    Lovely gift bag from Esperanza!
    Lindy D.

This is a great example of customer service turning a poor experience into a positive one and what would have become a bad review into a favourable one. My husband and I arrived into London tired from travelling. We had spent several days in Lisbon Portugal and had almost two weeks of travel prior to that behind us. We had a show booked that night. The hotel's first impression is positive and the smell is delightful. We had a lovely evening at the musical "Tina" (Amazing!) but then the difficulty began. We wanted to go to sleep and the thermostat was at 24. Very hot. My husband had set it for 18 when we left for dinner and it didn't budge. The engineer came and said the person staying the night previously had also complained about the heat and they gave them a fan. unacceptable! Fix the air or move us please It's after 11pm now and we are exhausted after all the travelling and the show. The engineer argued with us and said it would cool off. He came back in 20 minutes and said he fixed it. He didn't. An hour later he came back again and it had moved UP hotter. They said they would move us in the morning. A few sleepless sweaty hours later my husband says wake up it's 8am on the thermostat in the room I'll make coffee on the nespresso machine ( huge plus) and we'll change rooms. He calls and speaks to the manager and she assures him they will move us. I'm so shaky but start packing up drinking coffee and getting ready. 45 minutes later I'm on Google looking at the stock market and it seems wrong. I google London time and it's 6am. We've been up over 45 minutes but the room clock said 845am and my phone said 545am. What?! Apologies again air conditioning broken and clock wrong. Anyway At breakfast a lovely young woman named Esperanza, an Aura Host, stopped by so apologetic and later even sent gifts from the hotel. Stuff happens and when people take responsibility for it that's all that matters. Yes they moved our room and gave us a free dinner at a lovely steakhouse. All is forgiven.

We booked on their website. It's a great location--walking distance to 2 tube stations (Covent Garden & Temple) and the hotel is GORGEOUS. The front desk staff was very accommodating when we checked in at 1000 and had a room ready. We had a bottle of champagne delivered the 1st night, 2nd night we had a bottle of wine & snacks waiting in our room--no charge. I ordered room service 2x. 1st time it was delivered within 15min! Fish & chips were excellent. We had drinks in the rooftop (Radio). Drinks were excellent and the view was great. Nice restaurant. We will definitely book here again our next trip to London.

This is a truly gorgeous hotel. I stayed here back in the good old days and had the loveliest experience. I used the Code app as well to get an excellent rate. Service was perfect and the rooms delicious. Would come back in a heartbeat x

Spent ten perfect nights here in June. I loved our suite, even though it was only on the second floor the layout was really cool (room211) and way more spacious than I usually get in London. It had a huge super fun bathtub and a large walk in shower. The bedroom was four steps down from the foyer so not accessible if your in a wheelchair unfortunately but really neat, oval room with a large firm and comfortable bed. We had a separate seating area that worked great for entertaining. Two fully stacked mini bars that I would rename to midi-bars because they had so much good high quality items. It was also restocked daily. Your room was refreshed twice a day and the staff was super helpful with everything we needed thru out our stay. Our daughters stayed in 209 and that was a really nice room as well, fun people watching from the little table by the window and a large enough bathroom counter for two girls total make up sets! A special shout out to Anna who checked us in Victor who was so very helpful showing us around in the hotel, room functions and helping with taxis and luggage, and Emiliano who can help you find the best dining in town, what great ambassadors for the ME hotel brand. The service team giving you daily treats as surprises and swiftly attending whatever needs you might have also deserves an applause. The only bad experience we had was trying to visit the roof top bar. The staff was really rude and then they placed us outside in a corner where there were no heaters, no music and no people, far away from every one else, really strange and so unnecessary stuck up. We did not have a reservation, but there were so many empty tables both inside and outside, I guess we were just not cool enough? We had dinner last night at STK in the hotel as well and that was great, our server Danielle was fast and fun and got every detail right and the food was fantastic. And Thursday's they had great Champagne specials! Whoop!

