I was so nervous when my daughter said she was having my grandsons a party at CEC. It had been awhile but I knew they had good pizza and salad bar. I was pleasantly surprised to find it bright and spacious with a game card that you put on your wrist. Chuck came out several times and they made a big to do for the birthday folks. Our party was from 3-5 and they quickly got us checked in and seated. All of the announcements came over the speakers and they had many screens. The bounce house was nice as was the merry go round. Food: the pizza was really good and the dipping dots were a nice surprise. We ordered wings and fries. The wings were horrible, undercooked and fatty. Everything else was good. School was out for Election Day. And I needed something to do with my niece and nephew. This was a nice afternoon play day. I came with a daycare group with 58 kids. We spent $789 on food, drinks, and tickets for them. Whenever Rochelle, the employee came and brought our pizza, she said she dropped 4 cards leaving us with 54. She said she would bring us the rest but never did. When it was time to let the kids play, we noticed we were short still so my coworker grabbed two of the four cards we were missing. Once all of the kids were off to play, we were still one card short so I went up there and asked for one extra card, bringing our total to 57 cards, not 58 like we payed for. She told me we had gotten all of the cards we had payed for and that we were out of luck. I am very non confrontational so I left and let my boss know, who is a very lovely and kind elderly woman. When my boss went to talk to the employee she was very calm and ensured her demeanor was peaceful, however Rochelle was extremely rude and had begun to raise her voice when my boss politely showed her receipt and that we hadn't gotten the correct number of cards. She lied and told us that she had given ME all of the cards, referring to me as "that girl" which is extremely rude to me. Whenever I told her I did not, she got extremely defensive and threatened to kick us off the premises when we were nothing but calm. Management did nothing to help and we had to have one of the older kids (10) give away her card to the child who was not able to receive one (6) so she could play. Horrible management and disrespectful staff, we will not be returning and we will be alerting daycares in the area of this as well. Edit: They were supposed to get cute little prize bags after the visit but instead we had to fight to get them and they came in ZIPLOC BAGS and they were absolutely pitiful! Who doesn't have great fond memories of this place?? I know over the years of have changed but, the kid in me still remembers. It really is a fun place to bring children. I'm not a huge fan of their pizza but the kids don't mind and that's all that matters. They really love all the game that are their in their size. The love the idea of cashing in their own tickets. Ticket redemption is quite easy. They switched to cards instead of coins. I do like is that they stamp the adult's arm and the child's arm with the same number stamp so they can make sure the same adult is leaving with the same child. I thought that was a pretty cool idea. They had the robotic mouse. I remember that their used to be music with different characters playing along. I guess that really speaks to my age lol. We will be back for more fun. read more

We came here for some fun including my childs servis animal and soon as we walk in the girl at the register was nice but then she went to say that her dog wasn't welcomed in the store I went to tell her that she's a service dog and they should be able to come here, my dog was in a large clear backpack with her head hanging out the small hole on the side that is made for her head not whole body. She went to say "o okay" in not a nice way while my kids played I'm guess their manger came in I believe her name is Asia I saw her talking to my daughter. What she told me they lady told her "don't let that dog get out that booksack because that's not a service animal". I've been to this Chuck E Cheese a few times for birthday parties and yes, reluctantly for my kids' enjoyment. The games here are okay, and are usually all functional. Ticket redemption is quite easy and we usually convince our kids to get the cotton candy instead of bringing more junk home. Staff are the usual, "I'm so tired of this place, and is it time to close?", attitude. They didn't explicitly say that, but I can see it from their facial expression. We went here for my granddaughters 2nd Birthday. It was not crowded at all. I'm not sure what time they opened, but we must have arrived shortly after. My baby loved all the sights and sounds of the games and riding machines. Everything seemed to work and she had a blast. I was a little disappointed that they did have anything like the old restaurant used to in regards to the entertainment. They had the robotic mouse, but all it did was occasionally turn. Today my two year old made 2 years old. We decided to bring him to play and eat here. We had a good time. I just wish they had more for smaller children. The food was okay. Every time we go to this place I feel like we are just giving them money. I would say at least a fourth of the games or rides always seem to be broken and the other ones just never do anything when we put the token in. The pizza was ok. Very poorly managed. This location will be out of business- it's not only grossly understaffed, it could be closed by the health department. Have never seen even the most unsophisticated restaurant/amusement establishment so trashy and filthy like this one belonging to a national chain. - tables allowed to remain piled high with trash and food, some still unbussed during the hour plus we were there. Not to be believed- I should have taken pictures. - there was so much trash on the floor that it was worse than the LSU campus right after a huge tailgating event. Kids were tripping over plastic bags, paper from photo booth, used napkins, etc. - the ladies was horrendous. Trash was piled all around the toilets. I saw an unwrapped used sanitary napkin on top of a pile by the toilet. Obviously no inspections done that day. - the points redemption center glass console was had layers of filth. I made the mistake of going here for lunch on Thursday. They were just opening up, and I ordered the lunch buffet.The pizza was fresh because they didn't start cooking it until I ordered the buffet. Understandable and acceptable. They only have pepsi products. The diet mountain dew was the only good thing in the place. The pizza started coming out so I started with 3 pieces.When I got back to my table and picked up the first piece, the grease rane off the pizza like a fountain. There were numerous broke games and rides. The tunnel play center was absolutely filthy. It appeared someone had got sick in there and it was not cleaned up.
