Came here for a Team Work event and we had a great time. We needed more glass to smash as the electronics didn't provide the level of satisfaction you receive when breaking glass. They did have some plates in the corner you could break but again, breaking glass had THE BEST level of satisfaction. I dont know how much it is per person as the company paid for this, but I noted that they had a few specials posted. I beleive pricing can be found on the website. Its much, much smaller than I thought it would be. I highly suggest wearing long sleeve shirts and jeans. The ricochet of breaking items can do you some damage. I was cut twice on my arm but they have alcohol and bandage. They provide helmets, gloves and safety googles. Wear your hair down so the helmet will fit. You will sign a waiver relasing liability so be safe! read more

We had such a great experience at Bay Area Smash Room in Fairfield. Miguel was incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. The place happened to be closed when we first got there, but he was kind enough to come back and open it for us, which we truly appreciated. He explained everything carefully, made sure we felt comfortable, and kept the whole vibe positive. Our 30-minute session was so much fun. Definitely false advertisement! Didn't even receive have the stuff to smash that were listed. We got two key boards, 1 router, 1 tire, one super small thin monitor 1 small table top fan, and a plastic barrel which was already all messed up. The gentleman showed up a few minutes before our booking time then needed time to supposedly set up. We lasted in the room less than 20min. I would give this zero stars if possible. The reason I'm giving it a 2 star is for the paint room. We were given a few small dollar tree paint which lasted about a total of 15min for my group of 3. I guess you're supposed to bring your on hand wipes and towels in order to clean ourselves up. After we were done with the paint room the gentleman said you are good to go. Even though we had paint on hands and face. Never did he say here's a bathroom or anything. If looking for a rage room I highly recommend the one in Sacramento! I love this place! I've been wanting to try a smash room and didn't want to go all the way to the city. I went with a date and we had a great time. We got 30 minutes to smash everything and had crowbars, a hammer and a sledgehammer. They give you protective wear and you can play your own music in the room. The guy who helped us was really nice and took a before and after picture of us. There was also a phone stand in the room if you wanted to record yourself. We ran out of things to smash so we ended a little early. Would have been nice to have a little more to break. Also the rooms were really small which made me nervous about breaking things as they would bounce off the wall and I didn't want it to hit me. Total of 4 correspondences from this business regarding the cancellation/refund and they have STILL. NOT. REFUNDED. ME. They claimed to have processed the refund but they did not. Everything went well but I do need to WARN everybody that when you go, either wear some old shoes that you don't want anymore or put covers on your shoes because when I got home I did not realize that I had tons and tons of printer toner on the bottom of my shoes and I got it everywhere in my house. We did the smash room and the paint room this past weekend to celebrate a birthday. There were 7 of us total in a group and we made the reservation weeks in advance. Our appointment had to be moved almost 2 hours later, because they "ran out of paint" an hour before our appointment. We get there and they don't have the room set up, nor enough tools in the smash room. We finally get set up and start smashing, they didn't provide protective gear for your body. Only for your eyes and a hard hat. They provided toxic e-waste for us to smash. Overall 0/10 experience for the smash room. They also had another smash room going on with the door open once we finished, we were not in protective gear, the door was open with glass shards flying every which way. Then we move to the paint room. We were provided with smocks and 1 paint pusher in a small room upstairs. We finally got our paint and our supplies to realize it was just colored water that was soaking through our smock and onto our clothes. The colors were different shades of brown, apparently neon costs $10 more. You learn that as you are doing the experience.... We ended cold, wet, and stained with different shades of crap colored water. 0/10. They assured us the paint was washable... please see attached pants fresh out of the washing machine- clearly still stained with purple/brown paint. I do not recommend this place. read more