I love the ME hotel chain the management and staff are always excellent and go above and beyond. ME London was no exception I mentioned via email the one night we would be staying there was a special occasion and they brought in chocolates and a special note to the room. Excellent touch!! This hotel is uber modern and has a seemless space age decor that I personally love. The rooms themselves are extremely soundproof so no matter what floor you are on you won't hear anything. All the amenities throughout the room are what you would expect of a 5 star hotel. In additional to the hotel is has a nice 1st level bar, 2 restaurants and a rooftop bar. All are worth checking out. The rooftop bar fell a little flat. Found them. To be a bit rude and pompous and we got stuck in a corner by the door. But still worth a drink. Overall I will continue to book and recommend ME hotels.

This is a really modern hotel and the service here are generally good. The housekeepers here are efficient about cleaning your room. The bar at the lobby offers great cocktails and bartenders are friendly. The thing is they do not have a diversified in room dining menu and no swim pool in this 5-star hotel.

    Lobby is amazing

This hotel is definitely a "wow" hotel- from check in to check out. The "lobby" is just flat out awesome with sleek white coaches and a light show on the walls...and prosecco on ice. There is an STK located on the street level and a rooftop bar as well, both of which are great for pre or post dinner drinks! The room was large for a European/big city room and had fantastic amenities! The bed and linen were also great, I did not want to leave then! There is a small table with a floor to ceiling window, great for coffee or cocktails. Closet, coffee nook and mini-bar/snacks for purchase. The room has robes and slippers, as well as turn down service. I would also be remiss if I didn't mention the staff which are very accommodating and helpful throughout the stay. And to add to all this the location couldn't be better!!!

Clean room? Very clean, big area, private balcony, AMAZING SHOWER Good service? Very helpful, fast, and accommodating Good atmosphere? GREAT for traveling young people Worth the price? 100% Will we go back? Please First of all, I have to say how amazing the room was. Upon check in, I did my normal joke about wanting an upgrade if the penthouse is available for no extra charge. The guy laughed and said he would make sure we are on a high floor and that we would love our room. He was right. The room had a private balcony, awesome views, the best shower room of my life, and awesome mood lighting. The service was wonderful, not only did the guy assure us that we would love our room, but we were pampered with doormen who took our suitcases, and served us complimentary champagne from our first step inside. The front door guy got to know us, and he was full of tips for things to do and of course suggested the roof top happy hour. I wish we would have stayed in London longer to stay at this hotel. The location was also perfect. We walked to the British Museum (and plenty of pubs on the way), went out in Convent Garden, took the subway to the airport, and had the big bus tour stop right outside the door. 100% recommended

A bottle of Moët comped for us changing rooms. The AC was not working.
    Alan E.

The location was central to all of London! We're we happy that are air conditioning was not working when we checked in, of course not. I called the front desk and was assisted by the manager named Emma who apologized and went above and beyond by upgrading us to a larger room/suite and also surprising us with a bottle of Moët which I call "the bubbles"! The lobby is a fashionable experience with a light show in the evening (8-9:00?) and they top you off with prosecco sparkling wine while checking inn. The concierge is accommodating and caring. Now for the Radio Rooftop Bar and Restaurant located on the 10th floor was an experience of its own kind. Highly recommended going there for a drink or two and taking in all the breathtaking views! We went there on a Saturday and the place was trendy and had a live DJ. The ME Hotel will always have a place in my heart, without a doubt!

