There is a separate area for the free play and the kids working the counter were mostly on their phones unless someone walked up to them.

A few minutes later, a young woman came over and said they do not do substitutions like that. Shortly after, a blonde woman came over and identified herself as the manager. She said she was told we claimed to have spoken to a manager. Her tone felt very accusatory, repeatedly asking, "Who did you talk to?" We had to physically look around and point out the person who helped us. She then informed us he's "not even a waiter, he's a party host," as if that somehow invalidated the help he gave us. Ironically, he was the only person who was proactive and helpful the entire time. Manager or not, if an issue is brought to your attention and it never gets resolved, that's a serious breakdown in management.