Negative stars if I could. Absolutely false advertisement and this place should be shut down. I went on their website and the pictures show guests in full body coveralls for protection, as well as masks under the protective goggles. They also say you will get plates to smash. They also show large rooms in the pictures. I booked this because it looked like they took all precautions necessary and it sounded fun. Where do I begin to explain how awful this whole set up is? 1) the rooms are NOT as advertised. They are so effin small, there is no way you will not get hit by objects ricocheting off the wall and the floor (which seems to have a bit of a bounce) The place is a rat hole. Straight up. I don't know where they got the pictures for their website but that is NOT the location you think you are going to. This place is literally a hazardous dump. 2) they DO NOT provide full body coveralls so don't wear good clothes. Also, wear thick material clothing cause those flying shards of wood and glass will get you. 3) they DO NOT provide face masks as shown in pictures ONLY goggles. My man and I are coughing up weird black stuff and there is an excess of black boogers in our nose. $%&@!!!!!!!! 4) we did NOT get plates to smash. They gave us some very small dishes that looked like they are for individual Crème Brulée desserts. Those were NOT plates. You couldn't even eat a sandwich off those. 5) they allow people to sign the walls and doors etc. I was DISGUSTED to see that there were very racist, awful things written in reference to Black folks. I think it's DISGUSTING that they would allow that and even if they didn't see who wrote it, that they haven't painted over it. It is written in big letters going to the stairs. You can't miss it. There is no way that the employees haven't seen it. This is something that the employees should say when telling people they can write on the walls. NO RACIST THINGS ALLOWED. All in all, this experience was one of the biggest wastes of my time and hopefully whatever this black stuff is that I breathed in is not going to do some serious damage to my precious body. The employee who helped us was friendly enough. But this business should be inspected and the owners should by law have to provide masks, full body coveralls and warn people that they WILL be breathing hazardous dusts. Sooo much fun! Great way to get some physical aggression out, was able to pair our music to the Bluetooth and get some family time in. I forgot to get his name, but the gentlemen who helped us was super chill and accommodating! The only thing I would advise is to bring a mask! The dust that came from everything we smashed got to be a lot to breathe in after awhile and we ended up cutting our time a little short. But overall a fantastic experience!! This was my first time at a smash room and it was an ok experience. We did a package that was meant for up to 6 people, we only had 5. To start this place was a bit hard to find. Me and my friend got there 10 minutes or so before our appointment and could not find the place. We were in the parking lot looking for a sign everywhere and didn't see a thing. We just waited in the car for the rest of our group to show up seeing as one of them has been there before so they could show us where it was. About a minute of so before our appointment we finally see a worker go into the building and turn on the light to the sign, soo that was the reason we couldn't find it! That could be our bad, but I will say I would have thought someone would have been there earlier to set up our room and to make sure the light was on so it would have been easier to find. Another thing with the employee showing up right as our appointment was about to start was that we had to wait an extra 10 or 15 minutes or so for "set up" of our smash room and the disinfecting of the helmet and goggles they give you. It wasn't a big deal but being ready for us would have been nice, especially since we seemed to be the only appointment they had that day. The big issue I have was the package we paid for, the smashaholics package. This was to include 40 plates, four premium electronics, four smaller electronics, and furniture but this is not what we got. The employee did indicate he didn't have plates, but instead of subbing something equivalent is was just a plastic bin with glass items that were way less than 40 pieces. Additionally, the big electronic items we were supposed to smash were already in the room and smashed by others. We were basically working with a lot of stuff that was smashed already and were left in two big piles in either corner of the room to dig through to find something that wasn't smashed already. The room itself hardly had anything to "smash" and there was a a lot of previously smashed crap in the room already. It felt hazardous almost because there was so much debris and junk in there. I wouldn't recommend this spot especially comparing it to smash rooms where they actually have items to actually smash and the room looks like it was professionally set up for customers. Although we enjoyed our time inside the smash room, my boyfriend and I were not very happy about the entire experience. After reading great reviews and looking at the website, we traveled an hour and a half only to arrive to lights off and a locked door. We called the number listed and appreciated that the owner came to let us in. However, we felt like the entire experience was not worth what we had paid. $120 to be let in, smash stuff for exactly 30 minutes and rushed out the door. We figured due to the inconvenience of having us wait, we would have at least been offered an extra 10 minutes in the room or maybe a few extra items to smash. At exactly the 1 minute mark we got the warning our time was almost up. When we were done we walked out and the owner left right behind us to shut the place down. We felt like a burden more than welcomed customers. Additionally, the booking mentioned we would receive a lot more items than we did. We got plates and bowls and 3 decent sized appliances. However, the website said we would get 3 smaller appliances, drywall, and small furniture. Like I said, we felt like a burden and due to that, we weren't given the full experience. I sent an email requesting a full or partial refund for our experience and got a reliance saying "I will look into this" and I never heard from anyone again. read more

