This location has truly impressed me since I first walked through the door. Yes this is a real review. I wanted to bring my nephew for a fun day out and it's been years since I've been to a chuck e cheese. When we first walk in, the greeter Tanner was warm and welcoming and told us about their monthly pass. He explained every benefit. It was as definitely the way to go! He directed us to the cashier who was also soooo kind and so helpful! She helped us sign up. We got 250 game credits with our monthly pass and 3 hours later, we've only been able to use half! I didn't realize every game here is only 1 credit! I will say, MOST of the games work. There were 3 with errors. That's out of 50 games. I mean even Dave and busters has more machine down. They easily credited us back for the credits lost. No questions asked. I believe the manager, older gentleman with glasses. Incredibly kind and personable. Working just as hard as everyone else. I've seen this man everywhere in the last 3 hours. That's the type of leadership that makes a store great. I am really impressed by this place. Although we can use the monthly pass anywhere; I'll definitely be using it here. Oh! One last thing, the pass gives 50% off of purchases, so we got a whole pizza and 2 drinks for $14. Oh how I miss the Chuck E. Cheese of my childhood. The staff was all friendly. We had our daughter's bday party here with just family. They no longer have a playground area in here. I was shocked when I saw that was gone. No clue when it was removed. It was basically all video games and little ride on rides. My two year old loved the little rides. She refused to get off. My five year old was so excited for the arcade games. We had pizza and wings and the salad. All the food was fresh. We had an issue with quite a few rides not working. And there was no picture paper. So we brought our complaints to their attention and they made everything right. They fixed the picture machines and did right by us. Awesome customer service. My daughter loved the visit with Chuck E. Cheese. She was dancing with him and giving him high fives. The staff was so patient and understanding. Overall we had a good time. I did add pepperoni to the large pizza for $2 and got boneless wings with barbecue sauce. Order was ready quickly. We went to @ChuckECheeses for Isabella's 3rd birthday. They do have various options for pizza, and tokens, so just ask a lot of questions before you pay. They either have a pass where you can play for a set time, or just buy credit. Me, I went for the credit, because if you buy the time limit, then everybody is rushing around ignoring each other, and if you are waiting to play a game that is busy, you are wasting time. If you buy credits, you can take your time playing, watch your friends play, or most importantly, go to the bathroom without wasting credits. Just like any arcade, there are always times with machines go down, or don't spit out tickets. That is where the staff here was really helpful. If a machine didn't work, they would just refund my credits while they worked on the machine. If machine was jammed and the tickets didn't spit out, they would help me out with them as well. When I placed the orders for the pizzas, I ordered a package with pepperoni pizzas, and ordered an extra pizza as well. I didn't notice that when I ordered the extra pizza, they only rang up a cheese pizza, not a pepperoni one. So when the pizzas came out, I asked them about it, they checked the receipt, and said that I was only charged for a cheese, but they gave me a great deal on a pepperoni pizza. I find myself visiting Chuck E. Cheese quite often at various locations. This location is extremely sketchy, and unsafe. Our car even got hit in the parking lot. This facility was by far the worst one yet on a sanitization level. Avoid if possible. Most of the games didn't work, either took your coin or didn't give you any tickets when owed. That alone became quit frustrating when continuously having to address the situation. I rated this establishment 2 stars instead of writing a review of zero stars for their staff & food. Their employees were very patient, and worked efficiently as possible to accommodate everyone. They were very friendly & kind, even gave us some extra tickets when fixing the games & testing them out while we waited. I did feel they were a little understaff for how busy it was, they could of used another employee at the front. The pizza was great like always! The new stuff crust was amazing, definite must have to try! We were even told all the ingredients are fresh with homemade dough, big plus. This was the first location I saw that had a buffet. I never tried theirs however, when entering & leaving the place it didn't look appealing at all. Almost as it was sitting out all day, but it wasn't. So if you're THAT mom (or dad) with THAT kid that either wont shut up or sit still for a minute - Chuck-e-cheese might be your