He said things like" get away from us and let me do my," most likely because they didn't want me seeing them drop a large antique china closet 3x. I was in my house I can be whenever and say what I want. They are getting paid and even my neighbors heard him. He told my mom. My parents had another move already scheduled with them different gentlemen showed up this time thank goodness but before they even started moving they asked for their tip! I've tried to contact the office several times especially about the first gentleman's behavior cuz it was almost abusive and nobody answers and you cannot get a hold of anyone. I'm guessing cuz they don't want these type of phone calls. The three men today said that the company tells them to ask for the tip In the beginning and my parents did buy them lunch as well and I was going to let it go but this is the second horrible experience in the first one the man was actually verbally abusive to a degree where I had to actually stick up for myself and yell. If they did a good job it might be worth it but I'm not sure that any of them actually are experienced in this I've had several moves myself and have never witnessed people dropping furniture like this or asking for a tip or being rude. I know I can't act like that at my job that's for sure!

Not good it was a very easy move four pieces of furniture. Dirty hand prints ripped coached ripped…read morebed

Rogovin Moving & Storage

Rogovin Moving & Storage

(18 reviews)

DO NOT USE ROGOVIN MOVING AND STORAGE…read more This was, without exaggeration, one of the most unprofessional and disrespectful service experiences I've ever had. PICKUP: The movers arrived already frustrated and openly complained about having to move larger items- items that were absolutely disclosed ahead of time. They told me dispatch never informed them, which immediately put me in the middle of their internal failure. Because of this, they were completely unprepared to properly pack those pieces despite the fact that I paid Rogovin in advance to pack them. As a result, both items were significantly damaged. When I called dispatch to resolve it, instead of taking responsibility, they argued with me and blamed me for not packing the items myself... for a service I was literally paying them to perform. I was charged for packing that never happened. DROP OFF: It somehow got worse. Immediately, a mover disappeared into my bathroom and later came out apologizing, asking if I had spray. I later discovered he hadn't even flushed properly. I had to clean up after your employee in my own home. That alone is unbelievable. They also don't tell you that you're required to stand there and help them count every item during unload, or risk issues later. That burden is entirely put on you with zero warning. And then the most unacceptable part: They left with one of my major belongings still on the truck. Instead of immediately correcting their mistake professionally, I was told to meet them on the side of I-95 as if that's a normal or reasonable solution. I spent hours of my workday trying to track them down on a highway and never found them. When I called dispatch again, I was met with hostility and told I would need to go all the way back to Connecticut to retrieve my own item... after I had already moved to Maryland. Let that sink in. This company: * Damaged my belongings * Charged me for services they didn't perform * Left my home in a disgusting state * Lost one of my items * And then refused to take accountability or fix it in any reasonable way Until my missing item is returned to the address I paid to have it delivered to, this review will remain. Avoid this company at all costs.

Why can we give 0 stars to this horrible Moving company…read morebesides braking my stuff they lost some of it and offer $50 to repay it !!! Would not recommend it to anyone

I got home and noticed this and I took the statue upstairs, and through my window heard them complaining that I had taken in the statue. When I called them out through my window they started yelling at me and couldn't care less that they had done it. If this is what the company is like to neighbors I can't even imagine what they would do to the people who's things they're charged to move.

So maybe our experience was just a fluke but…read more.. We booked Sitterly to move our furniture to our new apartment. They were supposed to arrive at 8:30/9 AM, which was confirmed by phone by them the day before. 9...9:15...nothing. We call their office-- they're closed on Saturdays. We call the salesperson who quoted us-- no answer. Finally, I think around 10 we hear from the sales guy. It turns out that the movers grabbed the paperwork for a move in two days, showed up, the people said, hey you're early, and they left. (Lesson #1: If you grabbed the wrong paperwork, wouldn't you return to the office to get the right paperwork?) Salesperson talks to them and tries to see if they can still come. We hear back. Yes, the movers will come at 11:30/12. It's 12...12:15...nothing. We call salesperson back. Voicemail. (Lesson #2: You already stood us up once, your movers ostensibly have our paperwork and therefore contact number...why aren't they informing us that they'll be late?) We hear back from salesperson. It seems like today won't work, might have to be tomorrow. We say we need to think about it and call back. We do, and insist on today (we've now spent/wasted like 6 hours waiting for movers to come). Salesperson tells us that they're not sure it's going to happen this weekend. We ask if we can talk to the dispatcher. We can't because that person only has a personal cell. (Lesson #3: So if you move on a weekend, there's no one you can contact if there's a problem? Lesson #4: Why can't you come this weekend? Because you're too booked? Can't you give us more information?) The salesperson was nice enough to recommend someone else who was available, but we decided to move everything ourselves because we were so fed up / didn't trust anyone anymore. We've never used movers and thought it would be such a good break. Instead, this experience made our move twice as long. Appreciate that mistakes happen, but this is three in one day (1. AM time missed; 2. PM time missed; 3. Cancellation on same day.)