But I knew Wifey had a rough 2020 like so many of us so after searching here on Yelp I finally found exactly what I was looking for! The owner (sorry Bro, I forgot your name) will greet you upon arrival and he's really cool and friendly! You get safety equipment to wear, one out of several rooms to choose from if available, a JBL Speaker to play your own playlist while smashing (Tip: have a playlist already chosen before you arrive, one that you KNOW will help keep the adrenaline flowing!), and plenty of dishes, electronic equipment,etc. to take your frustration out on! Weapons of choice are:Sledgehammers, Crow bars, Framing Hammers,I think a pipe too! Booked a date night package with smash room and splatter paint. after the guy gave us the rundown of the smash room. i reminded him of the splatter room and he said we are low on paint so we could not do it. I booked the appointment 2 weeks prior and did not get any calls, txt or emails saying the paint part would not be done. the manager said they were out of the paint suits, but the other guy said no paint. the manager said he would remember me and just to come back and was hesitant to writing something down to bring in to show I have already paid, we had fun in the smash room although its nothing like the description. we had only 5 items places in the room and a back wall full of other stuff people smashed. the websites list things like furniture, plates and more electronics but we did not get those things. not sure i want to go back even for the splatter room we already paid for. read more

This place sucks. This review is about a lack of customer service. I rec'd a gift card in 2022 for this place and I never find myself in Fairfield. Finally, I was going to be driving through and thought we would finally use the gift card. Over 3 days, I called numerous times, tried the website chat and even texted the place, they responded once via text with "how can I help" but nothing else. I don't even want to go to this place, but I have over $100 to spend there, we were looking at doing the $140 session. You have to pay in full to book, but it would not take the gift card on the website, and I did not want to be stuck with this gift card, so I needed to speak with someone on how to redeem it or book with credit card online and redeem gift card in person. Once the person I was texting learned it was a gift card, they ignored me probably bc there was not much more money to earn in the process. Reading reviews though it seemed that we dodged a bullet. Based on the lack of customer service, I very much believe the negative reviews. I will toss the $100 gift card, but I will spread the word about their crappy customer service. Do not go to this business, they suck, they suck even before you step foot into the place. Edit- In response to management response- I did contact you. I called from my work number and cell 5 times over a period of 3 days and even my husband's cell on the last day. At one point someone texted me back with "how can I help?" It was so fun smashing everything and we had a good time but I definitely would not come to this location again. I would just make the drive and go to the SF location. Firstly, I got a call earlier in the day about my reservation to confirm the location and everything. But the man on the phone went on the explain that he had 2 reservations that day, 1 at 6:00pm and my reservation at 7:30pm. He insisted that I come earlier around 6pm so I could be with the other group because HE was off around 7:45-7:50 and didn't wanna stay and wait for our reservation at 7:30pm?? I found this VERY ODD because this is your job? I was confused on why he was trying to ask ME to come in earlier and negotiate for HIS convenience so he could get off EARLY? I tried to be nice so I came at 7:00pm, when I arrived I felt rushed the entire time. He kept saying "so I can get this started as soon as possible". Later on he emphasized that he had to drive to Sacramento after our reservation and that we couldn't take any more time than 30 minutes because he had to be in sac "as soon as possible". It was very unprofessional and NOT worth the money at all. The room was SO TINY me and my 2 friends barely fit, we had to keep switching corners to make sure we didn't hit each other with the bats etc. not to mention the room was taken up by TRASH and broken things already. All the trash and left over items took up half the rooms size, I don't even think they clean up after every reservation. They just leave all the mess for the next group? For $140 I felt rushed, not important and a bother to a literal employee? My group and I felt like we were a burden the whole time and he did not care about our experience at all! The customer service beforehand was excellent, as well as while we were there- however, employee working didn't seem to expect us even coming. Despite saying that she said our room was ready. We did the date night package for $120 which was supposed to have a certain number of items. We were given 20 plates and brought to a room with tons of trash and rubbish from the previous visitors. There was a giant printer for us to smash, but all the smaller items were just...sitting in a pile on the ground? Wasn't the best and certainly wasn't what was advertised. Since we ran out of items very fast - we ended up spending an extra $40 on plates. ALSO - you're only given goggles, a hat and gloves. WEAR LONG SLEEVES AND PANTS!
