Waffles made fresh at order, topped with a dizzying selection of fruits & sauces, or even just plain for all you vanilla types (like me). Make yours a breakfast platter if you wish, heaping some eggs and other proteins alongside your waffle, and when paired with their fresh coffee, you are the new Sheriff of Flavortown. The service can't be beat. Aside from the friendly suggestions for rookies (we're easy to spot), the food comes fast and fresh and your coffee cup never finds a bottom. Shoutout to Angel who steered the boy towards the Strawberry Cheese Cake waffle, all of which he destroyed in about three bites. I opted for a plain ol' waffle so I could take their syrups for a spin and that was a smart play. If you've had 'pancake syrup' and then stepped up to pure maple syrup, then you know there is no going back. Toss in their cinnamon-vanilla syrup (drool) or their silky-sweet 'Waffle Sauce' (it's almost like a thinner frosting) and you can divide a waffle into separate quadrants of different tastes. Pricing is pretty reasonable but the value outpaces the price point. Eat inside if you wish or, Oklahoma weather permitting, find a spot just out front. Just Wafflin' mixes Oklahoma nice with outstanding food with different twists to make a wonderful breakfast spot. If there were more stars to give, then I'd be using them all.

It is a crafty approach actually. Twice the exposure on the review sites. [Even more confusing, there is a sign on the side of the building that says "Sunnyside Steakhouse"] The two names should give you a clue of cuisines served. If you guessed Mexican/American, you got it. On the menu this morning we found regular American breakfast food and huevos rancheros, Mexican potatoes and chorizo potatoes. You can mix the two cuisines to suit your preference. My wife and I both ordered The Pipeliner. A perfect name for a meal served up in "The pipeline capital of the world Cushing, OK." Two eggs, two bacon strips, potatoes of your choice, Toast or a biscuit. My wife chose the Mexican potatoes and I went with the spicy chorizo potatoes and a biscuit. Check the pictures. This was an excellent breakfast!! The restaurant/café is very nice. It has a steak house ambiance. Clean comfortable and superb service. This is your breakfast in Cushing OK! What I found at 6:30 this morning was a smiling greeting to a wonderfully smelling classic worn tables diner. Food (chicken fried steak breakfast) was great. Service was great. Before I could even take a look at the menu, this is what I saw... One of the ladies behind the counter was lifting a waffle off of the waffle iron. Apparently its far too much trouble to use a utensil, or even put a glove on her hand. She just lifted the waffle and put it on tbe plate, bare handed. If she does that in full view of the customers, can you imagine what happens in the kitchen? I'm not someone who is germaphobic, but come on! I just got up and walked out. Save yourself the trouble...don't go in.

Delicious! The food here isn't greasy at all. You can choose your preferred spice level when ordering, and the ingredients are fresh. The dishes are served on trays reminiscent of those used in traditional Chinese tea ceremonies. The side of rice is cooked on the firmer side, but once you mix it with the sauce, the texture becomes perfect. The prices are student‑friendly, and the portions are just right. I can't believe such a great restaurant is located right next to the OSU campus. It's been a week since I ate there, and I'm already itching to go back. I think the restaurant could be even nicer if the interior were updated with a slightly more modern touch.

We tried the basil pesto & goat cheese crostini and the spinach artichoke dip. Both were amazing! The negatives: It was a little loud, but not unbearable sitting by a wall. I would not love if I had to sit in the middle of the room. Getting seated was also difficult, as they did not have a host stand, so we just waited by the door. My least favorite part of the evening was when we were trying to pay. They were just holding the handheld machine, so we could not take our time looking at the bill and filling out the tip. The presets were something like 20%, 25%, and 30% tips. I am not opposed to tipping that much if we received above and beyond service, but that felt very pushy for such a nice place.
