We come here very regular. At least once a month as the kids like this place alot. And some times once a week. It's kinda a hit and miss if this place is clean or not. Over time the quality of the pizza has gone down hill and only has gotten more expensive. Pizza taste horrible now. Kinda like they're trying to save money by making cardboard tasting pizza. Even the Dominos 5.99 pizzas taste better. The monthly coupons have really declined in savings as well. Used to be 4 drinks 1 large pizza combo and 100 tokens for 19.99. Now it's buy a large 1 topping pizza get 100 tokens. Meh whatever right? Since we come here alot I invested in those forever drinks they sell. Where they get free refills whenever you bring them in. What got me upset with them isn't how 1 in 5 games takes your token. It was they no longer have any game as 1 token. That's a huge disappointment. Only gave this place 2 stars because they keep adding new machines like the walking dead and Disney cross road. But I think we're going to have to take a break from this place. Recently they have upgraded their games and rides which is nice but they also upped their prices and even are charging more for each game or ride. Before they used to take just one token each game/ride now it's 2 or 3 each one. That can add up when you have a few children. The hectiness on the weekend is insane. I've been dragged here for so many of my niece's birthdays I can't count them anymore. I know this place is meant for kids, so I'll let some of the things slide (like the pizza that tastes like it was made with frozen dough) but this place is supposed to be about the games, right? So why don't they ever work? Seriously, about 40% weren't working, and half of them weren't marked, so you couldn't tell, stuck in a token and had to consider it lost. THANK YOU for letting us enjoy our boys birthday and actually be in the moment!! Our hostess, Alyssa, was WONDERFUL. This was our first time at this Chuck E Cheese. We celebrated our God-sons 10th birthday. The food we ordered was hot and fresh. The pizza was decent. The salad bar had a variety of choices. They also had sweet tea which is one of my favorites. What made me give four stars was the variety in adult games Connect Four, Pac Man and Invaders. It brought back the nostalgia of being a child. In addition to the EXCELLENT customer service by Jaya and the security guard. They were patient with Elijah while he was choosing his prize and kind towards us throughout our visit. I came with low expectations but I am pleasantly surprised. On Saturday evening this place was packed with kids. Nevertheless the food came quickly and was overall tasty (not gourmet obviously but at least Pizza Hut quality). The food prices are higher than comparable pizza places, but there are promotions available. The staff were courteous and helpful. Nearly all the games were working, and no one lost any tokens. He yelled at my mother in law for asking for another salad bowl. He told me I wasn't in like and helped another customer even though we all knew I was in line first. The bathrooms are filthy as well. This place is straight trash. There machines don't work. The employees don't care to fix them. And when you complain to management (Dale) he didn't care to help me at all and basically told me to keep trying. On a broken machine!! Do not waste your money here!! Although I really dislike the new card system, Jordan was very patient and helpful with helping me weigh out my options and finding the best deal. She knew what she was talking about and gave me various options to choose from making my decision making a little bit more easy. On Saturday April 1,2023 we held my nephews 2nd birthday party here. Rented the tables, even paid for add ons. There was other parties happening at the same time plus there were other kids in attendance as well. Apparently a child (NOT ours) decided to touch and kick Chucky when he came out to interact with EVERYONE. Only our party was talked to in regards to this matter. We reassured them it wasn't our party but could they please point the child out. They said they didn't know who had did it due to the Chucky mask not allowing them to see clearly but this message would be told to ALL the parents, NOT just us. An hour goes by the POLICE SHOW UP AND KICK US OUT. We asked to speak to the manger because we were honestly confused and most importantly embarrassed because we had not done anything. We asked if they could show us at least the footage of the incident due to them accusing one of our kids of assault. The manager would not come out and talk to us nor would they show any video. The manger then said it "was a mistake".....so accusing a child of assault is a mistake ???? After the "mistake" we still had to shut our party down. Went to Chuck E Cheese Fairfield, CA on Oliver Rd this