First, they required me to put a credit card on file for the "complimentary" water that comes with my Bilt booking. I've done two Bilt rides at other locations and was never asked for this. They insisted they'd charge it and Bilt would refund it. I was charged $5.50 for a water and never refunded. Ironically, I later overheard another customer complaining about the same thing and they simply gave her the water for free like it was supposed to be. Shoe rental - I asked for a size 7 and was given a 40 (3 sizes too big). I had to go back FOUR times before they finally gave me an actual 7 Locker/prep area is extremely cramped. When a class lets out it's absolute sardines. There's barely room to move around the lockers. Studio/bike setup is extremely cramped and tight. Getting to your bike feels like a 007 mission. Bikes are so close together that the rider next to me and I actually bumped elbows during the ride. Staff assistance: -I was told to flag someone down inside if I needed help setting up my bike. I stood with my hand raised calling for assistance while the staff member stared off into space. I couldn't walk over because the aisles were so clogged. -Seat cushions that I was told to grab inside weren't there, I had to flag the employee down again (she was running around frantically at this point) before she finally found me one. -I grabbed the 10lb weights on my bike and somehow got to the front to exchange them for 5lb but didn't see any. When I asked the employee right there next to me if there were more 5 lb weights the response was simply: "I don't know." Not helpful. Overall just a mess and uncomfortable all around. Everything felt rushed, disorganized and stressful. Unfortunately the class itself was sub-par and low energy. Lacked lighting, variety, encouragement. Very disappointing, I wouldn't return to this location. MB and Samo are much better bets if you want to stick with this company

However the studio is very small, the hallway that they have for lockers is very narrow and everyone bump into each other. They also don't validate the parking.

Lala was great, the playlist was awesome and the music was on point. I attended the50/50 class which is such a good of workout of spinning and Pilates. The best of both worlds! It's hard to put into words how much Spiked Wellness has meant to me. Since I first walked into the…read moreBeverly Hills studio earlier this year, it became more than just a Pilates space -- it became a home, a community, and a sanctuary for growth, strength, and sisterhood. As a Black-owned and Black-led studio, Spiked created something truly special. There was an undeniable energy -- warm, welcoming, and empowering -- that made it easy to show up fully as myself. The classes were challenging but deeply rewarding, and the vibe was unmatched. I loved the music (always on point!) and the motivation, but what truly made it stand out was the people. Week after week, I built bonds with the instructors and fellow women who kept showing up -- just like me -- to pour into themselves and into each other. We laughed, pushed through the burn, celebrated the small wins, and held space for one another. That kind of consistency and connection is rare, and I'll never take it for granted. I'm truly glad I found this gem of a studio -- it came into my life at just the right time. To the staff: thank you for showing up for me. For motivating me when I wanted to slack, for seeing me, and for encouraging me to push past my limits. Your presence mattered. Your energy mattered. To Briana -- I'm deeply, deeply grateful. Thank you for creating this space, for curating such an amazing team of instructors with kind, supportive, and inspiring energy. Your vision gave us something powerful: a place to grow, to sweat, to connect, and to feel safe in our own bodies. It's bittersweet knowing this chapter is coming to a close, but if there's ever another Spiked studio in the greater Los Angeles area, please know I'll be there -- consistently, loyally, and with so much love. And if I ever find myself in New York, you better believe I'll be stopping by the founding studio, the birthplace of it all. I will truly miss this place. But the impact? That stays with me forever.

At $40 a month or so this membership includes classes, the option for personal training sessions, showers (with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash), combination lockers, towel service, and even those Peloton bikes. Cool is a theme here. Seen as a Equinox-light version, it is located on the lower level between the 2029 and 2049 buildings adjacent from the Starbucks, Trimana, and Mickey Fine. I have enjoyed being a member, and the appeal that it is open 24/7. While this doesn't serve as my main gym, I think it is a comfy option that is far better than the poorly-ventilated David Barton's that was across the street. At the same time, this gym isn't really busy except after work and because it's membership is limited. They have state of the art equipment including those Peloton bikes, and 2 types of treadmills. Weights are minimal, but all the basics and a little more are there. It's a good small gym but the question has become whether to use a close-to-home gym or this one. It certainly will likely be nice, unless opt to pay over $200 for an Equinox membership or don't mind a place with a little drab.