The staff was very friendly and gave us some suggestions of places to eat and have coffee while we waited. The comfy room was SNUG but it had all of the amenities I needed. I wish the room had more accessible outlets. There was one on one side of the bed but not the other. We accidentally overloaded the circuit in our bedroom because of it by using a power strip from the single outlet and it shut down all of the power to the outlet and TV. The staff was quick to come up to take a look and fix the issue. They let us borrow their adapter. I did make use of the water provided at the front desk. The lobby seems to be a hang out place for studying and free wifi. There was an instance where sat down in the lobby momentarily just to figure out my destination and the staff immediately poured me some water. Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendliest staff who checked us in with no issues. We were offered cocktails, we were given a brief tour, and we were given London suggestions based on our likes and dislikes. The hotel itself is stunning. You don't get that stuffy cookie cutter hotel feeling... it's chic and artsy and fun. The rooms were incredible. The amenities plentiful and the utmost quality. And the art... the art is everywhere and it's a vibe. The hotel location is conveniently located just a block from the river Thames. It's also a short walk to the Tate Modern, Burrough Markets, Flibe Theater, the London Eye, Big Ben, etc. for anything else you're a short walk from many train stations (Black Friar, Waterloo, etc). You can also get a river cruise nearby. While we were mostly in our room just to sleep. The rooms were so fancy yet inviting. There is neat art hanging on the walls. There's complimentary chips (crisps) and chocolates in the cabinets near the mini fridge. The mini fridge is stocked with canned waters. There's also closet space, an iron, a fancy new Nespresso machine, tea options, a safe, mini fridge, etc There's a gym, a working art gallery and work space, a hip bar, and a delightful restaurant that serves both dinner and a breakfast that includes a delicious buffet. One day we were out and we came back to our room only to find that we had a bottle of champagne waiting on ice, truffles, and a thoughtful card from the staff. Another day we ran into a staff member near the hotel (not at work) who gave us more suggestions and told us that they wanted to comp our breakfast for the last couple days of our trip Some tips: Take advantage of the Mon-Thurs wine happy hour on the second floor. There is a lovely lounge and the wine pours freely for an hour. Mingle with the staff and other guests. Ask the staff for local recommendations. Use the carafe water stations on each floor to bring water to your room. There is stilled and sparkling water options on tap. And in the morning as you're leaving feel free to pick up canned water (stilled or sparkling) on your way out. Also, if it's raining there are complementary umbrellas you can borrow on your way out. The Bankside Autograph Collection is an incredible experience. There are so many little touches that make you feel like you're not only in the best of hands, but that the staff has gone above and beyond to make you feel like you're royalty. I will definitely be back here. I can't stop raving about our experience. Please. Don't waste your time with other lodgings. This is where you should stay. Cheers!!

Our room overlooked a quiet side street on the British Museum side, and came with a combination shower/bath bathroom including a cloth heater for drying clothes, very useful as we had quick drying socks and underwear for our two week stay in London and New York City. The bed was two twin beds side by side, so I didn't have to worry about the wife pulling the covers off of my side of the bed. Stayed here a second time starting April 22, 2025 for 5 nights. Stayed on the opposite side of the hotel in a superior room, with two windows instead of on one, complete with morning sunshine, as no tall buildings to block our view. Room came with at least four USB charging ports, so didn't need a plug converter for our cell phones nor notepads. A laptop would have required a plug converter to recharge. And the bed was a true queen size bed, and not two twins pushed together. Room was 12' x 12', and the bathroom was 10' x 6' with shower only. Huge bathroom for European hotel. Room came with dorm size mini refrigerator, and electronic safe, along with a 24" flat screen TV, puny by American sizes. Very quiet, even though we were next to the service elevator. Both stays came with chocolate chip cookies, water, and free buffet breakfast for Hilton Silver, Gold and Diamond members. We ended up paying 1088 GBP for four nights in a superior room, and getting the fifth night free due to spending $15000 on our American Express Hilton Honors card. Seems pricey at almost $354 a night, but it includes a 20% VAT, and the reservations were made 5 months in advance. Could have gotten a standard room for a single night at the last moment for half that price. We earned 40, 000 Hilton Honors points, or $240 due to our Hilton Diamond status, for our stay using the Amex credit card. Place in the middle of the action on a busy street. According to Tripadvisor, 280 restaurants and 91 attractions within 0.3 miles Piccadilly line tube stations in Holborn and Russell Square within 0.3 miles bracket the hotel. Can take the Piccadilly line directly from Heathrow Airport to Holborn or Russell Square without transferring for about $7.70 per person using contactless credit card. Uber would be about $70, and cab $90.

