I've tried to go here a few times after I paid for an expensive alignment. They quoted me top dollar dealership prices for my repairs. I needed my front strut assembly's installed. $324.00 they wanted and would not budge. Two doors down the guys did it for $180. Then I needed another alignment after the repairs. Nope sorry no discount for a returning customer. $98.00 for another alignment. Got it done for $45 at another shop. Nice people, but they don't budge on anything. I appreciate how they showed me my bad and worn out rotors and brake pads and the price was easy on my wallet. However, Jeep owners please know that they have warned me as to complications working on Jeeps and they did have to take mine over to the dealership on Auto Parkway a couple times for diagnostics. It may be easier to go to jeep first. Once they got my vehicle diagnosed and the part in everything went smooth. So I had a light grinding/howling noise coming from the front of my older truck. I called a few shops and described the problem, they let me know it could be bearings or something like that. Based on Yelp reviews, I found Chula Vista Auto and I'm glad I did. After calling, Moises test drove my car and immediately identified it as an intake problem. However, after a week the same error came back. I called them and they said it will cost $800 to replace the part. When I went to the dealer, it costed me only $500. I brought my 2001 KIA Rio into Chula Vista Auto Tech just yesterday because the Check Engine Light stayed on while driving and I was in fear if I kept driving it that way that it would break down. Moises looked under the hood and discovered that the gasket cap was not good, and oil had leaked into a few of the sparkplugs! I previously had this problem back in 2015, where the whole gasket converter had to be changed, cleaned and new spark plugs were installed. From 2015 to 2022, it was a process that finally converted to the beginning of the same problem. This time it was changing spark plugs and the gasket cap. Unfortunately, I had to wait hours for the parts, since it is a 2001-year vehicle. Service was good, price reasonable and Claudia was efficient and friendly. I have an old .... 15 year old Lexus RX 330, it has 210.000 miles on it, it runs well, but it was time to change water pump, timing belt and hub bearings and brakes.
