This place is an amazing little gem to come and get some froyo!…read more The shop is relatively small, so covid-19 precautions are heavily implemented here. 3-4 people (typically a small group or family) are allowed in at once and if there is a line, they must wait outside for their turn in. Once you are inside, you are required to put on hand sanitizer before touching anything and that station is located right next to the cups, so it's impossible to miss it. There are a few different sized cups, 12oz/16oz/24oz, but I typically go for the smallest one since i feel it's the perfect size to fill me up. There is a nice variety of flavors. These flavors range from French Vanilla, Classic Chocolate, Sweet Coconut, Cake Batter, Original Tart, Dulce de Leche, Strawberry, Mango, Pistachio Gelato & Pomegranate Raspberry. However, I really wanted to try the dulce de leche to see how it tasted so that's the one I went with! Next up is the toppings station! There's so many different options to choose from where you can mix and match to really give your froyo some added personalization and extra flavor. Since i've got a sweet tooth, I added mini M&M's, brownie chunks, granola and 2 pirouette cookies to mine. However, as I mentioned there's a ton of different options that could satisfy anyone. Just keep in mind, when you pay, the cost depends on the weight of the cup and it's contents. Mine was around $7. The froyo was delicious! I had no complaints whatsoever. The shop was clean, the staff was friendly and overall, i'd definitely come back here again!

Rows and rows of vibrant, beautifully swirled gelato in every flavor imaginable Ordered the dubai chocolate flavor and also the tiramisu and cookies and cream. All of them were bomb. The gelato is incredibly smooth, creamy, and packed with real flavor. None of that icy or artificial taste you sometimes get with the supermarket brands. Staff lets you have free samples to taste so you can know which one to order. I love that you can watch them scoop it with care. It really feels like a little work of art in a cup or cone. They also have a great selection of gelato bars and popsicles if you're in the mood for something handheld. The staff is always friendly and patient, especially when you're standing there overwhelmed by all the delicious options. There is also a see through glass where you can see how the gelato is prepared in the back. Whether you're shopping, hitting the water park, or just need a sweet pick-me-up, Lucciano's delivers every time. Fresh, high-quality ingredients and generous portions. If you're in the mall and have a sweet tooth, do yourself a favor and stop here. You won't be disappointed!

The store was basically empty on the Sunday before the major black that happened on Monday. The two men near the register were chit chatting with each other and they hesitated to even come to assist us. As we browsed the Gelato options from left to right for a brief moment we then noticed a family of about five people came in. We immediately noticed the difference in response time to this family's arrival. One of the employees immediately went over towards our left as they entered and said, "Guys, when you are ready to order come over by the cash register." This is why it is important for business owners to train the people they hire about appropriate customer service because although the employees are not owners, they are representatives of the business. So business owners have to be careful about who they hire. Hmmmmm, how convenient for these new guests and inconvenient for us that we were not acknowledged until the employees felt compelled to share this ordering practice with a new group of patrons after we were already waiting. That behavior was enough for us to know it was time to walk out. I refuse to spend my money where I can see overt disrespect.

Guy at the counter let me sample 4 different flavors (they're very patient and will let you sample as much as you want) and was very meticulous about balancing all the flavors I ordered, making sure the pile wouldn't collapse or fall off the sides. Great attention to service! I figure since you're already paying $9ish for an all with 2 flavors that I might as well upgrade to a medium for 3, around $10. Pistachio - Classic flavor done well. It's subtle but nutty and a natural color. Definitely high quality and made in house. Dark Chocolate Raspberry - Very tangy! Has a nice sour kick, it's strong on the fruit flavor with a raspberry base and the chocolate aspect being dark choco shavings. Marscapone Ricotta with Strawberries - This might be my favorite out of the 3. Maybe it's because I really like cheese (especially ricotta)! Creamy, homey, and flavorful in its simplicity while also being different from a usual vanilla. This combo actually worked really well as a fruit, nuts and cream sort of mix. I'd totally order all 3 together next time, but they have so many flavors it would be a shame not to try the others. Worth the hype!

When I asked if they had any gluten-free flavors, the staff was knowledgeable and readily pointed them out. I decided to order a scoop of the banana split flavor in a cup and asked if they could use a clean scooper to avoid cross-contamination and take from a new section. The staff thoroughly washed the scooper before using. Their accommodation was exceptional, making me feel completely safe and valued as a customer. To top it all off, the portion sizes are massive, but quality certainly matched the quantity because my gelato was super tasty from the first bite to the last.

I will say as I was looking at their dessert displayed, I noticed a blueberry cheesecake that had gone bad and had mold. For the remainder of the time I was there, I didn't notice her take it away especially because more people came in and she got busy. Hopefully it was removed. Not sure if I'd try this place again. They can definitely improve by being mindful and checking their inventory.

I usually visit the…read moreTimes Square location because it's conveniently close to where I stay during the week, and over time it has become one of my favorite places to pick up a sweet treat. Times Square can be incredibly busy, so getting there often means navigating heavy crowds, but I still find myself making the trip. During my most recent visit in September, I was especially glad I did because they had a new pistachio cream and vanilla flavor that immediately caught my attention. This isn't a traditional pistachio gelato. Instead, it has a smooth vanilla base swirled with a rich, Nutella-like pistachio cream, which gives it a different flavor and texture from the usual pistachio options. The vanilla keeps it creamy and familiar, while the pistachio cream adds a nutty, indulgent richness that makes each bite more interesting. I really enjoyed the combination and would happily order it again. If you're near Times Square and looking for a satisfying dessert, Amorino is well worth a stop, even when the area is packed.

The shop itself has a great ordering system where you can use a kiosk, and it was a pleasant surprise to see that all of their gelato flavors are gluten-free, with an actual option to order a gluten-free cone. However, the allergy protocol leaves a lot to be desired. When you order, the kiosk instructs you to let the staff know if you have an allergy when you hand them your ticket. When I told the staff member, she was honest and immediately warned me that there is cross-contamination because the scoops touch regular cones, and they unfortunately do not have a separate stash they can scoop from the back. While I am very grateful for her honesty and transparency, which kept me safe, this is a major flaw in their allergen handling. Promoting gluten-free flavors and cones while using scoops that touch regular gluten cones creates a significant risk. I am glad I did not get sick, but they definitely need to step up their gluten-safety protocols if they want to safely serve the celiac and gluten-sensitive community.
