The sourdough tasted like white bread. Papery thin crust with a fluffy even-white interior like wonderbread. The "sour" flavor pales in comparison to a true sourdough. The weight of the bread should have been my first clue this would not be a deeply flavored and textured boule. The aroma is acetic like vinegar vs tangy and fermented and no notes of yeast. Looking at the ingredients I noticed vinegar is added which may be why the flavor and texture are bland? Tastes like commercial bread from walmart. The snickerdoodle cookie texture and flavor felt like the sugar to flour ratios were flipped and no salty or tangy finish. Wasn't greeted or talked to at all by the girl behind the counter who had in an AirPod. Won't be returning.

Such a great Route 66 find!…read more We're camping our way along Route 66 and stopped at Front Porch Bakery around 11 a.m. hoping to try one of their cinnamon rolls. The singles were already sold out, so naturally, we bought the 4 pack instead. The woman behind the counter was so sweet and kind. She recommended eating the cinnamon rolls warm and even took one out of our pack and heated it up for us to enjoy right away. SO GOOD! My husband described it as "Cinnabon on steroids," and that pretty much sums it up. Huge, gooey, warm, and delicious! The shop also has lots of other goodies inside. Since we're camping Route 66, we're planning to warm up the rest of our cinnamon rolls over the campfire. We can't wait to try them that way!

I particularly love that it's made with a good quality, toasted white bread. The lettuce and tomato are the perfect balance to the bologna. And let me tell you, that smoked bologna is Freaking Epic. I appreciate that it was smoky, but not overly smoky. I also appreciate that there was a good portion of meat on the sandwich. My only regret is I only ordered one sandwich. My visit was just before the place closed for the day. By the time I finished my sandwich and realized I wanted another one, they were closed. For god's sake, don't let this happen to you! Be smart, order yourself an extra sandwich. Even if you don't think you can eat another sandwich, get one anyway. You won't be sorry. Employees were super sweet , patient and answered all our questions so we could make the best choice for us . We waited at one of the tables and looked out the window allowing time to visit or get lost is thought .
