Never mind. It sucks again. Still not back to the boiled burgers, but the apparently soggy and half cooked fries are the new norm.

Love the churn. I go here all the time. The best ice cream. Butter pecan is my favorite. The food is pretty good.

Our server was definitely on point. The decor and setting of the restaurant is warm and inviting. There is an awesome train museum nextdoor. Their pricing is affordable for a really good meal. Also the homemade desserts, the Ritz Cracker Pie is my favorite, are a perfect way to end a wonderful experience. I would also recommend all the seafood, it's on par or better than a lot of the Charleston Seafood places.

It is in line that you meet good "home people" and in just a few minutes you can catch up on all the local "happenings". Once inside, the atmosphere is relaxed. The food,,,you have to have some "low country" up bringing to realize, and recognize that you could be sitting in a local farm house 100 to 150 years ago eating the same meal. We had red rice and lima beans with fried shrimp, have also had the pork tenderloin. Everything has love cooked into it. Just a little side note, it's a good night when the train rolls through, be prepared, he doesn't slow down. Service is right on time, not intrusive, not over chatty. Just right

Pleasantly surprised by Bistro 221. It's in a very small town along I-95, and you wouldn't…read morenecessarily expect much - but it delivers. From the first phone inquiry to the experience in the restaurant, the people were genuinely polite and welcoming. The atmosphere felt calm, relaxed, and easy. The food exceeded expectations. The Cobb salad was especially good - fresh, well-balanced, and thoughtfully put together, with healthy ingredients and no bacon, which I appreciated. The shrimp tacos were excellent, topped with a slightly sweet/spicy, mysterious sauce that worked really well. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!!!

The staff were all very polite and friendly. We were seated quickly with drink orders taken. It took a few minutes to get the drinks, but thats OK. A larger table was seated before us so its all good. We placed our food order of the Loaded Fries for an appetizer, 2 Killer Club sandwichs(pesto on the side)with fries, Secret Philly with onion rings and the Blackened Fish Tacos with the chips salsa and queso. The Loaded Fries were delicious! Plenty of bacon and queso on them. The Philly was delicious, onion rings hot and crispy. The kids loved their Club sandwiches. They were HUGE and the kids could have easily split one. The Blackened Fish Tacos were the only negative on our trip. They were pale colored, hardly warm, and the slaw was soggy. Honestly they were aweful! My husband tried a bite and said it tasted like it was from yesterdays trash. I have seen tons of good reviews on them so I'm not sure if they have been changed or I got them on a bad day or what. I hate sending food back, so I just ate them. I tried throwing pesto from the clubs, salsa or queso on bites trying to make them better, but nothing really helped. Overall we will definitely be back again, just not ordering the tacos!

First off I want to start by saying this is a good ole "down home" kind of bar / restaurant. That…read morebeing said if you know, you know. I stay next door pretty often, and I've never came in. Although I have been to waffle House, which I'm sure I reviewed prior. I came in around supper time, 6:00 p.m. or so, and it was probably at 75% capacity. I sat at the bar, after being welcomed by a local fully equipped with his own Skynyrd beer koozie!! Hahaha! They have karaoke, and they karaoke DJ spinning all the good country hits, literally emulating exactly what I play at home. Anyhow, the local that pulled my chair out essentially, told me that the "bartender sucked" But in good ole down home local fashion, she clapped right back, and obviously he was joking cuz she is phenomenal. Despite having a completely full bar, and waiting tables, she acknowledged me almost immediately. Even sat down in the bar stool next to me to take my order and chit chat and go over the menu with me. I think her name was Alicia, but regardless she was outstanding! I ordered hot wings and lemon pepper wings. They came out really fast, really hot, and really good. I kind of wish I had room to order another entree, but it filled me up. As I waited for my food, I was suddenly engulfed by an entire group of locals. Now this place, is the mature crowd, and they were so nice they sort of took me under their wing! This is the epitome of down south hospitality. I've been holding out on coming to this place for a few years now, and looking back, I wish I would have came a lot sooner. I hate using the term "vibe", But this is totally my vibe. Great food, great service, great locals, laid back atmosphere with music playing and karaoke? You just can't beat it. I have responsibilities, so I had to leave really early, but rest assured, I will definitely be back. I mean who else is going to sing Jason Aldean on the karaoke machine? Thank you skynyrd's, thank you Alicia (I hope I remembered your name right), such a great experience and I'm sorry I had to cut it short!
