naan for delivery at 5:15 & was given an estimate of 45 minutes to 1 hour. After an hour and a half at 6:45 we called back because we still hadn't received our food. The woman on the phone claimed that the driver had said he had called us and knocked at the door but we had received zero phone calls nor had we had anyone at our door. She told us the driver would do more deliveries and then drop off our food. Half an hour later, still nothing and she gave us a new estimated wait time of an hour "tops". 3 hours for delivery? Are you serious? For a business that relies so heavily on take out and delivery as part of their income, you'd think they would be a little more on top of things. Incredibly disappointed. read more

Great service they deliver and the food was amazing at reasonable prices, and get the nan bread super good!!

My favourite Indian restaurant in Kelowna ! I love everything I have tried. Great curry and the price is very reasonable. Please make honey naan bread . Only one thing I don't like are the takeout containers, as they aren't very durable and the cardboard lids are very hard to put back on. read more

Delicious Fantastic food! Made In India is THE BEST Indian food in Kelowna! We do take-out from here and they also deliver free if you're within 5 km. Big portions...enough to take for lunches the next day! :-) :-) :-) read more

This was terribly fake Indian cuisine. Plus you have to pay extra for rice. So don't forget to order it like us...

Fantastic Indian food at a good price. I don't recommend dining in at Made In India with larger groups since there is only one rather small room. However, both take out and delivery are available and the food is worth it! read more

Good Indian food with tons of vegetarian options (and lots of vegan options too!). Great samosas, lots of rice in each order, and good curry! I would recommend spending the extra little bit and getting more than plain/buttered naan. read more

dropped in for a late lunch. Food was amazing. Everything was so fresh tasting, especially the naans and rotis. We ordered baingan bhartha and saag panneer. A tad bit spicy, but very well done and tasty, Service was superb. The hostess was very congenial and attentive. read more

This place is such a bummer because they could have the tastiest curries around but they use really cheap meat and it just kills the dish. The chicken is flavourless - it tastes like those frozen breasts that come in a box, and the lamb has this weird processed texture. The sauces are really awesome though, so maybe the vegetarian options would be good! read more

Whoa. This is some great food. The prices are extremely reasonable, the staff is super friendly and knowledgable and the restaurant is clean & smells delicious. Go now. Don't wait. They need some support (as the new kid on the block) and they'd appreciate it. read more
