Looking for someplace close to Paddington station, I found this place on Expedia. I used Expedia because I received a $50 credit after a ticketmaster purchase, so I decided to use. If you are staying for just a night or two, this is not too bad I suppose. It was one of the few hotels I could find with 3 separate twin beds. I realize this is uncommon, but we were a group of friends traveling together.
The carpet and covers on the beds have seen better days. It's interesting because you have an outer door, a short hallway, and then an inner door. I am unsure as to the reason for this. The room was very basic with just beds, a table, a desk, and an armoire. There was no air conditioning - just a small window. I wish I had noticed this when looking at the description!
The bathroom was TINY. I am short; I do not know how the guys bigger than me fit in the shower. I could barely fit. There is no room to lay down your toiletries for one person, much less 3 people. The cups were pretty flimsy, so I had to lean my toothbrush against the wall, ugh.
Breakfast was meager. There was cereal, bread, meat, and cheese. Nothing was hot. If you sleep through breakfast, you are not missing anything.
We were not in our room a lot - just to sleep - so it worked for us. The best thing about the hotel was the location, as you're only a few blocks from the station. But other than that, I will skip this hotel next time!
