Loved how bright and clean everything was. When I was a kid, this place was dark and dank. Unfortunately the disabled access button on the outside wasn't working but the inside door one was. Right away, you could smell disinfectant which was exciting. Last time I went to an American Chuck E Cheese and I got a horrible bacterial infection that needed antibiotics. Staff were super friendly from the get-go, asking us for a selfie of our group for safety. That's the selfie you show on the way out so you're leaving with your same party members. My only suggestion about this is that the location provides a branded selfie wall or something so you still have a good picture! Used coupons to save on 2 1-hour passes and then a 1 hour pass for myself (separate transactions). Enjoyed the play time being by time and not by credits. Kids had a great experience and I saw a staff member disinfecting game machines while we were there. Very pleasant place to come while on our second week of BC March Break. read more

Upon entry, we were asked to take a photo of our family on our own phones -their policy as they ask you to show this same photo upon exit to ensure you leave with the same kids (your own). Lots to do for little ones. For a fee, kids can use the small bright play structure (easy to supervise the whole space from behind the mesh boundary). The fee includes admission to the small trampoline area. With that said it wasnt crowded even on a Friday night. A staff member stands outside of this play structure and trampoline to ensure you have a wrist band which proves you have paid. He opens and closes the gate for kids to enter and exit. A selection of arcade games - some with you tickets to redeem for prizes and some just your standard video arcade game. Typical selection of prizes. The Chuck E Cheese mascot comes out every hour, for a dance party. He walks around holding up a sign that reads "follow me" and leads you to the centre for a party. There is an interactive dance floor where this takes place and a large screen from which you learn the dance moves. Chuck -E can definately use some more pep in his step. He wasnt enthusiastic (at least at this location) at all. In fact of all the staff, I only observed one (the one leading the birthday party) to be friendly and enthusiastic. The rest of the staff were either too serious for a kids play place, unenthusiastic, not very friendly, some even strict. As I was wacthing my kids play in the play structure, I repeatedlyheard what looked like someone from management checking in with the staff member manning the play structure saying things along the lines of "make sure they have a wrist band". Always a fun time here. What we love is that we can buy time instead of just credits. We feel we get to play more this way. They also offer months passes or season passes but we don't come here enough to make it worth it. We love the variety of things to play, but in the end, 800 credits only got us a little army man with a parachute. I love coming to this location when I used to live near the area. The staff are so friendly and nice. However the manager, Yilli is one of the worst manager there and should be let go! He is unprofessional, rude, bad demeanour and should not be in a kid friendly environment. His tone is aggressive and he is miserable with his job, doesn't even check pictures properly when exiting or entering. That is a huge safety concern. The staff are so wonderful and it's disappointing to have someone as a manager like him. The food is mediocre for adult but great for children. The space is large which is nice. read more

We went on weekday morning they are open by 11am. At the front someone will greet you and ask to take a selfie of the whole family on your phone for safety of the kids going out with the parents which is quite unique and more convenient. They have newer games and card system either points like a token or all you can play for minutes which good for my kids. The washrooms are clean. Have a plenty of booth to seats. They offer pizza and the dough is fresh. Wings, fries, salad bar and desserts like ice cream, giant warm cookies and churros. If you have ever wanted to visit Hell on Earth, look no further than this location on a Saturday night. This place was one of the worst places I have ever experienced in my life. When you first enter, you get hit with a stench that just wouldn't go away. This is when you realize that this is a big mistake. As you get closer and closer to the kids check, you see the attendant; an uninterested school kid who is probably counting the minutes until he is off work. They put a stamp on your hand with a number to indicate you child is yours and no one else. Once you enter, you are bombarded with a sea of children running around screaming, laughing, crying, and overall noisy. As you move forward, you start looking for a seat that isn't too dirty or used. Its the luck of the draw. There are so many people, but not enough space. You walk through the crowd looking for you table sanctuary. Once you settle down, your kids starts showing signs of the craziness like all of the other children running around. "Dad, can we start?", "Dad, can we get tokens now?", "Uncle, where are my tokens?". Unhappily, you go to the order counter to buy tokens...OVERPRICED Tokens. Before you can even count the tokens to see if they are correct, the kids already grabbed them....and disappeared into the crowd. You stand there, asking yourself why you deserve this torture....and slowly walk back to your table sanctuary. When you enter their washroom, you get to see where some of the smell is coming from. Kids all over the place with accidents all over the ground. I was too afraid to enter the stalls. Thus, i couldn't comment. All you see are kids coming in, doing their business, and then walking out.... no hand washing or anything. I was afraid to even open the door. After an hour, I was at my limit. Constant screaming, running back and forth, tickets all over the place, and the constant nagging for more tokens and fighting over tokens had finally broken me. We grabbed our tickets, allowed the kids to pick out their junk from the "toy" counter and was finally on our way. As usual, the kids check was a joke. Washed may hands and the stamp was blurred. The guy just glanced at it as I was leaving. I don't even feel that they were looking to check all the number. Overall.....well, lets be polite and say I won't be going back any time soon. read more

