There's lots of options here, but we opted for one of the non scary ones. We did the sea serpent one and it was tough! It was a lot of fun. I appreciate the staff being so friendly and helpful

We managed to escape The Last Winter!! And with only 2 minutes to spare LOL!!

My son was in town celebrating his college graduation so we decided to do an escape room as one of our family activities and we had such a blast!! We did The Last Winter room which is an immersive Game of Thrones experience - it was challenging but very fun! And definitely a must for any GOT fans. This was my first time ever doing an escape room so I was a little nervous bc I don't do well if I have to solve complex puzzles under pressure. I really liked that their website explained the difficulty level of each themed room and the time they give you to solve them. And it was very easy to book our time slot online. The Last Winter is a moderately difficult room and I'm glad my son is an escape room pro bc I don't think I would've made it out of the first room LOL!! But we did make it out in the end with 2 minutes to spare and it was just such a fun time - I would totally love to come back and do another room! After we finished, everyone in our party got to spin their prize wheel and I won a free game!! We also won a free Polaroid so that was a really awesome memento. The staff were super friendly and helpful and are available by walkie talkie if you need help during your game. They're located in a warehouse plaza - and their facility is massive. There's plenty of parking but the surrounding area seemed really sketchy so be aware. I had a great first experience with my escape room and would love to come back and do their Jurassic Park room - it looked and sounded awesome!

How many people can there be in one room?

How much crawling or physical activity is there? I have some older people in my group.

I have completed this escape room. There is not strenuous physical activity required; however there is some crawling required to complete the room.

Is this company really open? We tried to book online from our phone and had issues so we just stopped by and they didn't look open. Their phone number doesn't work either.

I was told they have been open for three months now, and their phone number worked when we notified them one of us was gonna be 5 min late.

Toria, our host was friendly and ensured we had a great experience, going above and beyond what I typically see from most gamemasters. The new games are Vampire vs. Witch and Black Hole. I would strongly recommend Vampire vs. Witch with a smaller group and have the roles swapped out afterwards so you can best experience both puzzle tracks. I would say that, for a 15 minute game, Vampire vs. Witch was pretty cool, definitely worth the small price and would work well if you didn't have too much time or wanted a warmup for either Fatal Invitation or Black Hole. For Chinese speakers, there's also the option to switch the language in the room, but when I played the default was English. There's also an integrated hint system which allows you to communicate through a tablet, which doubles as your timer for the room. Despite having some minor technical issues on a follow-up visit with a different gamemaster, we did have a backup walkie so make sure to keep that one close by as well. Overall, I thought that these were fun rooms that, without giving away too much, challenged the norms of typical escape game style puzzles in a way that was refreshing and cleverly entertaining.

Overall, we were both very engaged, but enjoyed the experience. I would come back to try the other rooms in the future. In terms of payment, keep in mind that they do not accept card payment. Every time we come to the Escape Game and try a new room, we are blown away by the tech they use. It's not-your-average mom & pop escape room, and for that reason we LOVE it. It operates with a first-come reservation basis, but each room has a max of 8-12 players. This means that you can bring your whole group in, and there's a chance you might have some strangers joining you as well if there's still space. We tend to wait last minute and book the rooms with no reservations yet so we can try to do them on our own. This time, our game keepers Ally and Marcy were so sweet and helpful. Can't recommend her enough! We will keep coming back!

These are public escape room games meaning you and anyone out there can sign up for the SAME room for the SAME time/date. Most rooms here fit up to 8 people which would be perfect if you had a large friend group. BUT if you only had 2-4 people and sign up ahead of time, be prepared to enter the room with new faces. Games start pretty on time, so make sure to be there with waivers signed! Also, they occasionally offer 20% off your next game once you escape the first! These games lean more on the tech side utilizing digital screens, electronic doors/buttons, lights, and puzzles - all of which I love! It adds more flavor to the game, while still providing the traditional puzzles feel with some rooms having locks, ropes, and mind-tingling puzzles. I would venture to say I like having more physical handheld clues like papers or props for decoding, but this place does get the job done. Some of the puzzles even require you to work simultaneously with your escape room team which creates more thrill! I have had friends that have gone here to the same rooms I have done where the rooms are slightly changed depending on the amount of people in the room or if the tech is broken - so just be aware that your experience could be different than others. For the price of about $42 a person you can't go wrong since there are multiple options that vary in difficulty from 3/10 to 9/10. Overall would recommend especially for a quick fun nigh

This is an update to our review of Escapade Games, and we really lucked out in our choice of…read moreRockin' around the Christmas Tree. Almost all of Escapade Games' rooms have a horror element and are obviously targeted towards the colleges nearby, but not only was Rockin' adapted to accommodate parties of two; for this season, it was themed to fit the holidays. We also got a very pleasant surprise when it came time to pay for our online reservation: it was half the price of a standard room for a party of 8! This was a (happy) shock because we are used to paying for 3 or 4, even though we are a duo. The 2025 Pineapple Express had slowed to a steady trickle by the time we arrived at Escapade Games Christmas Eve after a music-less British pub lunch less than a two-minute drive away. The cavernous restrooms, located outside the lobby, were clean, and the lobby looked like it was in the midst of some renovation, but another game was going on, and since we already filled out our waivers, we settled down to wait for our game to start. And waited. And waited. And waited. When we finally started our hour-long game, after the technical difficulties were resolved and the game rules reminders given, all was forgiven very fast: as a bonus to playing a game that was getting ready to be put out of commission, we could take unlimited photos in the room! And there was so much to do in the music-themed room: even though not all the instruments were playable, and there were still minor glitches as we were playing, Joey was a terrific game host - he, too, made a quick recovery from the technical issues and was as determined as we were to have a phenomenal game. There was no timer in the room, but going by our photos, we were done in 52:48, with a lot of help. Our favourite puzzles had to do with the picks and bands, and playing the instruments to rise back up to the top of the pops as rockstars is such an original theme. The music played put us in the holiday mood - especially "The 12 Days of Christmas". That's probably not our favourite Christmas song, but it helped that I just got done with Susan Stokes-Chapman's holiday short story collection! Rockin' around the Christmas Tree is set to what we consider 3-G (Generation 3, with a lot of computer FX elements) tasks with G-1 locks, and, despite the late start, was very much the best Christmas present to set us off on our holidays! Joey, our heroic gamemaster, was a huge part of the fun game we had. We could tell he had started off not having such a good Christmas because the room's serious technical issues were clearly unexpected, but he fixed everything so that we could have a great time. We eventually realized the fantastic price we paid was not just because our game, unlike other Escapade rooms, did not feature a live actor in the room. Even more importantly, we only found out, after our game, that the room was being taken down to make way for a three-room movie-based horror adventure. We are so, so glad that we got to experience Rockin' around the Christmas Tree before it was dismantled, and keep our fingers crossed it gets a spectacular comeback in the near future (like the rockstars we were supposed to be!) That said, we are looking forward to checking out anything else Escapade Games has to offer - can't wait for more games in 2026! This review is duplicated on Yelp and Google.

Coming back for the updated version, I honestly didn't expect it to top the first one -- but it absolutely did.
