Just when I thought our CEC days were behind us, they threw us a curveball with a layout refresh and the addition of the adventure zone (an indoor playground and trampoline space for an additional fee.) My little guy loves to jump himself silly, slide, climb and play with his new "friends". In between they hit the games and its truly a nice well rounded experience all in one place. I snagged a Fun Pass that gives 40game credits per day(pretty much 40 games/rides) daily for two months! It also gives discounts on the adventure zone, food, and additional game credits (though we've never needed to do so). It's such a great deal and great offering at the Parkville location. read more

READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK YOUR PARTY AT THIS LOCATION! We hosted our daughters 1st birthday at this location yesterday and it was a disaster. Angel is my last baby and this was our final first birthday party and the first big celebration of her life. We paid to have it at Chuck E Cheese because we wanted it to be special. We had our first 2 kid's 1st birthday parties at home and I was so busy hosting, it felt like I missed everything. We figured this way, the staff would take care of everything for us so we could just enjoy our guests, our baby girl, & her big day. Instead, they dropped the ball over and over again. Here are the major issues: Even though we pre ordered the food ahead of time, we had to reorder everything when we arrived. We didn't receive the kids play passes for over 20 minutes, which cut into the 2 hour party time we had booked. It took even longer than that to receive the food. Only one table was decorated, not both. The table next to ours had decorations thrown on the floor as though they cleaned up from a previous party and threw everything on the floor. (This was our 2nd table, the one they didn't bother to redecorate for us) We ordered French fry platters for the table but received little baskets of fries instead, only 3 for 2 tables of people. This was never corrected, and we weren't refunded. Some of the pizzas were clearly not made fresh. We ordered a sheet cake but nobody thawed it in time. So the woman brought out a small round cake because it was time to sing to Angel. We didn't cut it because it wasn't big enough for everyone. They didn't bring out the sheet cake we paid for until close to 5, so the guests never got cake. We still had to leave at 5, as originally scheduled, even though we got the Play Passes, food, and cake super late. We didn't get extra time to make up for the time we lost through no fault of our own. We paid for a 2 hour party but we did not get one. We ate the sheet cake when we got home and it had not defrosted properly. It was dry and inedible. Another waste of money. I feel like we were robbed, not only because of the money (paying for fry platters we didn't get and an inedible cake and a 2 hour party that started late because the staff wasn't prepared and ended up being more like 90 minutes). But we were also robbed of the happy memories we should have made, and the fun experience our uncomfortable guests should have had. I wanted to cry. This was Angel's only 1st birthday party. We don't get a redo. There's no way to make this up. We will never be coming back. read more

Just ok. What used to be a trip down nostalgia is now more like a childhood introduction to gambling machines. The birthday party experience we recently had was tainted by the employee serving us actually requesting a cash tip. What's weird is that the credit card bill didn't include a feature for tipping, so this employee's tip request seemed unsanctioned and sketchy at best. Consider yourself warned. read more

I love this chick E. Cheese, it's a great place to bring my nephew. Very clean and safe during the pandemic. The food is also so good, I love the pizza since I was a kid. It's interesting how things evolve. They have Chuck E. Cheese and the gang virtually now instead Of the giant machines. The only reason why I gave them a 4/5 is because no one there seems to actually like their job. They all hate it and you can tell. Other than that everything is fine. read more

It was dirty and the food was raw and cold. The Tables were really dirty and left a mess. The Workers were careless about this and never acknowledged it. Even after I see them walk past and see it. I totally expected this place to be mobbed on black friday for lunch and surprisingly it was probably 35% to 40% full at best. They had a good black friday special for food, candy, game play. The only thing that was bad was that they kept announcing that chuck e cheese was gonna come out and do the ticket blaster and the mouse no showed. We went up and asked and they said that a bunch of their employees no showed that day. They are so lucky not that many ppl came for lunch. I'm giving this place the benefit of the doubt. This is a relatively large gaming space with a lot of options for the kiddies. The games are new and most of them seemed to work fine. I saw a manager working, which was a good sign and I really like how Chuck E Cheese himself comes out and does a little performance. My daughter and her friends love that. They also stamp your hand and your kids' hands when you walk in the door which is a nice safety measure. And hey, its pizza and games. You can't go wrong, right? Its like a child's fantasy.. The one problem is that its also "Baltimore City's Chuck E Cheese"... or so it would seem. We were there on a Sunday evening for a friend's birthday and it was VERY crowded and 80% of that crowd is not the kind of people I would ever want to share a space or associate with. Their nasty, rude, gross and they smell bad (like a particular plant). I was literally high after an hour of being around them. But aside from the bad visuals, I think going here on a weekday morning is probably quiet a pleasant experience. Its the "people" that go here that are the problem.. the ones that act like wild hyenas and throw trash everywhere while their 10 kiddies steal tickets and run without supervision. But that's not Chuck E Cheese's fault at all so they can't be blamed. My suggestion.. go here in the mornings and avoid the weekends. read more