Came here for a birthday party. I've been here in the past, and i remember that half the games were not working - out of order. This time, there was only 1 game out of order, that i could see. Plenty of staff around working - keeping busy. Kids seem to enjoy the games and atmosphere. Tables were clean. I didn't order anything, but there was a All you can eat salad bar for $7.99, it looked ok, but not good enough for me to buy.. Party area in the back is big enough for large groups, and they have music and large screen tvs to entertain the kids. So.. really not that many complaints.. but there's no wow factor anymore. Maybe the games there are getting dated. I remember going to woody woodchucks, and wanting to go back, i think it was that huge play structure they had. This one here at Chucks is not big at all. 3.5 stars for "1st time at Chuck E Cheese" 2 stars for " visiting here for the 3rd 4th time" Staff seemed ok, i didn't deal with staff, or stay for the birthday party, it was a drop off. I had been to chuck e cheese's lots of time and liked there serve however i had two bad experiences. The first was when i lost my keys there one time. I went back the next and to my surprise i found the keys in the same spot i was sitting, thus making wonder how clean was the place if they dont even clean under the seats. The 2nd time was this past thursday when i went there with my son, his sister and her friend. We ordered food and ate and went to play games. As we were doing that a kid cleaning tables just cleaned and dumpped all our food. Its was so bad that my 5 yr old son got visblily upset. I went to a manager and told him. After a 10 min wait all i got was our food re done and drinks even though i spent an additional 100 bucks on a play card and token for 3 kids. I wont take my kids there ever again read more

I just visited Chuck E Chese at 2452 Sheppard Ave E, North York, ON M2J 1X1..I was extremely disappointed and shocked as the restaurant served an ice cream (brand - hageen daz) to my 7 year old daughter which had already expired over 3 months ago. On my daughter's complaint about the bad taste i checked the box to find that ice cream was old and expired 3 months ago. I complained to the Restaurant manager Mr.Sam and he argued how okay it is to eat expired ice cream. He found that all the other ice creams in stock were old too. Mr Sam asked us to reach out to his head office instead as he couldn't help if they are supplied with old stuff. I have sent a complaint to Canada Health agency hoping this location is inspected for the food quality. Keep a close watch on what you and your kids eat at this location. Stay safe!!! read more

Booked my sons 1st birthday at this location, the area is nice and spacious tons of games to play. There is a toddler zone which even my son had fun within. Met with Kais our party host who was fantastic brought all the food out on time no issues at all. End of the day all the kids were happy and the Adults had fun as well. read more

