My son has wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese's for the longest, but it hasnt seemed like a very good idea over the past couple years. Since he's about to turn six we decided to surprise him with a visit. Man, this kid was so excited when we pulled up! "THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER!!", he screamed right next to unsuspecting right ear. I felt some sort of way about that, but. carrying on. Alot has changed since I've been to one of these places. 1. Cards instead of coins and tickets. (Definitely more convenient imo.) 2. No pit of balls (for the best..again, imo) 3......can't think of a 3, it seemed cleaner They still stamp everyone when you go in, and check when you leave. There're a couple machine you purchase you're play cards from to the left. I did notice after the fact that you'll get a discount if you order your food and purchase your cards at the same time. Tons of fun games for the kids, and a little dance floor that lights up. Everyone was polite..well, like teenage polite. No fillers and no smiles, but they're doing what they're supposed to be doing. I'm good with that. We ordered a large pizza, some wings and a couple drinks for like 50 bucks. It was ok. I mean, I don't think anyone has ever gone to Chuck E Cheeses for some great pizza and wings! It is, what it is. You do it for the kiddos. My son enjoyed every minute of the visit. Every last minute! It was such a great feeling to see him have this experience.

Only one me having a ball watching my babies have fun

Man...freakin Chuck E Cheese. Can't wait for my kids to grow out of this phase. Can't go more than 2 stars here. The A/C seemed to be running at about 80 degrees with a ton of people here...not cool...literally. Check out he pic of the outstanding service they give their patrons. Damn it it's CEC...it is what is. For the kids not for the parents.

My kiddo had so much fun at this specific location.

That manager always come and check on her customer and when she has extra time she check on the kids and most time she plays games with them. I love the kind of interaction the manager name is Marie . This places is always clean , and if a game machine is not working . The guy will come and fives right away

I loathe this place. I have two daughters who are 4 and 5, and I've been here maybe 3 times since I've had them. I hate it. Seriously, hate it. The main crowd that occupies this place these days are incredibly obnoxious, rude, and pushy. I'm assuming because it's free to get it. The food is sub-par, and service is just 'ok'. You can pretty much tell everyone that works here hates their job. On top of that, it seems like every time I've been there, prices have gone up considerably, and there just seems like less to do. The games are very limited and most of them are a rip off, and the play area is so much tinier than it was when I was a kid. It's pretty much just your run-of-the-mill fast food restaurant play place. There are better places to take your kids to play. Trust me. As far as the parents go, the majority are as obnoxious as their little brats. It doesn't help that they serve beer now.

The one in Severna Park is one of my favorites to take the kiddos because it has a great mix of interactive toys and buildings. Just to name a few: - an area for crafts - one of those motorized air funnels that you can put a scarf in - ice cream store - grocery store - doctor's office - vets office - a recycling truck with slots to sort different recyclables - a play house with kitchen stuff - pretend firetruck and firehouse with hose and slide You can also opt into extra add ons that allow you to participate in crafts you can take home (think DIY activities like slime). I like that there's only a finite number of spaces for time slots so it never gets too crowded. You should check their website before going just in case they're sold out (I believe they do allow walk ins though). They also have punch cards for a slightly discounted rate. It's usually around $18 for a single visit, but comes out to like $15 a visit with a punch card at the time of this post. I would totally recommend for little ones, but they may start to get bored for any ages 5 or older.

When we arrived, we were greeted with an easy check-in process. If you haven't signed the waiver online, you can quickly scan and sign it on-site. The staff was friendly and explained how everything worked. The space itself is fantastic! It's an open playground where kids can freely explore and play to their hearts' content. There are fun zones for every interest--a craft area near the cubbies, a science section by the check-in counter, and a little shop filled with books and small activities at the entrance. There's even a food token system: you drop the token off when you leave, and each kid gets a free snack, which is such a thoughtful touch. The restrooms are conveniently located at the back near the slide area, so everything you need is nearby. Overall, this is a well-organized, kid-friendly spot that offers so much for little ones to enjoy. We'll definitely be back!

Rolly Pollies was booked for their open play and I remembered The Bounce Party in the mall. It is also on Groupon. Win win. It is located by Gold's Gym. They have three bounce houses and a toy section for two and under. The bounce houses are old but still in working condition. The best part was honestly the staff. Usually when I visit places for open play the staff does not interact a lot or they just talk to each other. The girls working on Black Friday were very attentive. We were there with two other boys but they kept an eye on everyone. I have a 4 year old and a two year old. When one wanted my attention the staff watched the other one. It was great. I would definitely recommend if you need to go some where to burn the kiddos energy. Check out groupon. 5 visits for $25. I did have to pay tax $2.50. No big deal. Each visit will give you two hours. Can't beat it. Here is a pic of the party room.

It's a creative concept that it can be very cold, rainy, etc., and it's a viable mini golf option. In fact, the time I went was windy & pretty cold out. This was a work Halloween team building outing in early November 2023, where we dressed in costume and enjoyed mini golf paid for by our company, which was a nice treat (or was it a Trick? to get us to spend our Thursday night with work folks...haha...j/k). I actually did have fun. The staff was cordial and instructed us how we needed to score to take the individual's best score to save time, which I thought was a bit unnecessary. It was a little chaotic and kind of crowded. If you have say 4 people on a team, then people are awkwardly standing on ledges while other players are trying to putt, meanwhile you have other teams on other holes that directly butt up to the hole you're on. And remember, this was a private event. Imagine when it's open to the public, you might be dealing with a crowded scenario. As for the course itself, it's glow in the dark, which is kind of cool, but given the limited space constraints, the course is kind of subpar compared with almost any outdoor course in central Maryland. And the price is about the same as an outdoor course; I'd prefer an outdoor course and waiting until weather warms up to do that. They also have some Arcade games, which we got a $5 credit for each employee. That was fun. I played some air hockey & other random games. Overall, I appreciated what my company was doing, had some fun, but with the pros & cons of Monster Mini Golf, I feel a 3-star review is warranted.
