Best experience I've had in the 13 years I've moved around Cali looking for haircuts. Anna, is now my go to at Chute 9. She is warm and welcoming and took her time making sure to ask several times if I was OK, happy, wanted anything done differently, etc. Everyone else in Cali acts like they know better, and they dont care what the client wants. Or, they can't do what you want and there-fore do what THEY want/can. Anna, is a gem and a delight. This young chick will go far in life if she keeps that wonderful, caring and welcoming personality. Not to say, also the talent of being capable of giving you what you ask for. I had a boring long flat cut. I wanted crazy rocker layers all over to bring my thin hair to life. A couple months ago, I paid $75 at a different near by place in Eastvale. The girl did nothing! I also just didnt like her attitude and that she had me waiting 45 minutes before my appointment, without saying a word to me. Seems to have been my constant experience since I've moved to Cali. Well, I hope this girl doesn't go anywhere. My new happy in the haircut world. . Thanks again so much for the great experience all around. And for also actually giving me what I asked for, along with great conversation and all at a reasonable price. Who would've known that could still exist? read more

Shelly is very nice and I really love the way she styled my hair. I will make appointments every month to have my hair done.

OKAY!!! I won't be able to thank Lily enough for fixing my hair! Got it done somewhere the previous week and it turned out to be my worse hair experience! I messaged Lily on Christmas day (yep, Christmas day, that's how desperate I was) to inquire. She answered right away, booked me for the following day and patiently answered all my questions. Day of service - Salon's really nice and clean by the way. Lily explained to me the process of what she's doing as we go and was very honest from the very beginning on what we can realistically achieve. Overall it took 3 hours, I never feel like she rushed it, actually it was the opposite. We were almost done but she spotted a spot where it's uneven and patiently fixed it. She made sure that I'm walking out of the salon satisfied. She could have really not mention that uneven spot since I didn't notice it but nope! She values her credibility that much, very rare for a young stylist. AGAIN, THANK YOU LILY FOR HELPING ME! It meant a lot! read more

Shelly is such a talented hair dresser .I found her on Yelp . My hair turned out so Beautiful for my elopement ro Italy.

Wow, this place is definitely worthy of its 5 star status!!! I've been scared to let anyone cut my hair since my hairdresser left the state 3 years ago and I've been trimming it myself since. My hair grows really slow, so a bad cut would be a nightmare. Shelley gave me exactly what I asked for and it looks amazing! She evened it up without cutting too much of the length. Definitely worth waiting a few weeks for this appointment. I also usually dread the small talk hairdressers make but ended up talking to Shelley during the whole cut. So happy I've found my new hairdresser! PS Sorry for the no makeup pic, it's my day off, lol. read more

Chute 9 Salon and Spa - My amazing haircut by Shelley - Hair Salons Near Me - Norco, California

I relocated to Eastvale and needed a new best in class hair stylist who was experienced in color, cut, and blonde highlights. I found her! located at Chute 9 Salon & Spa her name is Shelly, owner & Stylist. I was with my previous stylist for over 5 years and we all know the fear of getting a new person to do your hair. Shelly was so amazing, she has the most adorable, cute, warm and friendly personality and Salon. We hit it off immediately, she listened to what my needs were and then she worked her magic. Honestly she nailed my color, best ever, as was the cut...and what I really loved was the scalp massage and warm Turbin wrap. Shelly went the extra mile in taking care of my hair. I am a Nurse, I know what good care looks and feels like, she's the real deal, such a caring and personable person. I already booked a full highlight with her and will be a regular customer! I highly recommend her. Nurse Laurie read more

I can't recommend Michelle/Shelly and Chute 9 enough. Been a client for at least 12 years and now she's the only person my daughter will go to as well. We both have extremely curly and chaotic hair and Michelle ALWAYS knows just how to cut/color and maintain it. She uses only the cleanest of products. On top of her professionalism- she's just an amazing person to know! read more

Shelly at Chute 9 has been cutting my hair for about 9 years and I will never go to anyone else! She is the best! She listens to what I want and does just that, I always go home with exactly what I hoped for, which was not always the case with previous hair dressers I went to. She does an amazing job with color and does some kind of magic that even when my hair grows out, the roots aren't overly obvious. Shelly is kind, honest and fun to talk to! The salon is always clean, all the furniture is comfortable and it's just a nice place to spend a few hours being pampered! read more

