It is a nice place to hold a birthday party and they provide the food and cleanup! This particular one had a climbing play area with fun slides. They had lots of games. The best part was the girl, Aylin, who was our hostess and she was on top of everything! Brought pizza after pizza and even did little touches like put a sticker to distinguish the Diet Coke ( adults) vs kid's sodas. Pizza was actually pretty good. We had meatballs with spinach, supreme with a mix, cheese and pepperoni. It went quickly and we ordered more even. The wings were a bit pricy but these were also good with the celery and ranch too. Overall, the kids loved it and enjoyed the party and Aylin made sure it was smooth sailing- THANK YOU for working so hard( we had a big party!)! I really liked the play area more than the games- think better for younger kids! Only con, bathroom needed paper towels and some people made a mess in the bathroom( there is always someone!) which is not Chuck E Cheese's fault, but have to keep on top of that with frequent checks I guess bc it was nice when I first went and someone made it dirty by the time I was leaving. One thing I would like to add is there is no tip line on the receipt or with the packaging which is refreshing to see since we usually are tipped for the stupidest things often! BUT in this case, Aylin and the staff work very hard running around, so we left 100.00 tip in cash (to assure she gets it bc she really deserved it!). So even though they don't ask for tip(and she was surprised and gracious saying we didn't have to), please do tip them fairly these young staff who are running around trying to make it a great birthday for your little ones!

There isn't much fun stuff to do in Palo Alto if you're a tiny tot, but this place seemed like it was created for the little ones! Would highly rec if you are in Palo Alto for a day and want to bring your young child somewhere. There are different parts to this - a museum, and also a mini zoo. The museum has all sorts of fun activities, similar to the Bay Area Discovery with building blocks, magnets, trains, cars, tops, etc. The mini zoo is also quite fun with a variety of animals, although not many. The quality of the animals was great, though. They had a feeding hour for the Flamingos when I was there, and although my toddler was not interested, it seemed like the staff stayed for the whole hour, and made sure that anyone who wanted to do it had a chance to do so. Other animals there included a free-roaming peacock! The only draw here is that it's a little small, compared to a real zoo, or a real museum such as the Bay Area Discovery Museum, or the California Academy of Sciences. That being said, the price for this museum was quite reasonable, at $14 per person over 1 year old. Even for the 1.5 hours I was there, I thought it was well worth it! Free parking too. If in the area, I'd definitely stop by again.

Still, we were able to spend a quality couple of hours here and enjoy the time with the kids. A nice little museum with a tree house and some animals that the kids will enjoy. Again, slightly small, but overall a good time.

We booked two consecutive slots from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and from start to finish, the entire experience was completely seamless and stress-free. A massive, heartfelt thank you goes out to the owner, Janine. She is an absolute superstar! We dropped off our decorations the night before, and when we arrived the next morning, she had everything set up beautifully, even adding lovely extra touches to make the space look even more magical. Throughout the entire event, Janine was on top of everything--effortlessly helping us round up the kids and parents whenever it was time for the next activity on our agenda. When the party wrapped up, her outstanding service didn't stop. She helped us pop the balloon arch, handled the cleanup, and even meticulously organized all of our belongings into a wagon she let us borrow to load up our car. She truly went above and beyond to take the weight off my shoulders. The venue itself is immaculate, incredibly clean, and packed with wonderful opportunities for creative "imaginative play" that kept the kids thoroughly entertained. My daughter and all of her friends had an absolutely unforgettable time, and so many of the parents came up to rave about how fantastic the whole experience was. If you are looking for the perfect, stress-free venue to host your child's next birthday party, look no further than Imagination City. Janine and her team are spectacular!

I wasn't able to get my score card in round one because I didn't know how it worked. You are assigned a number and you are supposed to pick the correct vest with your game name on it. Many moons ago I did laser tag in SF and I think it was called Qzar and I remember when I got shot at, the orange vest would vibrate and it was like being electrocuted. As you can tell I wasn't very good, but I had fun back then. Thank goodness this place didn't electrocute me. Ha! Ha! It was fun. Good stress relief and great way to spend a birthday celebration where everyone had fun, learn something new and we all wrote a lovely birthday card question prompt to the birthday girl and she appreciated it. We came by on an afternoon during open gym - you pay a flat fee to get up to 4 hours of playtime. While there are some staff members present that might give a bit of guidance on how to go through the courses, it is relatively hands off and you are on your own. Parents can sit on the chairs on the side to watch, but can also go on the mat as needed to assist their kids. My son really enjoyed his experience here - when he started off, he could only go halfway up the warped wall but after a couple of hours of practice, was able to reach the top with his hand. He is already looking forward to his next visit here so he can try again. Everyone wears their outside shoes on the mat so I think that takes away a bit from the cleanliness of the place, especially on the type of rainy day that we came by. Bathrooms could have also been a bit better maintained - paper products were running low and soap ran out as well. Not a huge deal as we could work around this, just something that could be optimized for an even better experience.
