I don't usually get my hair done in a barbershop/salon, so I took a shot in the dark going to Chuck's world class barbershop, I called in advance to see if they had a braider, and was confirmed. When I got there, Essence braided my hair for my homecoming. It was very precise and was amazing for the occasion. I've been getting compliments since I got it done! Essence did a great joband I will be coming to the barbershop again for her services. Will recommend! I used to come here specifically to get my haircut for years, but since mid 2023 I haven't been able to get a haircut at this shop, I walk-in, I'm sitting for an hour two hours no barbers approach me, I call ahead of time no one answers phone, no business cards at the front to set up appointments with barbers, no website to contact barbers I'm at a lost for words on how poor this shops customer service has become!! oh would comment on the quality but I haven't been able to get a haircut from them since April last year!!! read more

I was in the area this morning and needed a haircut. Dropped in and 20 minutes later Semaj Williams asked me if I was ready. I'm a 60 y/o white guy with a little hair on the sides but I want it to look clean and tight. That's what I asked for and that's what I got! Semaj hooked me up and out the door I went. I only get my haircut from black barbers and I have been in a lot of Saturday morning clubhouses. Chuck's Barber Shop is a place that people come to get a haircut but they also make you feel a home (even if you're an old white guy). Chuck's Wold Class Barbershop couldn't be more precisely named: it's the best barbershop I've ever been to. I'm 38 years old and I like to think I've had lots of haircuts in my life but man Justin is my guy and he's the first chair on the right when you come in. Justin has given me by far the best haircut ever in fact he's got the gold, silver, and bronze for 3 best haircuts I've ever gotten ever anywhere! Justin just goes the extra mile. He's not there to give you a basic buzz and done in 5 min. This man is an artist and he takes his time to make a truely magnificent work of art on your head every time. Justin you really are the best. And Chuck you and your amazing business are just awesome! Can't praise you both enough! Hope you never move. Went for the first time this past weekend. Not only did my son receive the perfect hair cut, they were doing a back-to-school event for the community. They had bbq, a game truck, and backpacks filled with school supplies at no cost. With all of the fun happening Chuck still honored our appointment and we were in and out (although my son didn't want to live). So glad to have found this place. It's our new home. read more

Asked for a drop fade only. Didn't ask me how I wanted the top, but presumably started cutting it. The shaver he used to clean my neck region made my neck break out. Overall, it did not look like a drop fade more so of a high fade he shaved too much where you can see me hair follicles. My back was turned away from the mirror the entire time otherwise I would've guided him. read more

Just moved into the area and was looking for a new Barbershop. Barber Justin Criner 682-261-4517 at Chucks World Class spent almost an hour on me getting my hair back into shape after being in lockdown for the Covid 19 for the last month and a half. I looked ROUGH and not only did he give me one of the best haircuts I've ever received, he trimmed up my goatee and WOW. He did a truly fantastic job. I didn't realize how crooked I had gotten it trimming it myself. No words to say how truly impressed I am with his service. Needless to say I have my new Barber. Give Justin a call. I have tried other barbers, as well as places that cater to kids cuts. This place beats them all, hands down. My 3 year old son loves it here, and they do an an awesome job. Great atmosphere great people. Except for the Hispanic barber. I would not recommend him at all. Has to be learning because he was not good at all.
