In fear, we call our husbands to come escort us out,as well as the Hudson Police. And you guessed it, as soon as we walked to our car, the husband was charging us- and the bartender was trying to stop him- and he continued to shove her in order to get us. We spoke to the second bartender, a young woman, who said this happens every week... Thank goodness, Hudson police department showed up right in time.

I knew I had to be better at my own job based off how good Mike and Mandy are at theirs.

Slim's is not really a place you'd go during the day as it is more of a bar environment than a "bar and grill" type environment. It's mostly a townie bar, but the type of crowd it attracts on any given night kind of depends on the occasion. On a typical Friday or Saturday night, you'll usually see mostly townies and a smaller group of college students if it's August-May, probably from Hiram College down the road. The college kids can get wild sometimes but they bring a fun, refreshing feel to the bar. But, like I said, it depends on the occasion- there are a few times I've been there that it was almost completely dominated by college students. The service is great all the time. Sometimes you'll go there and there will only be 10 or 12 people there, other times the bar will be packed with 40 or more people, but the service remains consistent. The bartenders are very nice and catch on quickly to what you like if you go there a few times. Very large selection of liquor. The have DJs sometimes and they also do karaoke sometimes.
