OK, so fair warning, these rooms are very petite, if you are an American traveling, double check with the type of room you're booking. These are double beds not queen size. The rooms are lovely, but they are small and if you're used to something a little bit bigger, I would definitely book a larger room. One thing that stands out in these rooms is the fact that they have a mini fridge for you to utilize, fresh tea, and coffee with an espresso maker in the lowest category room. It was a pleasant surprise. In addition, they have a massive soaker tub. It's extremely deep and lovely after a long day of traveling.
The breakfast is incredible, and the staff is immensely helpful. Definitely reach out to Dorinda when heading to breakfast. He is full of insight and information, very kind.
When you arrive at the hotel, they do give out drink vouchers, but keep in mind that they do have a time stamp on them for certain hours, and they're only for certain beverages. If you get a chance to make it to the ESX bar for food o or drink, the service can be a little bit slow, but it is worth the wait. Food is definitely done well. I ordered the steak with a salad, tried the green olives, which are extremely plentiful, I had the pizza, sliders, fries, and a few other things, definitely check out the photos. I did eat here on multiple occasions so I'm wrapping this all into one review. The bartender is great with making recommendations for spirits and cocktails to enjoy. It's a very chill vibe great for the end of the day, but have some patience. The staff is minimal at times especially late in the evening and the kitchen closes with last food before 10 PM.
The hotel has a nice gym, but it's missing a few amenities, for instance, it would be really nice if there was some decaf tea in the room instead of everything with caffeine.... Also ice makers are not a thing... tons of plugs and electrical outlets inside the room, definitely bring a converter, but there's a lot of plugs that handle USB is just fine. It's easy to adjust. The thermostat, closet is lovely and well lit, there is a safe in the room, but things are a bit tight. If you're an organized person, you will do just fine in any category room if you're traveling as a couple, you might want a bit more space than a basic room, but it is a killer deal. I also wish the breakfast started a little bit earlier, it does start at 7:30 AM which for some is plenty early, but tours and getting on the train or a lot easier before 8 AM so there's no way that you can make a 730 breakfast. read more
