    Amazing Deep Bathtub.

Hotel was very nice and served a great buffet breakfast. The Best part was the huge bathtub. Most hotels no longer have tubs it was nice to relax after walking and site seeing all day.

(This review is about my afternoon tea experience only). I know everyone thinks the Brits have afternoon tea everyday, it's like thinking of it as a mandatory meal. Although this isn't 100% accurate you will find yummy, delicious places to experience your own "royal afternoon tea in London". After living there for a while I wanted to have mine, so I took advantage of my friend's visit and took her to a proper tea experience. The legend says the afternoon tea tradition started in the mid-1800s, when dining late became quite fashionable. So, since one used to spend a lot of time without eating anything, the Duchess of Bedford thought it would be a good idea to invite her lady friends over for a tea gathering. The tradition has changed with time, and depending on where you go your experience can have different menus. Usually you will have sandwiches, cakes, scones, jelly and butter. It's not supposed to be a filling meal, but depending on how hungry you are and how many are sharing this experience you will be satisfy before finishing the food. The hotel's decoration is pretty modern, which you don't expect when having a traditional experience like this one, but I found it very comfortable. Service was nice, and all the food items were delicious. I would certainly come back here again.

Reception: yeah don't ask but it's quite stylish inside ...

Quite a stylish hotel. Check in was good, the receptionist offered a glass of their citrus water, which I needed as I am suffering a Cold. I had booked a single room as that was what was left online. Room I was given, was very small, like an L shape room with a small bathroom. I found out later my colleague who checked in after me had a single bed, but when he carried on describing it, it turns out he had a twin room with a sofa! Anyway I guess I have a nice room and I'm only here for two nights. While waiting for colleagues, I found free sweets in the reception! Nice touch!!! I will add more later once I experienced breakfast etc

A luxury hotel in a great location close to Kings Cross. The rooms are nice and modern, albeit dark. Lighting is limited to ceiling spots which can't be individually controlled, it's either all on or all off. The bathrooms have a bath with a wall mounted shower (no hand held shower head, which you would expect for a five star hotel), and the small shower screen is not watertight. In the room in which I stayed the shower screen was so leaking, and the floor becomes an annoyingly wet pool of water. Breakfast is very good with a good variety of full English breakfast.

Many hotels around thenworld are just hotels ......... all very much the same. Ambience, layou, room size , free wifi etc etc. what makes all the difference isnthenstaff the you come across during you stay and the way they interact with you.. We'll this hotel whilst ideally located just a couple on minutes from a tube station, surrounded by some great eating joints, free wifi, free papers, smallish rooms was all about the staff. Buckets full of charisma, engaging at every opportunity, respectful of you space I'm the dining room and nothing to much trouble. Well worth the higher price Inwas expecting to pay but the hotel was full.

I stayed at the Radisson Edwardian Grafton based on it's position on the price vs. location scale. It's just moments from King's Cross but nearly 1/2 the price of nearby tourists hotels. Our room had plenty of space but nothing overly special to speak of. WIth convient tubes out to more exciting destinations the Radisson did me well.

Vomit in the hallway covering the floor.

She made sure our luggage was delivered and answered our questions. She made me feel valued as a customer and at ease on a stressful travel day. The hotel is located within walking distance of the tube, Oxford street with Selfridges as well as many restaurants. There is a taxi rank located right outside which was very convenient. The rooms were very comfortable with plentiful amenities like complimentary bottled water, mini fridge, robes and slippers, etc. The bed was so soft and there were a good variety of channels on the television. All staff we interacted with at the hotel were helpful and kind. There was a fire evacuation on one of the days we were there and an announcement came on the loud speaker informing us to leave and staff members guided us to the exit quickly. The buffet breakfast was nice with omelets by request, a variety of hot and cold items (bacon, sausage, eggs, hash browns, baked beans, pancakes/waffles, fresh fruit and vegetables, juices, cereal, yogurt, pastries). There were servers to clear your plates and provide drinks. We had drinks one evening at the bar and Marco was such an entertaining and efficient bartender. He made our evening memorable and put so much attention into making our cocktails and providing us with information about the signature drinks available. Overall I would stay here again! The location was wonderful and we had a very comfortable stay.

The buffet alone was enough for a meal and it had so many options including fresh fruit, pastries, juice, smoothies, meats and cheese, etc. BREAKFAST WAS HEAVEN. I also really enjoyed the gym! Plenty of equipment. Upon arrival, they brought up chocolates and fruits. The chocolates were AMAZING. They also refilled our fruits and water in the room when the room would get cleaned. It was all the little things that made this place very special. We even stopped by the hotel pub (The Wigmore) which was great too and spotted a celebrity (Gerard Butler!) We had afternoon tea here as well and it was such a memorable experience. Truly a wonderful hotel and I'd highly recommend to anyone! One year later we were back for a mother daughter trip with another mother/daughter. I originally booked the St Ermins again, but then thought it may be fun to switch it up and stay in a new area of London. A friend/travel agent recommended The Marylebone Hotel, which met all of our requirements: - easy to get around in London - fairly priced by London standards - good shopping/restaurant area We arrived a little cranky from our flight in Edinburgh after a 2 hour Uber from the airport. They greeted us warmly and even told me they had an upgrade for me, although ran out of upgraded for my friend which didn't make her happy. To be fair our rooms were right next to each other and I didn't see a difference so don't think mine was really "upgraded" The rooms like most in London were small. We had 2 twin beds pushed together. It was basically like sleeping in one big bed, but we had our own set of covers which made my 13 year old happy. Everything was very clean and nice, but small. The attached gym was great. It seemed to be a popular local gym so was quite crowded, but if there was room in classes hotel guests could join. I did a leg class one day, which I enjoyed...although got a great leg workout just walking miles and miles around London everyday. The surrounding area was so cute - filled with boutiques (some unique to London and other popular back in the states). There were lots of little cafes to grab a treat as well. We spent a lot of time in covenant garden to see shows on this trip, which was quite the walk but great way to get exercise. And when we returned from the craziness of covenant garden it was nice to be in a quiet area. Breakfast was included in our daily rate. The buffet was adequate and I enjoyed eggs and coffee from the menu. We also received a $50 room credit, which we used to raid the mini bar the last day for some airplane snacks. I thought St Ermins was the perfect pick for my family's first trip to London since it was right next to the tube and near so many sites, but this hotel worked out perfectly for a mother daughter eating, shopping and shows adventure.