hangout. Maybe you're just babysitting an obnoxious kiddo for the day - let them run wild here because they'll definitely blend in. Here are some drawbacks : -It costs money to let the kids play the games. I burned $5 in less than 10 minutes. Typical of places like these - If you think your kid is wild, there's an even crazier (sometimes with zero manners) kid and his parents aren't even watching him. So keep an eye on your kid please! The Good : There is this huge (10+ foot tall) horsie ride. You have to climb some steep stairs to get on the ride. The horse can seat a grown up and 2 small children and it rocks back and forth. This was a pretty unique ride, I'd never seen at Chuck-e's before. Security - The hostess stamps you and your child when you come in. The stamp can only be seen in UV light. My sister tried to walk out with my 9 month old (she was walking ahead of me) and they didn't let them out until I caught up to them I thought that was awesome. The staff tries to keep an eye on the kids and make sure each child leaves with the adult they arrived with initially. -You don't have to order food to enjoy the games Chuck-e-Cheeses is in the Babies R US shopping plaza. As the kid gets bigger and mobile, I see more Chucke visits in our future. read more

I am strongly trying to ensure I write this review in the context of the kid whose birthday to which I was invited. As an adult, I would never enter this place in a million years, and likely if it were my child, I'd probably pick differently. Hard to tell for the kids except that they are outrageously stimulated in the most cheesy way possible. It's not a pun, just this place is beyond goofy. 1. Giant mechanical cartoon characters playing in some kind of band on stage. You must be joking! I wonder what that cost. Seriously goofy, but if I'm a kid, ok, cute. But that's it. 2. Token system for the video games. I hate that. How about just quarters? Oh. I know why - so you can buy too many tokens and have no refund and nothing of value left going out the door. 3. Pizza was just ok. Served with bug juice (over-sweetened kool-aid). And this was the best part of the experience. 4. This is a nuclear detonation of spastic kids on sugar. There's blast (running kids), heat (screaming kids), and radiation (smelly kids and sugar). This is really a horrific atmosphere. (Sorry, I said I'd try to review in kid-context - that was my adult slip-up) 5. Here's the kicker. Except for the video games and birthday and pizza, they made the kid wait 20 minutes while looking at his cake, while the mechanical characters did skits and sang. The poor kid wanted his cake and presents, but got to stare at his cake for that time while they planted an INFLATABLE guitar in his hands for him to pretend play while he was still looking at his cake. You must be JOKING! After 120 minutes on site, he could still not open his presents because of the cake/character/guitar fiasco. Whoa. As a kid, I would be pissed. Weird place. Weird experience. Not sure what kind of kid this appeals to. Two stars because of the play area and pizza was decent. Well, it's Chuck E. Cheese. What do you expect? It's loud with kids aplenty. We actually went for a friend's kid's birthday party so we were actually without kids which was weird. The small salad bar was actually decent and we got a pizza with everything and it came out decently fast. I was amused they have beer and could see many parents needing to indulge to handle the noise. We sat by the windows so the chaos wasn't deafening. It's a fun place for kids. What kid doesn't like Chuck-E-Cheese?? I should admit that I'm pretty much a big kid, so ole Chuck-E's place appeals to me- especially when I can bring along my niece and nephews (all under age 8). The food (we had pizza) was muuuuuch better than I remembered- it was actually surprisingly delicious! It came out fast and hot! We were happy! The pleasantness of staff there is hit or miss. Some were great, some were not. The games didn't all work- a few ate our tokens, but I'm sure if we asked, we would have gotten them back. Took my grandkids to Chuck E. Cheese to celebrate my grandson's 5th birthday today. I purchased a party pack for 15 kids. I arrived 15 minutes late and tha party was schelduled to run 2 hours. After 50 minutes in the party was officially over. The hostess rushed the party along so quickly. She had us eating the cake before i could finish ordering pizza for all the kids. I talked to the managers (3) of them and seems like there was nothing that they could do about it. The party costs $230.00 and it was over within 45mins. I will be contacting corporate first thing monday morning. I dont mind paying 230.00 for 2 hrs but not 45 mins. This was the worst party i have ever given and it wasnt due to me. SMH read more