The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. They allowed us to use the amenities at their spa when our room wasn't ready and we needed to clean up from the all-day travels we had spent since the day before coming over from the States. Staying at the hotel is an experience from the fact that this Victorian building used to be the original train station for St. Pancras. They have repurposed the high-ceiling gothic interior that originally served for the meeting and ticketing offices for the main lobby area and the Booking Office 1869 bar. The grandeur of the design is allowed to fully take place in the superb elements of fine dining and comforting relaxation. The Booking Office Bar & Restaurant was a mainstay for us during our time at the hotel. It's difficult not to want to check out the Victorian splendor of that interior while enjoying delicious cocktails and food at the bar or one of the nearby tables. While we didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the Victorian Punch Hour that was at 5:05 each afternoon, it is something of heard to check out if you can. In addition to the Booking Office, there is the Hansom in the lobby, the Seasonal Terrance for wine hour, MI + ME, and the Gothic Bar. The latter of which was also quite magical with its Victorian design and grand luxurious interior with darkly warm lighting and creative cocktail menu. Located next to King's Cross Station in addition to St. Pancras International Station, you have immediate access to the high-speed rail system that takes you as far north as Scotland and south throughout the heart of Europe. You have one of the central hubs to multiple Underground rail stations that can take you all through Central London and its outskirts. You are also a very short walking distance from both the British Library and the British Museum. Like literally across the street close. The St. Pancras was an excellent choice for a hotel during our stay in Central London. I hope we can return again when set our course back across the pond.

Every time I visit London I visit a couple of new places for afternoon tea on my quest to try them…read moreall. This year I found the Rosewood and was immediately intrigued by their afternoon tea styled after Japanese wood block paintings. The tea is served in their mirror room, which is very elegant with hundreds of mirrors decorating the ceiling. To stay with the Japanese theme, the traditional tea sandwiches were replaced with amuse bouche that were definitely the best savory items at all of the afternoon tea venues I tried. The rice cracker with smoked salmon was delightful, as was the scallop. After the savory portion they brought out a miniature Japanese cheesecake with yuzu, matcha, and chocolate which was stunningly delicious. The pastries, which are arguably the star of the show are brought out in a decorative box which is opened to reveal three works of art. They were beautifully done, but more style than substance with the flavors not living up to the rest of the menu. The tea menu was comprehensive and I enjoyed all of the teas I tried. It was a bit hard deciding sometimes, because many of the tea descriptions spent so much time sharing how rare and fancy they were that they ran out of space to describe the actual flavor profiles. At the end of the meal they brought me a small box with one sachet of tea to take home, which was a lovely treat. The Rosewood put on a solid afternoon tea.

I find it difficult to criticize this establishment…read more My first visit was way back when for my 21st birthday where I enjoyed high tea for the first time, and my most recent visit was as a 48-year old college professor on a study abroad trip. The service is still just as wonderful as it was decades ago: * Penelope looks like she belongs on the set of Bridgerton (delightful service) *Leonardo is clearly in love with the work he does and is fantastic with clients * the piano player needs a raise. (When I say this little Asian woman played her SOUL out!!! She played "muzak" versions of Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and many more. Truly a delight! She did a classical version of "Ribbon in the Sky" and I was done.) I just can't say enough wonderful things about the Savoy. The treats were delectable, the ambiance was worth every penny, and the staff are too kind for words. The sandwiches and sweets were a delight, the duck was a little tough, and the champagne was delightfully overpriced (€25 a glass), but it was ultimately a lovely experience. Treat yourself. Treat a friend. It's worth it.

I'm disappointed in security because they keep saying it's likely a mistake and got tossed in the linens and they're searching the linens. They also said they hope we find it in our luggage. It is NOT a mistake. It was on a table. You cannot gaslight us; it is housekeeping. Just because you review security cameras outside our room, doesn't mean she didn't stuff it in her bra inside the room. This hotel stay cost us $8,000 USD for a 4 night stay. We should not be fearing safety and security. Instead we filed a police report in a foreign county. Their inperson response to this with their "investigation" has ZERO RESOLUTION and their customer service is trash. This is also happening midpoint in our trip so hub has to travel from London to Paris with no cc's and cash. I hate this place. I hope The Savoy remains cursed 2026.
