I first have to say Adam (the owner) is not only a great cook but a genuinely kind person. He and his family operate the truck right next to the university. Adam recommend their best seller grilled cheese sandwich which is what I got. My husband got their brisket burrito. We both loved what we ordered and couldn't get over how tender the brisket was! Everything was priced really really well too. For two meals and a drink we only paid $15. Such a great value! I only wish we lived closer so we could eat there every week. Will definitely be back!

I have tried the brisket burritos, baked potatoes, raspas, and brisket sandwiches and all of them are 10/10!!! Highly recommend this place

Quality Made with TLC, Mom Pop owned and Operated. I've been out of town for a while, it's great to come by and say hello, Jeez it smells so good. Ask for a taste if their not to busy. You don't want to go somewhere that's not. You can call an order in also and plenty of parking.

My $9.50 brisket/sausage special with two sides and a soda.

A-ok! Told I missed my chance for Susu's, I came looking for Nina's which was also nowhere to be seen. My nose chose this place of the 3 trailers I found. My eyes saw loaded baked potato, but once the window opened I'd found specials posted. I'm a sucker for those, especially in a new-to-me spot. I went for sausage/brisket plus two sides and a drink for $10. Two and a third fat slices of lean smoked brisket and a soft, slightly sweet sausage in my tray, no sauce. Chose beans and potato salad as sides; three slices of white bread came unannounced plus fork and napkins atop my to-go box. It was still nuclear hot as I started digging in on my front porch, having fed the neighborhood cats first and hoping to cool my phone atop the soda can. Because of household pet hijinx I spilled most of my Coke over three separate episodes and I am still happy. That's how full I am. And hooray for all the bread because that's how I ate most of the meats. Sides kept it from being too dry, so remember that before you choose chips as an option. I don't know if they smoke their own meats here. I say anyone staying so chipper and friendly in a trailer at 3pm Texas in July deserves some love.

Texas Toast Brisket Grilled Cheese

The food was delicious and such an outstanding quality for the cost. Super sad we don't live closer. We were just passing through. But we will definitely be stopping by the next time we're around!

Had to show the inside of this baby! So freaking delish!

Service was top notch- food preparation was super quick and food was served nice and hot. I ordered the Burrito w brisket. You literally get a piece of meaty and super Smokey brisket with every bite. Stopped by to shop in San Marcos and wanted to try something local. It was the best decision! Will def be back.

Stop by to satify your need for bbq. Definitely tasty BBQ.

Great service, quick, and delicious!…read more The heavenly eggs were so good with the candied bacon, and the dirty fries were honestly enough to make me full on their own. I would come back and try their stupid hot (ghost) flavor next time. I had the habanero and it was spicy yet the chicken flavor was still good. If you're a true spicy fanatic I would recommend this spot to try, as there is still good flavor outside of being spicy with their chicken.

My wife and I love this place....it's a borderline problem. When we lived in Kyle we would drive up…read moreto the Lake Austin location once a week. When we moved to San Marcos and realized they were opening one up across from HEB off exit 205 we both looked at each other and said in unison "uh-oh". Hot chicken sandwiches are one of my favorite things to eat on the planet. Our yearly trips to Nashville aren't complete until I go to Prince's, Hattie Bs and Boltons. The first time we went to Tumble was 2 days after returning from a trip and I'll put T22 up against any of them all day. We have never even gone to the Hattie Bs in Austin because we don't need to. I have tried a couple other hot chicken spots in the area and was severely disappointed. They set the bar that high. A Big Larry is a must have. Blood orange frozen marg with a Gran Mariner floater that is perfect for that Central Texas heat. Bone-in chicken and tenders are great but the OG sandwich is the star of the show. You can choose from 6 different heat levels from nothing to "stupid hot"...which is in fact stupid hot. I go one notch below (cluckin hot) and my wife enjoys dang hot. The OG is huge so come hungry. We have actually taken to ordering the Lil OG so we don't drive home in a coma. Try it Korean style at least once. It doesn't disappoint. They have several other sandwich versions as well so, plenty of variety. The fries are like old school McDonald's fries (compliment, have to get the comeback sauce of course) but the ranch beans are my typical go to. I do wish they had potato salad like other locations but the slaw is great if I'm in the mood to cool things off. They are also know for their pies, I'm partial to the Key Lime. The happy hour menu (4-6pm) is a legitimately good value as well and has items on there you'll actually want to order (Big Larry, Lil OG, etc). The staff, management, bartenders and hosts are always attentive and cheerful. We bring our dogs and sit on the patio and everyone comes by to give them some pets, water bowl and even the occasional treat. You'll love it here just like anyone and everyone we take here who visits from out of town or who we brow-beat in to going who hasn't been yet.

I grew up eating McAlister's and have ordered the same Grilled Chicken Club since the early 2000s…read more It's a basic sandwich, but I seriously can't get enough of it! I could easily replicate the sandwich to save me some money (and a 25 min drive on a good day), but it's the nostalgia and tastiness that keeps me coming back. What it is: The Grilled Chicken Club is a simple, yet refreshing layered sandwich made with slices of wheat bread spread with dijon honey mustard and mayo, then stacked with lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, and sliced grilled chicken. I can literally recite the exact ingredients from memory. The cookies are delicious, the sweet tea is spot on, and the soups are always solid. A cashier recently recommended me the lasagna soup from my regular chicken tortilla soup, and now I can't stop making my own version at home. If this McAlister's ever closes, I will be devastated!!! Unfortunately, this location does not serve mashed potatoes as a side, which is a bummer!!

Tried again since it had been almost a year…read more Even worse service this go around. A to go order, so i wait at the labeled pick up area. I am neither greeted by the cashier on her phone, nor given any sign that orders are kept elsewhere. After almost 10 minutes, I see someone else go to the counter and ask where their order is. When i walk ip to do the same, we are told that they have a problem with theft so they keep everything behind the counter now. A practical solution a suppose. But a sign slob the aforementioned area, or maybe greeting the waiting customer, would be good additions.