evening for our nieces birthday party. We do not live in this area, but we do frequent Chuck E Cheese in our home state often. We arrived at 8PM because we wanted to have 2 hours of time at the restaurant and the website says they are open until 10PM on Sunday. At 830 the vacuum cleaners came out and started shoving their vacuums under every table in an effort to clear the place up before it closed. It was so noisy we would not talk. After paying $8 for a salad bar plate, they closed that down at 825PM, a full 35 minutes before the restaurant closed. At 9PM on the dot, I mean 9PM folks, they pulled the plug on all of the games in the building with at least 20 kids still in the middle of their games. They left one ticket muncher open. At 903 we started feeding the ticket muncher to get our receipt so the kids could get their toys that we paid this company to give to them! At 905 we had our things together to leave because they had a guard standing in front of the soda machine which was now covered with blue towels as if it would be a crime to get a refill on the way out the door, so we walked over to the counter to get the toys for tickets and the kids were told "come back at 1030 in the morning when we open, because we are closed". We stated we are from out of the area and would not be here tomorrow, they said, sorry, we are closed. We argued to no avail, so I told them we would write a review, the girl stuck her nose up in the air and shrugged her shoulders. We promptly left, but not before I took a piss all over the bathroom floor, you see, I could not find the light switch because they had all of the power off after the guy had just cleaned in there. read more

I dislike Chuck E Cheese in general, but the Chuck E Cheese in Fairfield brought me to a whole other level of dislike. If I never return, it will be too soon. We went here on Saturday afternoon for a family birthday party. I will say the place is pretty large, but it was PACKED. I'm talking most likely fire hazard packed. There were far too many people (both kids and adults) to even walk without having to squeeze through. I didn't eat the food, because well, it's disgusting. My 4 year old inhaled 3 slices of pizza because well, she's 4 and they like disgusting. Seriously, if I could burn my eye after what I saw I would. Holy MOLY! I'm pretty positive people do not look in the mirror when they get dressed. WHY WHY WHY are people wearing hooker heels and backless shirts and skin tight pleather leggings to Chuck E Cheese? Last I checked it was not a sleezy night club, but maybe i'm missing something. I was seriously shocked at the way the parents were dressed and I'm no prude. I wanted to alert the fashion police a million times. On a positive note though. The children there were much more polite than I expected. My little one dropped a coin and another kid retrieved it and gave it back to her. Kids said excuse me, etc...so even if they are poor dressers, they're doing something right. The biggest reason I'm giving two stars is that like I mentioned above the place was packed and they only had 3 machines that transfered your tickets into your total receipt. It took each person and average of 5-10 minutes to run all their tickets in the machine. The lines were out of control. We waited over 20 minutes to run our tickets. They need to have at least 6 of those machines, if not more. So after waiting our 20 minutes and then taking our 10 minutes to run our tickets, we go over to the prize area and of course, there a ton of people there and only 2 people working it. So we waited AGAIN...but it was so worth it for our 1 piece of candy, bendy straw, and cheap plastic ring....or not. read more

Wow. This place has changed since I was last here a few years ago. More ticket type games and not too many arcade games. Party area has a more open feeling to it, used to be sectioned off more with a frame like wall from the celing and you couldnt go to the game area from the party area. The music is unbelievably loud. Holy crap, we were yelling to talk to each other anytime Chuck E. Cheese was about to come out and do his birthday party bit. I understand the place is loud because of the games and people, but with the main speakers in the party area, they could lower the volume a few decibels. Pizza is great as always, kinda wish they had more deals that catered to buying multiple pizzas for large parties. We ended up going that route instead of doing a party pack. Balloons or more food.... I'll go with more food rather than the party pack of like 13.99 per kid, which by the way, only allowed 2 slices each kid! I am one of those rare Moms that actually likes Chuck E Cheese. I like playing skee ball as much as (if not more) than my daughter does. I always buy $20 worth of tokens (you get like 20 extra) and keep them in the car. It's actually