I got the Salted Maple Toffee Latte and originally forgot to request for non-dairy milk. I also put in a mobile order last minute not realizing they were about to close. Very disappointing experience…read more Unfortunately, my experience here was very disappointing. We waited about 20 minutes for our drinks, and neither one was good. I ordered a salted caramel cold brew, but it tasted nothing like salted caramel. The latte was also extremely watery and tasted more like milk than a latte. What concerned me most was the hygiene. While working, one of the staff members was petting a customer's dog. She then went directly back to work without washing her hands. I found this particularly concerning when handling drinks and food. The long wait, poor quality of the drinks, and hygiene issue made this a very disappointing visit. I wouldn't return based on this experience.

The menus were hard to read... it was a small 8.5x11 in a crumbled up cheap, plastic sleeve and the backside was printed upside down. We ordered a tri tip sandwich to split and it was really bad. Every bite we took, we had to chew around the fat. We don't even think it was tri tip... it was so tough. It was embarrassing leaving a bunch of chewed up meat on the plate. Not only was the meat fatty and tough, it really didn't have much flavor. They used to play Hawaiian music but today it was music with a ton of ads. Not very relaxing. Once our meal was done, I mentioned to the waitress my plate has two giant chips on it... she said unfortunately most of them are that way. Glad we gave them another try, but feel like we wasted our money. We have ordered the sandwich in the past and it was good. Hopefully, they are not struggling... but quality of food, menus and chipped plates are not a good sign. Even the music was a disappointment... no one wants to hear a bunch of ads while dining.

I completely understand why costs are rising--ingredients, labor, and overhead aren't getting any cheaper for local businesses, so an increase makes sense. However, with the current pricing, stopping by for a routine treat or grabbing a few items for the family is becoming noticeably less affordable for us. The quality and taste are still consistent, but it's shifted from a casual, regular stop to more of a rare, occasional splurge. I still love what they offer, but I really hope prices stabilize so it stays accessible for regular visits.

As the afternoon went on, it became unbearably hot inside the café. We asked the staff if they could lower the temperature, but were told that administration had taken the remote control and that employees did not have access to adjust the air conditioning. It was a very unusual explanation, and honestly, I wasn't sure whether it was true or if they simply wanted us to leave. Unfortunately, the uncomfortable temperature made it difficult to enjoy our time there, especially during a meeting. Based on this experience, I don't plan on returning anytime soon.