Came here with family. The employees are very nice and accommodating, the place is clean and the games are set up/spaced out well. The buffet is not the best. Came around 12:30 and there was 4 slices of pizza, 3 bread sticks (which I couldn't get because the tongues were so hot it burned) and lettuce for salad. Our party had 4 adults and 3 kids. I was expecting a salad bar the size of their entire buffet, nope just lettuce and dressing. The pizza was so greasy, and I know "duh, pizza is suppose to be greasy" but this was next level. Not a big selection of pizza but we got to eat. THEN two buses showed up & 1.5 million kids poured in, at least I thought it was 1.5 but more like 100. The staff was overwhelmed but did a good job. ****About to leave and my son who had a ticket receipt for 180 tickets won went up to the toy counter and handed over his ticket, he got one item that was 125 tickets and the counter worker then threw away his ticket and didn't give him anything else for the remaining 55 tickets. Yesterday was the wee ones birthday. I thought what a better place to take her for her first birthday that to ride a couple look kids rides for her first time and see the lights. We arrived at about noon. Lunch time and the wife and I had not eaten yet. As we walked in we see all you can eat pizza for 7.50. Wife loves pizza and I wouldn't mind a pizza buffet being a man and all. We walked and the attendant came right over. Put that you can't get out with out your kid or some else's kid( if you had kids why would you take more than just your home?? Yea I want another kids screaming my name all day). Anyway we go over to the rides and game. Lights flashing everything clean it has a start of the day smell. The little one was tired so I thought to myself, let's eat while she sleeps a bit. We pay for the buffet and being a coke a cola man seeing Pepsi makes me order water 10/10 times. We ask them to make a supreme pizza which they happily did. We eat pizza but it wasn't the pizza I remembered them having. It seem like they have changed to a frozen pizza and maybe add a couple toppings if you need other than pepperoni or cheese. It really tasted like a box pizza out of the freezer section of Kroger. They did have a salad and breadsticks. They were good. Then he brought out a cinnamon bun pizza thing. I then went to refill our water for the third time. As I do I see Mold in the cups floating around. I worked in the restaurant business for a while and if you don't clean you drink machine tips and dispenser parts they grow mold. My wife calmly told the manager who apologized and gave up bottled water. He went straight over and started taking the machine apart and cleaning it. The gentlemen who was checking ever game to make sure it worked while leaving tickets behind for anyone who wanted to take them gave us a handful for the baby. The people who work there were very nice and I cant blame them for the food but I hope they do start cleaning that machine better. I decided to check it out with my son on Sunday. Oh my, this place is awful. The place is extremely dirty and germy. My son and I have come down with the stomach flu, and the place smelled of feces and vomit. At one point, I had to crawl up into the play structure because my son got scared at the top. It was horrifying, and I can see why my son and I got sick. Warning, I'm about to get graphic. Feces, urine, saliva, hair, gum, food, and worst of all...a pile of fresh vomit dripping down the slide entrance. Many of the games are out of order, and slimy. Our food took forever to come out, and it was the worst meal I've ever had. The location is horrible. Very shady area of Raleigh, and it's in a horrible looking strip mall. Avoid this place like the plague...especially because it will give you the plague! read more

This must be the worst Chuck e Cheese in the country. Granted, we brought two kids on a rainy Saturday so we expected busy, but holy shit this place is bad. Lines at almost every game, 25% of the games steal your token outright and another 25% won't give you tickets. Just when you think salvation is near and you've got the exit in sight, there's a 20 minute wait to count your tickets because only one counting machine works and 20 more minutes to belly up to the cheap chinese crap and candy counter. It's enough to make a conservative Christian want to get into a fist fight. No worries if you do and happen to get a few teeth knocked out. You an always stop by the place next store, Gold Grillz, and get a few gold teeth to replace those you lost and... oh fuck it... why not go one more door down and get that tat you always wanted at Romantic Torture Tattoo. The staff working today was beyond amazing! When we first got there the kids were inquisitive about the stamps and the lady working the front was showing them the invisible ink. Then when they were giving the tokens my youngest son went to grab the tokens and two got jammed and the girl just said oh 2 got stuck and just gave us 2 more. At the end they were really patient with the 3 kids splitting their coupons and keeping track of what each kid could pick from. She never got inpatient with the kids. I have been to plenty of Chuck E Cheeses across the country and this one has had the best customer service hands down! read more

