Well they ended up putting a wrap on my front and rear bumper and it took them over two damn weeks to give my challenger back to me! EOB Wednesday my car was finished and ready to be picked up. After complaining about being lied to and broken promises. They told me that they had already taken $30 off and that's all they could do. My brother waited 3 hours for an 8:30 appointment job which should have taken no more than 30 minutes. If my advisor had returned my call, we would have known how long he could expect to wait and made arrangements to drop the vehicle and come back later for it. My wife's car in their shop for 12 weeks now as of September 27, 2022.. Brought the car here on July 5, 2022. Told it would be 3 to 4 weeks before they could get to it, which was fine with us. They have performed Tune up, new wires, pulled intake manifold, new fuel injectors, new egr valve, new temp sensor, cleaned seatbelt connections (airbag light) and made a new key ..... $4,600 worth of work and car is still not fixed correctly. On August 29, 2022 we went to pick it up and it had a Service engine light on. We declined accepting it and left it again waiting for it to be fixed, again. Told it needed new injectors ordered AGAIN (they had already replaced them once), finally called and told it was ready on September 15, 2022. Went there and paid for it on September 16th and picked it up. After 5 days and 100 miles +/- the Service engine light comes on again. Took the car back on September 22, 2022. THEN we were called by Service Department and told they never knew to fix the engine light being on ? The engine light was on when it came in on July 5, 2022 and was part of the stalling and shuddering... They (Chuck Hutton) were also asked to save ALL old parts that were replaced for customer, they did NOT. Now it's September 27th and not fixed yet, they are "diagnosing" it..... which is "we will get to it when we feel like it". Seems they enjoy having people wait if it's an older car, the Owner/President either Henry Hutton or Steve Hutton never return emails or phone calls.... VERY sad service. Once this is corrected and completed as it should have been for the $4,600.00 we paid, I will not be back. Oh, BTW... DO NOT believe the corny response from owner or management of Chuck Hutton stating they are "so sorry" and please give us a call to help get this corrected that they will post in response to this.... If you look, it is their standard response to all bad reviews which is worth NOTHING..... Buyer beware, service at your own risk and time.... I, routinely go in for an oil change and a tire rotation for my 2017 Chevy Equinox. Paid $105.37. On Nov 08, 2021 at 0715 Donna Williams assisted me as always. I waited on my vehicle. After receiving my car and taking it back home, when it was time to go to work that evening 2100 (9PM) my car would not start. I checked my receipt to see if there were any mention about my battery being low or needed replacement. No mention. Also my window sticker even shows all three green check marks for : Tires/Brakes/Batteries indicating all areas are good! I had to call into work, not having another vehicle to travel. On Nov 09 I called Chuck Hutton 2471 Mt. Moriah Road Memphis TN where I had my service done. I explained the situation and told me I would have to pay for my own tow truck and a full inspection is 15days out before they could get to my car. Leaving me with no other options. I asked for Donna and she was able to at least get my car looked over once it got there. I had to pay $98.00 for a tow truck from D's Wrecker Service INC. Donna told me my batteries bad. I told her according to my service receipt and sticker in the window it says my battery is good. She charged me $239.98 for a battery! I had to pay out of my pocket AGAIN for something I was told was good and lost wages from work! I demanded to speak with the services manager. I was only escorted to Service Manager Darryl Downs until after I paid for my battery!!!!! I felt awful! I felt they wanted to make sure they had my money first! That's when Donna called Darryl to let him know i paid for my battery. When I was escorted to Darryl Downs office he wasn't friendly. Never got out his seat to greet me, wasn't personable nor relatable to my concerns. Darryl Downs was more interested explaining to me how a battery works/dies. I'm not inexperienced with batteries and what he told me was to only pacify me. I wasn't refunded my towing. I wasn't heard as a customer. This was not satisfied service nor treatment. What happened to care/concern/ fear of losing a customer. The service people and managers are not scared of losing business. This is evident! Warranty is Forever as it says on Darryl Downs recent email to me. Darryl Downs did not stand by that statement! 