They are super cheap at $14. We rented the splitter originally for 1 day, but ended up keeping it longer then our agreed upon time. The weather this weekend was rainy. I was expecting to be charged for 2 days but was pleasantly surprised when I got my email statement charging me for only 1 day due to rain. Great customer service.

The Storage is brand new, climate-controlled, and as clean as a whistle. When it came time for the move, they gave us use of their moving trailer. They met us at 8 am at Creamery Brook. We loaded it up in two hours, and then they drove it down to the storage facility. All at no additional charge. These are fantastic people and provide wonderful storage units. We can not recommend them highly enough. We rate them 5 Stars for good reason.

Units are just a typical cube of space, nothing special, which is fine. Some have lights but some the lightbulb has burned out and was told they won't be replaced. Have 24hr gates access, requiring a passcode. Prices are much less than renting a Pod or other storage unit that stays on your property. If the location is convenient to you, I'd recommend it.

Between late April and the end of June, my family helped me store items in the unit. These were not material possessions--they were deeply sentimental. My daughter was born with health issues, and the items included her medical gifts from CT Children's, her baby clothes, and a few miscellaneous furniture pieces. As my home was in the process of selling between late June and July, I hadn't returned to the unit until Friday, July 25th. When I entered the "climate-controlled" building, I immediately noticed the hallways were very cold. But when I opened my unit, I was hit with a gust of warm, humid air. At first, I was slightly annoyed, thinking my family hadn't stored many items in this unit--especially since my other climate-controlled unit in Thompson, CT, was getting full. As my mother and I began moving things around, I quickly realized something was wrong. All the boxes were damp, and the plastic totes had a sticky, wet feeling. Then I saw it--mold. Mold was everywhere, covering all of my belongings. Let me be clear: these items were not stored in a basement. They came directly from my home, which had just passed inspection with no signs of mold. These were everyday items from a clean, safe environment. I took photos and videos. The unit had no ventilation--none. The longer I stood inside, the hotter and more lightheaded I felt. The walls were brick, and there was insulation at the top, but no airflow whatsoever. I immediately called the front office and left a message, as it was after 5 PM. The next day, the manager--who was very kind--called me back. After I explained the situation, he told me that mold wasn't covered. I explained again that the mold could not have come from my belongings. These were my daughter's irreplaceable items. He said he would speak with the owners. In the end, they refunded me two months' rent and offered me a free unit. But I would never accept that offer--I have zero trust in this facility now. I trusted them to protect items that meant the world to me, and I was left feeling dismissed and heartbroken. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others. If you want your belongings kept safe, look elsewhere. The owners clearly do not care about their customers. Even when presented with clear evidence that their "climate-controlled" unit had no ventilation, they did nothing meaningful to make it right.

My parents hired them to move things from their house to mine. He said things like" get away from us and let me do my," most likely because they didn't want me seeing them drop a large antique china closet 3x. I was in my house I can be whenever and say what I want. They are getting paid and even my neighbors heard him. He told my mom. My parents had another move already scheduled with them different gentlemen showed up this time thank goodness but before they even started moving they asked for their tip! I've tried to contact the office several times especially about the first gentleman's behavior cuz it was almost abusive and nobody answers and you cannot get a hold of anyone. I'm guessing cuz they don't want these type of phone calls. The three men today said that the company tells them to ask for the tip In the beginning and my parents did buy them lunch as well and I was going to let it go but this is the second horrible experience in the first one the man was actually verbally abusive to a degree where I had to actually stick up for myself and yell. If they did a good job it might be worth it but I'm not sure that any of them actually are experienced in this I've had several moves myself and have never witnessed people dropping furniture like this or asking for a tip or being rude. I know I can't act like that at my job that's for sure!

Poor business practices and uses young and untrained labor to handle your valuables. Workers are…read moreexploited and expected to work what should be an illegal number of hours in a day. On my son's 2nd day of work, during his "training/orientation", he packed and loaded a house from 7a - 4:30p and then drove 2 hours to a house in NY to unload it! At 10 pm, they told him if he didn't help unpack then they wouldn't give a ride home AND that he couldn't leave because he needed an escort off the "base". He panicked and called us and we ended up getting the West Point police to escort him to the school exit. At 11:30p he got an Uber to Fishkill, NY where his dad picked him up and they got back to West Hartford at 2:00a. It was a horrible experience for him and makes me really question how they run their business. Also, they weren't even going to pay him for the 29 hours he worked over those 2 days! We finally badgered them enough that they paid him for 16 hours...so add what I have to think is wage theft to the list of questionable tactics. I would never recommend anyone work there or hire them to move ANYTHING!

They've denied our many requests, and said they didn't promise an enclosed vehicle , which is an outright lie, because they are swindlers. Mike came to our home and we discussed and confirmed that our car would come enclosed and that the associated fee would be an additional $1000. I will have to contact the better business bureau if a refund is not issued.