a good value if you skip most of the food and drinks, but if you must eat ALWAYS go to their website for coupons first. I actually used to discreetly bring in Taco Bell when we'd go to the Redwood City location and buy one CEC drink to share (yay free refils!). The salad bar is overpriced but quite good, and you can save money on toppings by using the mushrooms/olives/pineapple/etc. by adding them on yourself. Here are more pros and cons: PROS * Games are only one token (~25 cents) * You can drink there (I recommend bringing your own to save $$$) * Open late (till 9-9:30) * The Fairfield location has a wide variety of games and rides CONS * As my fellow Yelpers have pointed out, the bathrooms are disgusting and the smell sometimes seeps out (at least the FF location's bathrooms are by the entrance, so it can be somewhat avoided by steering toward the back) * Ghetto parents who don't even attempt to control their kids * Overpriced prizes straight out of a crackerjack box * Long lines for prizes Bottom line, its Chuck E Cheese. My Neice has requested her birthday party here ever year for like the last 5 years - hopefully next year (she'll be 9 - we can go somewhere else) I remember this place from when I was a kid, and Chuck E, is actually somehow more scary to me now, then he was then. Chuck E Cheese, Where a kid can be a run over by adults who are in search of their own kids. I think this place has definitely gone down hill. I've been here a few times with my little cousins, they love the games here and by the time they're done they are ran themselves ragged. Ok, You know you don't go here for the pizza, which can be beat by any frozen aisle pizza from your local grocers. The salad bar ain't too bad nor is the buffalo wings, but honestly for the price of pizza you would think they could improve the quality. I did the math today , when I spent like 40 dollars on tokens for my little cousins and their friends, for the tokens these kids covet like they were made of gold. The coins roughly cost like 20 cents each, without a special coupon, so you know this place is a good value for video games for the kids. But experience has taught me to use coupons here from the chuck e cheese website. they typically have some that give you 100 tokens for 10 bucks, which helped the coins go far as each one of the little rug rats came back asking for more coins. I think between me and the other adults with the party of kids, we must of easily spent 200 bucks. Entertaining little kids definitely is not a cheap venture. I haven't been to a Chuck E. Cheese in years until last weekend, and I have to say, it was a blast! My family and I took my oldest for his first time and he was so excited! Now with the All you can play option, you don't have to worry about tokens anymore and you can play as much as you want during the time limit you buy. I survived. I brought my daughter here as a reward for learning over 40 sight words during her summer break. She'd never been before, but I had. It's changed so much since I was a kid too. The tubes and ball pit of my youth are gone and the entire floor is now devoted to arcade games and rides. The only way a trip here is really worth it for me is with a coupon. I used one on this trip that gave us a medium pizza, 2 drinks, 15 tokens plus 10 bonus tokens for $19.99. I also did the salad bar ($5.99) which is totally worth it. I probably made at least five trips to the salad bar and loaded my plate with as much vegetation as possible. It's a pretty basic salad bar but had sunflower seeds, banana peppers, dried cranberries and what looked like chips or fried wonton strips for toppings at the end of the bar. Our pizza came out super fast, before I was even finished with my first salad! After we ate as much as we could I got a to-go box to stash the leftovers and we set out on our adventure around the Chuck. Yeah...this place is a total freakin' madhouse! Poor Chuck E Cheese came out and got swarmed by 10 kids at once. At one point, about 7 of them had him literally pressed up against an arcade game surrounded and demanding hugs and high fives. I couldn't help but laugh because my brother used to work here and had to don the Chuck costume regularly. It's not laundered regularly, so have sympathy for the poor teenager stuck inside. In the 2 1/2 hours we spent here that day, I came up with a list of tips for other parents to survive their own experience at (dun dun dun....) THE CHUCK! - Monitor your child in some way. You don't have to follow them around if they're older but check in on them while they're playing and make sure they aren't getting bullied or doing any bullying. - Be respectful of people waiting in line to play a game and tell your children to do the same. You will encounter teenagers with a mountain of tickets still attached to the game and a line of children