100% Satisfied wasn't honored. I just wanted my towing refunded because I was told my battery was good and I had to pay for someone's mistake. Accountability and principle was not met. 8/13/20......Today has been a day in HELL at Chuck Hutton Chevrolet Service Department. After car was serviced for same issue today,,,, and charged for part that they should have picked up in original diagnostic test done on 8/7/2020. I seriously doubt at this moment that new parts have been placed on my cars for repairs. A service contract was active on my vehicle and price of supposely new parts tripple!!!!. ,,,,, Services done on my car was for driver seat reclining issues. After waiting 5 hours, I was finally call by service advisor stating that my car was ready. This time, they stated a switch had to be replaced on driver seat. Again, repairs only directed to my Car seat, Once when I started to drive off the lot, a heard a loud rattling sound coming from upper portion of my car. Someone in Service Shop had broken upper Latch Release and other parts broken from my convertible. I immedmiately ask to speak to Shop Foreman/Derrick and GM/ Carey Melsom. None wanted to take responsibi;ity of tampered broken parts to my vehicle, stating no one messed with that part of my car. THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!" .......THINGS HAPPENS FOR A REASON!... I can't begin to tell you how terrible the service department and body shop are. After taking my vehicle to the body shop for repairs from an accident, I waited.. then waited.. finally after a few weeks with no communication I called. They said they're working on it.. another week goes by and they called and said my vehicle was ready.. it wasn't . They incorrectly installed parts on the fender and headlights, also they didn't fix the idling issue . So now I left without a vehicle. After another two months of driving back and forth , speaking with service managers, showing them what the issue was they finally called and told me they couldn't fix my Chevrolet truck! They literally gave up and told me that there's nothing they could do. So after 3 months time they returned my truck to me in worse running condition than when it was brought in. Insurance told me to take it to another dealership, which I did. This is the worst place to take a vehicle. Not enough room to even describe the hassle of dealing with them. My truck was fixed quickly by another shop and I was told that they most likely did an override on the sensor system to keep the check engine light from coming on.. another note: Monica in the service department was the rudest person I've ever spoke to, she did not care about the situation, my truck or my concerns. I personally sat in her office twice to be treated and talked to like crap. Beware. They'll mess your vehicle up worse and lie straight to your face. Doesn't even deserve 1 star read more

I am currently waiting on my truck for an oil change. I scheduled an appointment for 12:00 and even came 15 min early. Was told that it would take 2-3 hours. Well I have been here for 4 hours now and is highly pissed. My blood pressure always go up when I come here! Why schedule appointments when you have people to come without one to take your spot?? We have had basic work such as warranty recalls and oil changes (on a $40k new car) and they still don't seem to care about us any time we have been in. Bought a car from them, the 2 salesmen I worked with were eager to sell a car, polite and helpful and never had the feeling they were being overly pushy. Getting car serviced there is a whole other deal. The shuttle takes forever to run, especially considering my last car was bought and serviced at Jim Keras and their shuttle will have you picked up within 20 minutes compared to chuck hutton which takes around an hour. They did a good job servicing the car, but whatever you do, don't expect a smile from anyone. They are just there to pick up a paycheck and hospitality is the least of their concerns. read more

I was traveling and brought my new car there for it's first oil change which is covered by Chevrolet under the car's warranty. The recommended oil is Mobil One and it's printed right on the oil cap. The service advisor tried to tell me that Chevy recommends the cheaper Castrol GTX and that I would have to pay the difference if I wanted Mobil One. After I questioned it she said she double-checked with and trusted the Shop Manger who's been there 40+ years. I don't know if they're just incompetent or trying to make an extra buck but I had to get my dealer's service manager on the phone and insist they put in Mobil One. The advisor finally relented and told the mechanic, who seemed like a good guy, to put Mobil One in. I accepted this since I'm new to the new car service experience. So this time I set an appointment for my new car to be serviced 6 days in advance to hopefully assure a better experience only to be told that the appointment didn't matter and I was going to wait a MINIMUM of 2 hours for a basic oil change! moreover the service tech told me that they performed the last service PERFECTLY and I was wrong!! My sister drove from Michigan to Tennessee, by herself, in order to seek treatment at St.Jude for her 3 year old son, my nephew, for Anaplastic Medulloblastoma Stage 4 cancer. Unfortunately during her stay, her car broke down, and due to covid19, it was difficult for her to find someone that was able to pick up her car and drop it back off without leaving her sons side... I brought my Jeep Grand Cherokee in because I was having problems with the brakes. They confidently told me that a two day long $800 brake job would fix my problems. They simply kept my vehicle for two days, changed the brake pads, and gave it back to me. When I got it back.. the brake issue was not resolved. When I asked them to make it right?