I brought my almost 2 year old thinking he might be a little on the young side, but they had a cute little toddler zone with a little slide, rides and some games that were lower down. The musical show with the big electronic characters was a hit too. My son loved it! We'll definitely be back. Most of the facility was nice & clean, but the washrooms were pretty gross. Don't expect much in prizes, they're pretty dinky, but didn't make a difference to my little guy. read more

this is my police report: STOLEN AT KID PLAYGROUND-CAMERAS ONSITE. 1st time at chuck and cheese with my wife and 17 month daughter. Was there for about 5 minutes and about to leave because my daughter was not enjoying it, but on the way out I decided to try start playing with my wife and maybe getting my kid interested. Had 2 cups full with tokens stacked up, and on the 2nd game I went to play while holding my daughter on my lap, someone took 1 of the token cup. "There were cameras pointing toward where I was". I immediately called the manager who told that the camera was broken and that the police would laugh at my face if I tried to call. He offered to give me my stolen tokens back, but i said I didn't care about the tokens and that I just wanted the thief to pay for his actions "who is probably a father that was next to me playing with his kids (thought it could had maybe been 1 of the kids but it was just to fast hand to be a kid)" I know you have way more important things to do rather than dealing with this minor incident, but it really bothers me because it happened at a kids place and I saw several cameras in there that could help catch a bad guy, but I was told that the best they could do was to refund me. Please help. Didn't write this on the police report , but message for chuck and cheese... that is not a safe place to take our kids too and even gets even worse when knowing you are not doing anything about it. what are those cameras for? You (chuck and cheese "a kids place") are contributing with crime and putting our kids on danger by not doing anything about this. read more

I am going to give this place a solid 3 stars, but if management spends some money and improves the interior (maybe re-paint it with some vibrant colours, it could make a difference. O.k, lets start with the review. I hosted a party for 4 year old with with 12 kids, and 20 adults. There were 3 parties going on at the same time, and we had a reserved section with for the kids and adults. We were allotted 2 hours in the reserved section and everything went very well. The food we ordered was great (pizza, sandwiches and wings) I loved the fact that we were able to order beer for the adults. Yes this place is a little run down and loud, but there are a lot of games and many of the toddler games only cost 1 token. The service was very good and our servers were very attentive. The total cost for the premium party of 12 kids (premium package with tokens, pizza, ice cream and loot bags) and food for the adults including soft drinks and large beers for 12 of the adults came up to about $850.00 which was actually a very fair price. Collectively our group had a great time. Remember this place is geared more for toddlers and kids, don't confuse or compare it with Dave and Busters. read more

I love this location. We've been to a few different Chuck e cheeses, in the GTA and in the US, and I am consistently pleased with the service level we receive at the Scarborough location specifically. It's actually out of our way, but I prefer it to Whitby or any of the other ones. The staff are lovely, the food comes out quickly and is always consistent in quality (not great, it's pizza and nuggets and stuff but it's kid food..the ciabatta sandwiches are pretty good, though!), and I enjoy letting the kids run around and burn off some energy in a safe environment. The kids love it, and I love it. I buy $20 worth of tokens and a snack, and the kids go crazy! Perfect way to spend a few hours. read more

Took my 3 year old during the week around noon and she practically had the place to herself. The staff were outstanding! They even let her pick out a couple extra prizes. I just wanted to warn parents, grandparents, etc. about my experience with Chuck E Cheese at this location. On Feb. 12th we ate there and I alone ate the celery sticks, ranch dressing, pizza sticks (which were stone cold and not melted) and the marinara sauce. We ALL had the pizza so it wasn't suspect. I came down with a violent case of food poisoning which was accompanied by a food borne bacteria/parasite. I have been treated for the parasite which has NOT gone away (and believe me the treatment is almost as bad as the food poisoning) and now I have to go to yet another specialist to try and get to the bottom of this. When I called the health department in toronto they went out the same day and did a health inspection which the restaurant FAILED! I was not told what they failed on. So now, two and a half months later I've been to my primary care three times, my ENT once and now I have to go to a gastroenterolgist all over bad food handling practices - ugh! Now Chuck E Cheese is requesting my medical records so I'm the one put out here and I sure I'm not the first or the last to have this happen to them. Forewarned is forearmed. read more
