I came to this Chuck E Cheese when my kids were younger (26 years ago)... Walked in and the process of having a hand stamp even on babies and small children with adults is good however not sanitary and if a kid has sensitive skin it could be problematic. It has been definitely revamped over the years. The rides and games are all one credit; all requiring a paid card lowest is $22 for 30 credits. The food is still as such 26 years ago and even costly. Now all was going well until there was a caliper of patrons (at a birthday party to be exact). This young lady cursed her 3 year old child out for crying and told her she was going ro beat her and going to smoke. She was making a scene. A member of the party said something to her about her language and she went off on a rampage cursing and saying she can talk to her child however and do whatever she wants. Disregarding others. The mood of having the near same caliper of folks continued. I ended my stay with the party I was attending with my small kids as it is not suitable for children and families as the young staff did not say anything to make the stay comfortable and respectful for all patrons. Renovated Chuck E Cheese looks great. Kids loved the ninja course and trampoline. This is one of the only Chuck E Cheeses in the area with both. The bathrooms and dining areas were clean. Food service turnaround was good. General service was just OK. The ninja course / trampoline attendant was not very present or maintaining order, he was on his phone the entire time. Some games did not work and i did not see anyone attending to broken games. Food pricing is intentionally high and makes more sense to signup for the subscription to get the food discounts and game credits. It pays for itself in two visits. read more

Hmm, unsure of my final thoughts to be honest- overall, the experience was positive, but solely because I went to this location on a Mommy Date with my daughter- her happiness playing was 5 star experience- but she didn't notice any of the woes I did & I guess I should rate based on them.... some things are maybe less the location's fault & more woes with the Chuck E Cheese changes...but all in all....woes -the card swipe/ time structure was frustrating- we tried to pay for 30mins- the kiosk makes it really hard to get through 'add-on this, that, this, that' options- sell up sell up sell up - selecting the time limit seemed logical for pricing- except most of the machines kept malfunctioning, wasting a lot of time- many machines didn't work or said 'too soon' the location was relatively clean, but the ample malfunctioning machines was frustrating- when I went to talk to manager about losing our last 5minutes because the machine was malfunctioning- she blamed me for 'not doing things right' & was extremely rude about 'me wanting extra'- I tried to explain nicely, I told my daughter we had 5 mins (aka one more game) but the games kept malfunctioning- we tried 3 different ones- and we couldn't play anything- I was hoping we could just do one last game & they can even look into the malfunctioning ones (skee ball lanes with no balls- crab gun with a broken gun- photo booth that doesn't print the photos because no ink) we weren't planning on eating food there & I'm super glad we didn't because the salad bar looked disgusting- it also seemed like people waiting on food were standing in line complaining about the wait (even being there on a nearly empty Thurs night) it took awhile to 'cash out' tickets because staff were in the back, unavailable- when we finally cashed out we had 566 tickets- my daughter picked an item that was 500- then told me she wanted to pick something out for her little brother with her extras- except the staff girl walked away into the back- took a fair bit of calling 'excuse me' to try to get someone back out- when she came out, I explained she wanted to use the rest of her tickets and the girl said to my daughter, "you already got a big item"-it was horrible to have to argue for tickets our card clearly said we had- ..so overall, the frustration with the card structure- oh & the cheap toy rewards- is a Chuck E Cheese thing, but the malfunctioning equipment & the rude staff is a location problem- read more

My son has wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese's for the longest, but it hasnt seemed like a very good idea over the past couple years. Since he's about to turn six we decided to surprise him with a visit. Man, this kid was so excited when we pulled up! "THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER!!", he screamed right next to unsuspecting right ear. I felt some sort of way about that, but. carrying on. Alot has changed since I've been to one of these places. 1. Cards instead of coins and tickets. (Definitely more convenient imo.) 2. There're a couple machine you purchase you're play cards from to the left. I did notice after the fact that you'll get a discount if you order your food and purchase your cards at the same time. Tons of fun games for the kids, and a little dance floor that lights up. Everyone was polite..well, like teenage polite. No fillers and no smiles, but they're doing what they're supposed to be doing. I'm good with that. We ordered a large pizza, some wings and a couple drinks for like 50 bucks. It was ok. Wasn't a great experience, I feel like I wasted my money for my son's party. Definitely did not receive what we paid for in the package. No one was there to greet or direct us, it took 20 minutes for party guest to receive game cards, never received goodie bags for the kids, or the specified pizza for my son who can't eat cheese; I spoke to 3 different people about this. Horrible experience ever! The worst party that ever happened, I regretted a lot. I'm just so ashamed how the party went. Booked an ultimate fun expecting that we would get the best kind of package as that package was top notch among others but very poor service. The "designated party host" didn't even lead the party, no briefing at all, food came very late and one by one. If I didn't followed up she wouldn't know, I asked her every now and then not even talking to the guests present. I loathe this place. I have two daughters who are 4 and 5, and I've been here maybe 3 times since I've had them. I hate it. Seriously, hate it. The main crowd that occupies this place these days are incredibly obnoxious, rude, and pushy. I'm assuming because it's free to get it. The food is sub-par, and service is just 'ok'. You can pretty much tell everyone that works here hates their job. On top of that, it seems like every time I've been there, prices have gone up considerably, and there just seems like less to do. I've had a lot of birthday parties for my kids here and they loved them. But last weekend we had one and I was very disappointed and it will be the last party I have here. With the stage being gone it's not so special and