Closest dish is the mac and cheese, and the other is the shepherd's pie. Wowzer!!

Holy cow! What a hidden gem! We've been here over 20 years, and just this evening decided to give it a shot. It's now officially our new favorite place. The fresh-baked appetizer of a pretzel was THE BEST pretzel I've ever had, here or in Europe. Not even a close second. The Shepherd's pie my wife had (and which I had a bite of) was just stellar. The mac and cheese that I had was--hands down--the best I've ever had anywhere. The food was screamin' hot (kind of a big deal to me), portions were generous, the service was casual and excellent, and the atmosphere just what you'd want in a pub. I cannot believe we waited this long to go, but it won't be long before we go again (he says, glancing at his watch...).

Beet Salad

Great beer selection and a solid food menu at Churchkey Pub! A quaint British style pub tucked away in downtown Edmonds. The staff was fantastic -- helpful, knew their beer, and were so friendly! I got the beet salad as a main which was delicious. TIP: the pretzels are small, may want to do one per person. Also ask for mustard as they have an amazing assortment! We'll be back

Beet salad and Bavarian Pretzel

Great little neighborhood pub. Wanted to watch Mariners game and they have a lot of TVs. The bartender was very friendly and graciously turned one of the TVs to the game. My friend and I split the beet salad and the pretzel with beer cheese. The bartender also gave us a selection of mustard too. The beet salad was good but the beets were a little hard. I liked the roasted cashews but overall it was an average salad. The pretzel was delicious and warm and fluffy. So good with beer cheese and the different mustard. I only wish it was a little bigger. Drinks were average nothing special but I also didn't order a special cocktail. I would go back to watch sports and for that pretzel.

Smoked Bratwurst Flatbread

This place has a charming Irish pub vibe. It's quaint and small, with great food and service. I came in hungry and left full. We started with the artichoke dip. It was a little different than your average artichoke dish. I couldn't pinpoint what was so different maybe the onions but still a good start of the meal. A couple of us ordered the bangers and mash, while my friend got the Smoked Bratwurst Flatbread. The flatbread was a decent size, and I even had leftovers from the bangers and mash because you get two sausages--plenty of food for one. I was delighted! We also had the brownie with ice cream, which just melted in your mouth--a perfect treat after a hearty meal. The drinks were your standard beers and ciders, no complaints there.

Shepherds pie

Service was awesome, atmosphere was incredible. The bar was packed but that made for a very friendly, cozy spot to watch the game. Cannot recommend the corned beef sliders enough - truly one of the best I've ever had (I'm a slider connoisseur so this is high praise ) We also tried the shepherds pie and chicken pot pie. Shepherds pie was fantastic! My only complaint is that our pot pie tasted a little off, heavily salted so we couldn't finish it. I may have had a bad batch as it is normally highly recommended. Overall, that didn't take away from our experience. Everything else was incredible. We will definitely be back!

Rachel & tomato soup

One of my favorite hidden gems in Edmonds. Just off the main path, it has incredible food and service. Their sandwiches are the best in Edmonds (bring back the Cuban!), the Rachel is incredible. They also have the best tomato soup. Its also a nice spot to watch sports. In the summer the patio is nice and allows dogs :)

Lucky for us, our…read morewonderful bartender, Tabitha, let us know that it's happy hour (on Sundays happy hour is from 3-10pm). We ordered the old fashioned and I asked for a French 75, but with vodka. Tabitha let me know that it's called a French 76, which I will keep ordering. Since it was happy hour we decided to have dinner as well and my husband got the burger and I got the chicken strips and fries. The burger was perfectly cooked, but note, on happy hour does not include fries. That was fine though because my chicken tenders came with more than enough to share. My chicken tenders were juicy and very large, the happy hour portion with the fries is large enough to take some home, definitely worth it! (No picture of food because we inhaled it lol) Let's talk sauces - we had the honey mustard, buffalo, and blue cheese and they were all 10/10. It was only our second time visiting Victor Tavern but I think it will become a monthly visit.

For more than a year now, my friends and I have made The Victor Tavern our regular Friday night…read morespot, and our experience today is making us rethink this. Yes, we were a fairly large group, but there was never an issue in the past, so imagine our surprise when the manager or shift lead greeted us in a condescending manner because we hadn't called ahead. Again, more than a year of eating here and it was never an issue. If we could not be accommodated, or had to wait this could have been communicated to us as proper adults, not in the way this was handled. Several members of our party walked out and I think the rest of us have decided that as good as the food is, it's not good enough for us to come back after this experience.