I am already not a fan of places like this. Let's say after my experience here I still have no desire to return. Service was poor. The food ordered took forever to come and then it was cold. The place was pretty dirty. Soda machine area was nasty as well as the play area. Let me guess the clean up person must have been off this day. I only came thinking this would allow my grandson to have some fun but, now I have pray that with all the germs in that place that he does not get sick. By far the best Chuck E Cheese in the Baltimore! Brand new in March of 2015. Immaculately clean (unlike the sticky everything at other locations), friendly staff, brand new games you can't find at other locations, and extremely light crowds! (Though that will probably change once the word gets out!) Tips: Bring coupons from the newspaper for huge savings. Tickets can be bought at one cent a piece towards prizes. read more

This was the worst experience EVER!!!!! I have never been so upset about the customer service, OR LACK THERE OF. The employees left a lot to be desired. I will sincerely try never to come back to this location. first off, when we got there, only one girl was working the cashier and the ticket section so we had to wait about 15 minutes to even order and pay. then when we were seated at a table not marked RESERVED, we were asked to move because it was reserved even though nothing was posted. Then after we moved to another table in the back, I noticed no one was seating at that table the entire time that my party was there. We felt like we were not wanted there. Then I went back to the cashier to ask for a salad bar to go before I left. she helped a lady and her children in line before me. Wen it was my turn, she said hello, I said hi as I was walking up to the register. Before I could say what I wanted, She then proceeds to turn and talk to two other employees about how she needed to save her money because she trying to buy a car and she need to afford the insurance..... all while I'm just standing there waiting to order my salad. They never turned to take my order ever though they were standing right in front of me. As my fury rages on, the girl from the ticket counter finally walked over and took my order while the other three continued to watch my transaction and converse. the level of professionalism is non existent. the Chuck E character that comes out for birthdays was so pathetic and pitiful because he was acting like he didn't want to be there at all and he was not interacting very much with the kids. Some of the games were broken with no out of order signs posted and still taking our money. They replayed the same music videos over and over. My son had his first birthday here in March 2020. I didnt exactly book the party package BUT the manager treated me and family just like we did. It was a last minute effort on my part but the staff definitely did their thing. I was treated with the BEST service I have ever received. I recently went back last weekend during their COVID-19 procedures and this place was spotless. There was only about 10 people in the facility and the entire hour I was there I saw everyone cleaning. I felt safe and I love how they went above and beyond to keep the facility safe. I love this place. I love the management. Great service. Thanks for all you guys do! read more