there wasn't even standing room between our party and the next. The whole thing was very rushed my son was told to do the ticket blaster literally 1 min after cutting cake. And we had to move from our table before the 2 hours was up. The girl who did our party was friendly and tried her best! But the guy up front didn't even stamp my kids arms or anything on the way in or check on the way out. First when we were at the line i was standing there for awhile don't know which one is the line so when the caShier is open i went in and someone complaining saying that they are in the line. Actually, it's not all that bad -- the kids love it, which I guess is the point. This location is pretty good overall, and as these places go is kept relatively clean. The pizza isn't bad either, and the prices are actually very reasonable -- if you hit the internets up you can get coupons that get you a whole boatload of tokens, a pizza, and four sodas for about $30. The funniest part is when the poor sucker in the Chuck suit is paraded about by his handlers, throwing tickets into the air. This place is alright. I wish the parking lot was actually next to the building instead of having to cross a street to get to it. That's hard to do with an infant and toddler. I like that admission is free, actually I love free admission. The kids can go crazy for about $5 bucks worth of coins and they're happy to please, as long as they get enough tickets for a lollipop. There is a small selection of food. Pizza, breadsticks, salad, and some other generic appetizers. I personally really like the bread sticks, they serve them with marinara and ranch dressing. DS likes them too. You can also use the salad bar, if you like salad. So for under $10 bucks we can play for hours, eat a snack and run around like crazy. I always bring the kids and myself a drink because theirs are overpriced, imo. Overall a very good day! Staff is ok. I can tell the lady that does the hand stamps really likes kids, which is nice to see and not some teenager who hates his/her job. Nobody has ever been rude or disrespectful. VERY IMPORTANT: If you have younger than school age kids, go before 12 on a weekday, like get there at 9:30-10 and leave before 12-1. Only one person working the register and it was 6 people waiting in line. Maybe my standards are just entirely too high but this location is one of the worst spots I have been at. Very disappointed. This was our preferred location for many years due to the fact that it had an awesome playground. However, the renovations they have done are horrible. They removed the playground and animatronic show. Chucky no longer does the Chucky dance and ticket splash. They installed T.V.s and most of the games are gone or broken. They always have wayyy too many people in the building which makes me believe the Fire Marshall has never stepped foot in there on a busy day. If you have a birthday party there where you pay close to 300, it's not worth it. They have close to 4 parties at the same time, they all fight over Chuck, you have kids trying to steal your children's tickets from their pinata, & I've even had ppl steal a present from my son, but I replaced it because I noticed it before I got home. Went this place several times in last three years, everything are same but different employees. This visit I noticed that it got worst than previous visits. The floor below the soda fountains was very sticky. The fountains need some repairs, the soda came out the spout but the water came out via the boxes above the spouts. It was several boxes that were leaking, wetting your hand when you fill your cup with soda. It was not cool! Also I noticed seven tables were not cleaned up, there were only three families here at 4 pm Thursday. I see five employees and no one cleaned tables. Two were standing at the front, one were coloring the paper and other was watching her coloring. Do you need two at the front? Also salad bar looked horrible, all ice cubes were in the containers, melting, leaving water standing on the cottage cheese, dressings and others. It was gross sights. We noticed that the pizza bread is now thin, we like it very much. Also I noticed that bathroom cleaner was left unattended in the restroom counter, kids can reach it. On Sunday January 11th, we hosted my son's 3rd birthday at Chuck E. Cheese in Glen Burnie. The best surprise of the day was working with a woman by the name of Marie. She was wonderful with my son, he took to her instantly and she was gracious in taking care of our group's needs. I'm not the 'overly fun mom' who likes subjecting herself to 100 screaming children running rampant and she made sure to keep me up to speed on the events of the party and helped to corral our group so no one missed an event. I appreciated her patience and her excellent communication skills as well as her willingness to follow my son around and help him on and off rides while I was tending to party guests. So I have a disabled child abd she loves chucjy chese and we always go to the Annapolis location abd its awsome. We happen to be in glenn burnie so we desided to go there big mistake . first off they wete out of everything. To go boxes for example. We had 2 slicws of oizza and a few wings and all the had was a large pizza box. We orders a brownie that never came and when i asked the cashier about it she said oh im bot sure what happened. Seemwd like she had no clue what to do. Ny daughter loves the rides that take your picture and only 1 was in working order and had no oaoer in it for pictures and again the same girl had no clue how to get paper o she just said she will let manager know . never did i guess . it was so dirty. Our table had gum stick to it. I have never given a review however the custoner servuce in this place was terrible. Every employee I cane in co tact with had no clue how or what to do about anything. Had my daughters 3rd Birthday here, management is terrible. Summer was the manager I dealt with, her attitude sucked. There was hair cooked into my pizza, and after someone brlught it up ... it was quickly ignored. Towards the end my hostess told me one thing, and afterwards charged me for what she had previously told me I wouldn't be charged for. I brought it to Summers attention, she said I was lying and the hostess said she never said that. Just came home from Chuckie Cheese in Glen Burnie. Horrible! Worst ever! The staff was unfriendly and definelty not kid friendly. Took them 1 hr and 5 min to deliver an order of chicken nuggets and french fries. Both were raw and still frozen when I recieved them. I am not the only person that had this problem. After fighting the manager for a refund I decided to eat a salad. Even worse mistake! Everything was slimy and brown. Children were sticking their hands directly in the food and staff was watching and not acting. And to top it all off there was no Chuck appearance at all!
