A few of the frustrations: a) drove in rush hour to get it b) had to come back the following day cause it was at another location, untouched c) although the lady apologized, she made it seem like she would go out of her way to pick it up tomorrow and bring it back to the store --its not a favour, the items should be ready when it stated I had planned it perfectly,we were leaving for a wedding in 2 days (gave myself a day buffer-LUCKILY!) Had to take it to an alterations place in Calgary for repair and they suspected too much chemical was used. This was my second bad experience here - the first was a few years ago where I took a brand new $100 dress there to be altered as the front of the dress was at my knees and the back was tapered/longer at below my knees so I wanted the back brought up to match the front. What did they do?...they brought the front up to at my crotch...the dress was unwearable after that - common sense would tell you that alteration would make NO sense. Second chances aren't always a good idea. We won't be going back.
