from Indiana, driving through on I-65. Needed to pick up some beverages for the weekend, looked up liquor stores near me... chucks popped up. Easy to find, went in and was immediately shocked at how much inventory of everything they had. My wife and I were only steps in and Bryan introduced himself and asked if we needed help... told him we were just looking around to see what was what as we had never been before. He gave us the quick rundown and left us shop... I had some questions, so I went up front to ask, he was awesome with his knowledge! Will definitely stop every time I'm driving by and probably make a day trip. read more

I like this place. They have a great selection of bourbons and the prices are pretty good. Unfortunately on my last visit I bought 2 bottles of bourbon totaling about $116. The credit card POS malfunctioned and I was asked the try again. Anyway I was charged twice. I went to them a day later and showed them the double charges on a my bank account. The owner said he would look into it and call me. He didn't. Long story short I had to have my bank credit back the overcharge because Chucks wouldn't do anything...not even a call to try and apologize or fix the problem. Not happy! read more

Great variety, nice staff - will definitely visit this location again when we are in town. Super convenient location to the Corvette Museum and NCM with huge variety of all alcohols. This spot didn't seem to mark up their products as much as other stores and the staff was happy to answer any questions for you. read more

Was passing through KY and stopped to look into some KY Bourbon. I was really impressed with the professionalism, knowledge, patience the staff showed as we found the right bottle for me rather than the right bottle for store. Coming from Ohio, I was floored by both the vast selection and the knowledge of the staff. I wish I could come by here regularly. Chuck's is our first stop on the way to Nashville, always look forward to it and never disappointed in the selection. Blows away anyplace in Michigan. Shelby is the best. Travel tip. Plan to spend the night at Motel 6, walk to Chuck's, buy a bottle of your favorite Bourbon, get a sack of Sliders at White Castle and enjoy a nice evening. Friendly staff and great selection. Was able to find the bourbon we were on the hunt for- which we couldn't find at Liquor Barn.

Great selection of wines. Owner was super friendly and helpful with the best deals. We even got a tasting of wild turkey bourbon from Jimmy Russell, master distiller, who was pouring when we stopped in. Happy we made the decision to stop in for some wine! read more

Fantastic selection of just about everything, especially Kentucky bourbons. They had smaller batch bourbons from smaller distilleries for fair prices. Buy six bottles 750ml or larger and get a 10% discount! Great place to stop to pick up those last minute bottles as you're heading out of Kentucky. Also an excellent craft beer section - however, their mix and match six pack section is dreadful (may as well not have one). Honestly, that's the reason I didn't give this place five stars.
