3.75 out of 5 but I will give them a 4. Prices a bit steep for what it is. Wait times should be improved if they are going to last. 25 minutes for a quick counter service type place isn't going to cut it. It wasn't even that busy. Food all tasted fairly good. Most of it tasted fresh. Nice to have a wide variety of sauces and some different offerings. I don't think this is somewhere we will be back too often if they don't improve some things. I

Putting this place next to Jersey Mikes should be a criminal offense. I just paid $12 and change for 5 chicken tenders, 11 tater tots (I counted... I'm petty), and a can of Minute Maid Lemonade. I should have turned around when nobody was inside at 6:15 on a Saturday... but I'm hungry and I had Jersey Mikes for lunch. Chicken tenders were 2/5 - as far as chicken tenders go it's pretty hard to mess up... but they did when they sprinkled the "spicy" dust on it. Tater tots were great! All eleven of them! Minute Maid Lemonade was great. My brother had the wings and if you've ever been to Hooters and had their wings (the breaded ones) and left them in your car for 48 hours and then decided to eat them? That is what I think the one I tried tasted like. He got the Buffalo and Korean bbq. Buffalo sauce was "the worst Buffalo sauce of all time". Thanks for reading, have a good day... I wouldn't go to Chucky D. (I think this place has to be a money laundering scheme or something)

On our second try of ordering takeout (first time no one answered the phone and website only had ordering for downtown location), we thought it was ok. We had wings, tenders and tater tots. Breading was crunchy. We got a few sauces to try (though 50 cents each I think it should come with a sauce on the side with it) they gave us some cheese to try on the wings. We really enjoyed that. Definitely not the best option in the area, but it's ok.

I absolutely enjoyed my lunch here and can't wait to go back…read more I signed up on the website and dowloaded the app, so I got a free appetizer. I also signed up for birthday rewards so u got a free appetizer for that as well. You can't use both at the same time, just a FYI for yall. I got tower of onion rings for appetizer. Very crispy almost too hard. Comes with ranch dip and ketchup. The hibuscus margarita was perfect, not too sweet. There were soooo many food options I had a hard time choosing, but went with blackened salmon, mashed potatoes and creamed corn. Wow, I was not disappointed. The salmon was perfectly cooked and seasoned, moist and flavorful. I've never seen creamed corn on a menue, this had peppers and fried onions and was delicious. For my birthday they brought 2 scoops of ice cream with Carmel drizzled on top and whip cream and a cherry. My husband got the meatloaf which very good as well; moist and smothered in brown gravy. Everything was seasoned nicely; not bland at all. The atmosphere and the decor is fun and our server Liz was genuinely happy and helpful. Even their wardrobes were fun and garage themed. There are so many drink options including cocktails beer and wine. My grandson had chicken tenders and fries and loves cars BTW! They have outdoor seating which is heated in the weather and a real fireplace near the bar area. Had a really y nice, fun time and have so many options to come back for. I really appreciate good service and personable servers. Everyone looked really happy and like they were enjoying themselves, customers and team members. They also had many tvs throughout the restaurant and they gladly put the colts game on near us so we could see the game

The food was still hot and crispy when we got home. The onion rings was delicious and there was at least 12 pieces. There were 2 big pieces of fish and fries underneath. The service is consistently great, and the food never disappoints. I started with the fried green tomatoes, which are some of the best you'll find in the Indianapolis area--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly done. The biscuits and gravy are a must-order. The biscuits taste freshly made, and you can really tell the restaurant prioritizes high-quality, farm-to-table ingredients. It's easily my go-to recommendation every time I visit. The ambiance is another highlight--intimate, cute, and welcoming. Even when it's busy, it never feels too loud or overwhelming. It's perfect for a casual date, catching up with friends, or even enjoying a solo meal with your laptop. Grindstone is truly a versatile spot that always delivers.

The reason I gave it a 4 star review is because some of the food didn't meant our expectations. My friend's prime rib was very tough and chewy, (they made it right on the bill) and my Nashville hot sandwich was not spicy at all. But with that being said, I can't wait to come back!

We sat at the bar and were very well taken care of by Christian, who provided excellent service from start to finish. I decided to order the empanadas, guac, and churros from the happy hour menu. Everything was $5/each. I went with the steak empanadas, cuz unfortunately you can't mix and match flavors. For me, the texture was a bit off. Christian noticed my hesitation right away and kindly offered to replace them. He brought out the chicken empanadas instead, and they were much better. Not phenomenal, but enjoyable. My classic margarita was refreshing... until the manager offered me a sample of the Carriage House margarita. Whew! Yaaaass! That was deliciously potent! Easily two drinks in one, so pace yourself. It has officially become my new go-to leaded bev when dining here. If paella is your thing, I'd absolutely recommend it. That's usually my standard order. But just a heads up... sometimes it can be a lil like my friend when my outfit is cuter than hers - salty! So, you may find yourself needing another margarita to help balance your palate. And don't forget to add to your Cunningham rewards!!!! 1000 points equals a $100 gift card.

I order guacamole, but also tried the ceviche and cauliflower - all good! I was impressed by the ceviche. I got the taco salad for my entree. It was just okay for me. I didn't see a lot of meat, so I lost interest pretty fast. I'd try something else next time, but no complaints overall.
