Finally, this past weekend ( Saturday) had the opportunity to stop and get something. Don't have the opportunity to get out that way too often. My mom and I always wanted to stop, and I figured what better time and way to celebrate in memory of her love for cupcakes. The customer service, and owner made you feel like you were a long time patron; friendly, welcoming, upbeat and positive. Everything was reasonable priced...and now on to their fabulous cupcakes: Cotton Candy, Parkerhouse, plain chocolate, and vanilla, Orange Chocolate, Tutti Fruity to name a few. My selection in honor of my moms favorite ice-cream: Parkhouse...and in my opinion tasted just like it except in the cupcake form. We used Chubby Chix Cakery for our wedding and we are so happy we did. They were friendly and easy to work with. Due to covid we had to adjust our cupcake count from what we originally ordered and they did that without any issues. The list of flavors that they have is a mile long and we had a hard time deciding what we wanted to choose because they all sounded so delicious! We ordered carrot cake, loganberry, tooti fruiti, and s'mores. All the flavors were a hit at our wedding, our guests raves about them! We also ordered a small white cake with white frosting for us to freeze and eat on our one year. We gave them our cake topper and some flowers for decorating the cake and they made it look absolutely perfect. All of it was absolutely perfect! read more

What to get: Chocolate Chocolate Cupcake. What to get: Choc late... and choc early. Choc anytime really. I'm so glad I listened to Maria and Julie C with regards to this place. Their reviews insisted it was one of the best cupcakes around. There are a lot of claims like that about a lot of cupcake places, but I took the recs on faith and came here and gave them a try. It's way, way out of the way, since I live about 40 minutes from here. But it's honestly worth that drive. They sell utterly incredible cupcakes, and what's almost more incredible is that it is only $2 for aforementioned spectacular cupcakes. I recommend everything that I tried... the peanut butter, a berry one, and especially the chocolate chocolate, yum, heavenly (swoon). They have really nice service too, even to the extent that I accidentally spent a $5 bill here that was very special to someone very special (I borrowed it from her car), and when we went back hours later to switch a different 5 for the special 5, they had no problem doing it and didn't even think it was weird at all. These are good cupcakes. And I love cupcakes. I owe this discovery to Julie C. I came on a Thursday midday. Easy parking in front. A few steps to go up, so perhaps not disabled easy. Walking in on the right is a very cute seating area where you can have a coffee with your cupcake. Or cookie. Or small cake. On the left are the display cases. Some small cakes were there for $7 each. Looked terrific. Very nicely decorated. Then the right had the cupcakes and cookies. There were perhaps 8 flavors of cupcakes to choose from. Some chocolate and some vanilla of course. Some more complex than others, salted caramel pretzel or vanilla on vanilla. You get the idea, you can probably find something you like here. So can your friends. The cupcakes are a perfect size I think. Not huge like some others around town. Not too small. Cupcakes are $2 each or 6 for $10. They are well packaged. They have a "frequent flyer" program too. I wish this new bakery well. It's not near me, which frankly is good or I'd be here all the time. Just left with a friend of mine. NOT HAPPY!! Never acknowledged when I arrived. I'm waiting for her to offer services/take my order. I was on my phone with the person I would be placing the order for. I left without service since it took am extended period of time and they were not friendly or ready to provide service. as I was telling the person on the phone what was going on, the staff came from behind the counter (that's aggressive) and said to me "I didn't say anything to you because you were on your phone". I said thanks as I continued to my car. The staff process to call me rude and followed me out the door!!! Well I guess they have so much business they didn't need my money or maybe not yours‍ Please see response below by owner/associate. The explanation that was provided by the owner/associate is not an accurate accounting of the situation and furthermore, there are multiple other people who have expressed extreme dissatisfaction of the custome service that is provided at this establishment. I'm by no means here to argue with anyone but to make other people aware of the lack of customer service that was provided. Keep in mind on another note, I would never just jump to cursing at someone first or blatantly ignore the person speaking to me. Yummy cupcake places can sometimes be hard to find but luckily this little gem isn't far from my house! The cupcakes ARE delicious, I've never had a flavor there that I didn't like. They also have little cheesecakes sometimes and cookies. The interior is fun and colorful and I dig there's a little seating area if you'd like to stay and enjoy your treat. The main reason I rated this place a four star is because I've never had really friendly service. The staff that have been there when I visit are attentive but they barely make eye contact with you or thank you for stopping in. There's no warmth from them so for that part of the experience is average. They are in fact quite pricey as well, coming in strong with almost a $25 charge for a dozen cupcakes. Love, love, love! This is the first bakery I go to when I need cupcakes for something. My fiancé and I stopped by when he was craving a cinnamon bun one day. There