I took my 6-year-old here for her birthday along with her 4-year-old sister and 3-year-old brother. We went on a Tuesday evening when there were only a few other families, so my experience may not reflect what it's like to go on a crowded weekend. The place was clean other than a slight musty smell by the soda fountain. I guess it's just too wet over there to avoid some mildew. The food was hot, served quickly, and surprisingly delicious. The prices are in line with what you'd pay at a fast casual place and I was not disappointed. I loved that they had a staff member whose entire job appeared to be monitoring the machines for malfunctions. He quickly refunded my token when it got eaten by a game. Having someone like that walking around kept things going much more smoothly. The games were fun and my husband and I ended up playing some ourselves. They also had a play structure so we didn't need an excessive number of tokens for the kids to stay entertained. The animatronics were kind of creepy, but the kids seemed mildly interested in them and the music wasn't bad. It wasn't annoying to have it in the background. Over all my kids had a ton of fun and that's what mattered most. We plan to come back. My one complaint is the location - it's in a strip mall with places like "Romantic Torture Tattoos" and "Gold Grillz" right next door, along with a barber shop that had a crowd of loud, not-quite-sober loiterers hanging around the entire time we were there. I would highly recommend leaving before dark, always entering and leaving as a group, and parking as close to the front door as possible. Not sure what the bad reviews were for - haven't read them- but we had a great time. The restaurant was clean, not packed and the food came out perfect. Kids enjoyed the pizza, which looked good! I got the gluten free pizza and that was decent- not bad at all. For those extremely GF sensitive it came in its own wrapper with its Own plastic sealed pizza cutter. No cross contamination. Kids ordered churros which they enjoyed. The only complaint from the kids was that it was hard to win a lot of tickets. Go figure! I went around 4pm and there were already shady people hanging outside the entrance cussing, cat calling, smoking (weed)... Every other Chuck E Cheese that we have been to has been a great experience - good food, fun games. However, this has to be the WORST one that we have been to. and here is 2 reasons why - 1. The pizza was not tasty. I could have done better buying a frozen pizza from the grocery store and putting it in the oven myself. 2. There were employees going through and resetting the jackpots on all the games. My husband is quite good at playing those kinds of games and when we spend $50-$100 in tokens, we usually walk away with several thousands of tickets. Last night, we had a total of about 600 - between all of us. He was playing a game and the jackpot was rather high. Our food came, and when we sat down to eat, and he watched the game to see if anyone hit the jackpot. No one won, however, the attendant went to the game, hit the reset button and the jackpot went back down to the minimum Who does that??? Would it not make more sense to keep the jackpot high so people keep on putting in tokens to win?? This has put a bad taste in our mouth and we will NOT be visiting again. Had the employees not been shady and it was just nasty pizza, we probably would. But to be rigging the games like that? The worst Chuck E. Cheese I have been to. There is no play structure and not a lot to do for little kids. When we visited yesterday there was a summer camp there all in yellow shirts. The two ladies that were supposed to be watching the kids weren't and they were running around begging others for their tokens as they didn't have any. This went on for close to an hour. I couldn't allow my six year old to take some tokens and play games because I know he'd give them away. What's worse is the male employee did nothing because he stated he was a service guy, even though he stamped us when we came in and ran the cash register. If you're going to have a group of campers in there they should be monitoring the situation. A lot of the games weren't running properly. Some took the tokens, others didn't dispense tickets when you won. The most bizarre one was the mock roller coaster game that you have to giggle the wire to get to run. There is no climbing structure so once you're done with games that's really it. It's on the smaller side and in a shady little strip mall in a crappy part of Raleigh. The pizza was standard for Chuck E. Cheese (we don't go for the food). We will travel further next time the kids want to go to Chuck E. Cheese and avoid this location. read more