waiting to play, but too afraid to speak up. Like me, you will probably rejoice in punking these older kids a bit about being a bit more aware of their surroundings. (Don't worry moms, I was nice about it!) - Bring a small backpack purse or leave your purse locked up in the car if its just you and your children. I saw more than one mom trying to drag her purse around while weaving between hoards of children. Trust me, just don't do it. - MANY of the games and rides here are broken in some way and 99% of them aren't marked. You WILL lose (several) tokens. You won't get tickets when you were supposed to. Accept this. - If you want someone to replace your lost tokens good luck finding the one person who works the floor. He was wearing khaki shorts and a black polo with a small Chuck E Cheese logo on it, but unless you spot the logo he just looks like any other dad. - Avoid bringing children too young to play. I actually saw a baby that was left alone at a table by themselves while the family went out to play for a good stretch. Okay, so they stamp your hand and your child's when you go in with matching stamps...but is it really a good idea to leave an infant unattended in a public place while you attend to your other kids on the other side of the building? No, no actually it's not. Find a babysitter, or wait a few years. To really enjoy this place a kid would need to be at least 4, but 5 seemed to be a good age for my own daughter. Bringing an infant to this place just seems like a real chore. Overall, the trip was a success. My daughter really wanted to do the ticket blaster (clear enclosed stall that blows tickets and "mega-tickets" around for you to grab in a certain amount of time). It was $5 though and I was done spending money at that point. We'll be back, but only with a coupon! read more

I was in the area for Labor Day weekend and I took my church's kids here on Sunday evening and I was really disappointed. The kids had fun (of course) but the place is so small and crowded. Parents didn't control their kids and games weren't scattered well enough so if someone were to play one game, it blocks other kids from playing the other game adjacent to it. Workers were not friendly at all. The lady who helped my kids exchange their tickets for prizes needed some patience. She kept wanting to get us out of the way when there wasn't anyone else waiting to redeem their tickets..Not to mention, everyone behind the counter seemed really annoyed and hated their jobs. I'm not surprised that Chuck E Cheese is this bad because out of 3 that I've been to, they all weren't that great. Few of the games are intended for kids her age, but she knew it was a special place for kids and she loved it. Only food I had was buffalo wings. They were good. Having not set foot in a CEC since my son was his daughter's age, things have changed. This is the type of place where you know what you're going to get. After obtaining our hand stamps, we attempted to order food. The fist employee may have been new and therefore a little overwhelmed but she was completely unenthusiastic and seemed put upon that we wanted to spend money here. While we we ordering, someone dropped a salad on the tile. Three different employees saw or were made aware of the spill but walked by it without putting out a sign or indicating it would be cleaned up. Within a couple minutes the spill was cleaned but it was lunch time with lots of people walking over the spill. The second employee we encountered was equally unenthusiastic but accurately recorded our order. The pizza was delivered within about 15 minutes (good) and the quality was on par with this establishment - not great but not bad. The salad bar was well-stocked and the staff kept the area clean throughout the lunch hour. The other employees were polite but uninterested in our enjoyment or willingness to spend more money here. Good rain day for kid outing. They recently Dec 2010 rennovated it. It's a huge open layout. Half is for parties. The other half open seating. They check you in at the door for safety. Love this as if your child gets lots they can't get out. As for the open seating they take you to a table which you have for 2 hours. You dont have to stress to look around for a table. Food prices are high. GO ONLINE TO GET A COUPON. $7.00 for a small personal pizza, $7.00 for salad bar and $2.00 for kid unlimited drinks. They have coupons for $20-22 for 1 large pizza and a few drinks and atleast 30 tokens. The games are age appropriate. This is perfect for 5 years as they can manage the games on their own. For toddlers there is a smaller area to enjoy. Surprisenly the food even though expensive is not that bad so if you get the coupon deal it's worth it for a rainy day with the kids. Week days are not so busy. After 2:00 pm on weekends gets really busy...and loud.