are no words that can express how appreciative and thankful I am for Chubby Chix!! I had placed an order with someone else for cookies and they cancelled on me with less than 36 hour notice. So I did what any other Yelper would do and I got on yelp to search for a bakery that made custom cookies. I came across Chubby Chix and immediately called and they were so nice and sweet to me. I didn't feel like they were annoyed at all by my request, she instantly asked me to email her what my vision was and said she could have it done by noon of the day that I needed them. She literally had less than 24 hours to make them because I called her at 330p on Wednesday and I needed them by Friday and I'm pretty sure that's close to closing time and I needed 4 dozens of cookies. When I went on Friday at noon I had to wait no less than 15 mins but who am I to complain when they helped me at crunch time.. I arrived at the bakery at 12:10. The sign on the door stated they opened at noon. The sign still said closed. There was a car next to me in the parking lot. I waited and a couple came out a few minutes later holding cupcakes. They said they are open, just didn't turn the sign on. I walked in the door and was greeted with a young lady who loudly said you have to wait outside, we are behind and those people shouldn't have come in...wait outside. I think she saw how startled I was with her greeting and I told her it was fine, I would leave. She then said you can go sit over there and she pointed to the side. I told her no, I was leaving. And I did and I will never be back. There are plenty of other businesses who welcome customers and provide consistent customer service. Unforeseen things can happen and you can run late but lock the door then instead of berating customers when they walk in because you are still setting up your product. I was impressed by this places selection of cupcakes including king cake, bananas foster, vanilla, etc. the woman who helped me was very friendly and patient with me while I was having trouble deciding on which cupcakes I wanted. Absolutely terrible experience with this business the night before our wedding. When we originally ordered the cupcakes we told them we would need to pick them up at 8am at the latest because we live over an hour away. They said that was fine. The night before our wedding they tell us we cant get them till 12 and when I told them what one of their employees they kept telling me I was a liar. They called back and tried to cancel our order. And when someone went to pick up our order they tried to not give us our full order, including our cake we were cutting for the wedding. I've ordered a couple cakes from Chubby Chix. The cakes taste delicious. I have referred them to many people. I always forewarn my friends that the customer service needs work. They have been ok with me. Until today. I did show up at 4:15 for a 4:00 pick up. My bad. I ordered a cake for my daughter's 13th birthday. It was a cake from FB from the bakery. My daughter loved it. Couldn't wait to get it. The young girl and the woman were arguing about not having the order. When I asked if the cake wasn't available, the answer I got was "Im just going through receipts. I go on vacation and I don't know where someone moved it to." I said "awe, my daughter is going to be disappointed, she was really looking forward to this cake, it's her 13th birthday." A snide comment came back. Can't remember exactly what, but something like "we're trying to fix it". In a very nasty tone. They remade a cake for me. the Colors are the same, the flavor is what I wanted. Doesn't look like the cake I wanted. I had to buy the gum balls, the macaroons, the flower and the happy birthday sign for the cake. She only took $5 off because it was "only technically 15 minutes late." Oh! And they found my receipt after I left. She said she called me at 4:30 and I showed up at 4:15, so, that's just 15 minutes late. It's a shame because the baked goods are delicious, but the customer service needs A LOT OF WORK. read more

I am really disappointed with my experience. I called and ordered a Buffalo bills cake. The girl told me that she can put a Bills emblem and sprinkles on he cake which I said would be fine and the price would be $55. The cake that I actually got was a white cake with red, white, and blue sprinkles. There was no Buffalo bills emblem and no other way to know that it was a bills cake. When I called I was told that $55 is the minimum price and an emblem would be additional. How would I know that if it was not explained? I was also told that for custom cakes I should have come in and shown pictures of what I wanted. Am I to believe that in Buffalo NY a bakery one block from the stadium doesn't know what a Buffalo bills emblem looks like? All together poor communication. The only solution I was offered was I could receive a full refund if I returned the cake. I ordered the cake for my nephews birthday. So I should return the cake and then have no cake at all? I've come in multiple times with ideas from Pinterest and their work is even better than the reference photo I show! The customer service is amazing here! I've stopped in on a whim to order a cake, I had no idea what I wanted. It was for my daughters 4th Birthday. Emily helped me find a cake when I had no idea where to even look. I gave her a color scheme and she found multiple designs for me. I didn't know which one to chose, there were too many good options! She makes sure you're getting exactly what you want and for a reasonable price. She even found ways to save one of my best friend's money on her wedding cake! She's realistic and she knows all the trends. I trust her with helping me design a cake anytime.