PARENTS BEWARE! This is one of the worst places in Maryland to have your kids birthday party. I guess you get what you pay for when you have a bunch of teenagers who could care less that it's your kid's birthday. Had to keep asking for pizza and drink refills. The cake was never brought out until we reminded them about it and guests were getting ready to leave and almost everyone had left when they handed out our gift bags which we reminded them of also. I haven't been to a Chuck E Cheese in almost 10 years mainly because I hate the thought of being around a bunch of kids. My sister and nephew came to town so we decided to take the kids on a Monday afternoon so they could have pizza and play games. I was pleasantly surprised with our experience there overall. They had a lunch pizza buffet for just $4 for the kids and $6 for adults. We also found a special online for 100 tokens for $20. I didn't realize every game only cost 1 token so that 100 got us far. We all ended up having a great time because there wasn't a lot of people there considering the time of day on a Monday so we jumped from game to game and ate pizza freely. The entire staff were friendly so it was an overall great experience. The only negatives I have is I wish the buffet had more options and they were out of some of the different salad dressings. Also the prize selection kind of sucks but the kids were happy so that's all that mattered! read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had. I went to a bday party, they could not find the reservation. The mom had to go back home and get her receipt.. they over booked. It was so crowded.. most of the games were broken and would take ur coins. The tickets would not come out and the line to exchange your tickets was crazy.. the organization was crazy bad and u come in the same door u leave out of and the employees at the door was getting confused. I don't recall visiting a Chuck E. Cheese in my life. But, I've heard horror stories. My experience wasn't that bad. My 5 year old niece was super excited when she heard that Auntie was taking her here. Her response: "But, it's not my birthday! ." Found a spot relatively close to the entrance, and stood in line less than 5 minutes. I like that they stamp your hand and the child that's with you, to avoid abductions. We stood in line to order our pizza and tokens. Helpful hint. Go online to the location's site and present the coupon on your phone to the cashier to save $. The cashier gave us a number to place on our table so that the server can deliver our pizza. We were escorted to our table and took out coats off. Now, time to play games! My niece had a ball playing the various games. She especially loved when the other kids forgot to take their tickets out of the dispenser. Hehe. It's now been roughly 30 minutes and all of the tables around us, including folks that were seated after us, have received their pizzas. I grabbed a server to inquire and said she'd check after I showed her my receipt. She disappeared. It's now 40 minutes and I get another server. Same thing. Didn't return with my receipt, nor did she come back to the table to report what happened. Finally, after 45 minutes we got our pizza. My niece is starving by this time. She scarfed down her pizza and went back to playing. Once the tokens ran out, we redeemed them. The woman behind the prize counter was really sweet when Tori, my niece, wanted prizes that didn't align to her tickets. Besides the pizza fiasco, this location is fairly new and surprisingly clean. Went last Saturday for a birthday party. The place was so crowded that there was a line at the door. We only got in because we were there for a party. A ton of the games were out of order, there were kids climbing all over them with no parent in sight. There was a girl actually laying on top of the bowling game. I almost shoved a kid out of the way who jumped in front of my 5 year old after she put her token in a machine to start playing. Again, his parent was nowhere around. A scuffle almost broke out at one of the tables in the game area between 2 adults (I use this term loosely). The girls who run the birthday parties are always really nice and helpful though. I walked in expecting the sweaty feet smell and screaming kids climbing in the balls---I got neither. The good: three years old and six year old loved it. The various game attractions were fun. The place was very clean and bright. Bad: The food was dreadful. Probably the worst wings and chicken nuggets ever experienced. And the service took forever. We were told that the location reached capacity but despite people coming out, we could not go in. We were then told that even if we did not want a table, we had to wait until tables became available. Although I had an issue with this policy, I chalked it up and waited. My neice had to use the bathroom while we were waiting and we were told that under no circumstances could someone enter even if it were to use the bathroom and come right back out. I have never been to an establishment that does not allow a customer who is waiting to use the bathroom. I think there polices are unusual with the latter being ridiculous. read more

It's Chuck E Cheese... Loud, lots of kids, cardboard pretending to be pizza. This location doesn't have the climb through tubes and no Chuck E band, just a tv playing music videos, some of which weren't very kid friendly. Games were sub par and disappointing. There are a lot of games, but most only give 2 tickets, regardless of how well you do. Too many games were malfunctioning, they took money, let you play and gave no tickets at all. Only 2 of the ticket munchers were working. Prizes, typical junk that require lots of tickets. read more

We hadn't been to a Chuck E Cheese's for several years. We had a good time today at this location. The young lady at the entrance was welcoming and explained the new Play Pass. Everything on the menu looked appetizing, we only got pizza and water today but looking forward to trying other foods next time. They even have a gluten free pizza. There were plenty of tables to sit down. When there was an issue with the games management was there to fix. The bathrooms were clean. There was plenty of parking. A good selection of prizes to choose from. The only thing I can think needs improvement is the photo machine, I don't know if it was the ink or the machine but the copies didn't come out very good. read more