Chute 9 Salon is a whole vibe. It's clean, relaxed, inviting and Michelle / Shelly is amazing! My girl, Shelly is the absolute best with blonde, she never burned my scalp or my hair and we've done every shade of blonde you can imagine over the years and throughout it all my hair has remained healthy and gorgeous. For the last 6 months or so I decided I want to let my natural color grow out and Shelly was more than happy to give me options of doing that in a way that doesn't make my hair look horrible while it's going through it's growing out process. If you are looking for someone dedicated, hard working, honest, dependable, friendly, knowledgeable and just overall outstanding she's your girl! read more

I have gone to Chute 9 for 10+ years. Shelly Rogers is honest, down to earth/easy to chat with (because that's a must when you're sitting in a stylist chair for any period of time) and most importantly, she is very experienced and knowledgeable. She knows her stuff and it's clear she continues her education with courses to keep up with industry trends and new techniques. She's honest and helps with ideas if you want a change but are not quite sure what that style change/color is! The salon itself is set back in a quiet space. It's relaxed, cozy, and very spacious. Even if others are in the salon, you don't feel like you're sitting on top of one another at all. There is an adorable, comfortable sitting area with access to drinks of all kinds, snacks and sweets. My daughter has also been many times for a cut and wash. It's great to be able to trust Shelly with her hair and feel comfortable with her interacting with my daughter. I look forward to my next appointment each time! read more

Update... Recently, I came back here for a touch up on my color, and I have nothing but GOOD things to say! Katherine was the one who did my hair this time and she did a amazing job. Im beyond happy with how it turned out. She's really kind and so friendly. She also told me about a shampoo that will help keep the purple on my hair longer. I got the shampoo, from Ulta Beauty, that was recommended and it works great! So thank you so much for that tip! ...This place is nice and well kept. It did kind of confuse me when, on the phone, I was told about their "new location" but was sent to the one I already had from my last visit. They say their "new location" still just incase you maybe a returning customers that doesn't know about it yet. So the big red barn is their new location. But my visits so far have all be great & I will definitely return to this salon. read more

I went there to get a perm. The person who did the perm half way through decided to tell me that she doesn't take credit cards. During our texting before my appt. She never mentioned that she only accepts some type of pymt app that i never heard of. Well about 1-1/2 hrs later, I paid her $200 + 20% tip. Was it worth it? NO. Did the perm turn out? I would say 75%. The top is flat and I'm not going back. To the owner's I would say that they need to tell their hairdressers to be upfront to their clients about how they accept payment. read more

I love going to Norco, and Chute 9 Salon. I'm blessed that the owner, Shelley, does my hair. She is a color genius! She is one of the fastest stylists I've ever gone to and the results are beautiful and let's just say, I leave always feeling that way too! She is available for other services as well, and her prices are fair and don't break me and my budget. Go there, worth the drive in the Inland Empire. read more

Love this place! First, it's soooo cute and very CLEAN (which is important for me). All the girls are so friendly and inviting. You feel like your hanging with your friends. So now let's get to the good stuff...I come here religiously for my lash extensions done by Shelly (been coming here for years now). You can't get better than her. I LOVE them every time! Then there is Shelly who does hair. If you're looking for someone who knows what they're doing, I highly recommend her! She can do what you're look for and do it correctly. This place is a gem! I went here for the first time on 5/31. I had purchase this amazing deal they were doing. I ended up getting the deal for my mom for Mothers day and i purchased one for myself so it could be like a mother-daughter type of thing. The package came with a hair cut and a facial. They both did a great job. I don't like to cut to much of my hair because i like it long and usually the places I got to argue with me to cut more. Obviously i know I need it but I don't want to. She didn't question me at all and did exactly as i wanted! The facial was one of the best I've had. The room was so nice and relaxing I could of fell asleep! All and all it ended up being a great day for my mom and I. She loved every minute of it! She loved the decor and home like feeling to the place. She said she felt like she was at the salon from the movie "Steel Magnolias". haha we love that movie BTW They were also very accommodating due to the fact that my mom lives about an hour away and the package we received is for two visits. So she was able to fit us both in one day and a Saturday nonetheless. I was very happy they were able to do that for us. Thank you Chute 9 for our great experience! read more
